About this house rental
Welcome to your vacation beach getaway in the private, gated Spinnaker’s Reach neighborhood! The neighborhood includes private beach access, a community pool (across from the beach access), as well as community access to Bogue Sound in neighboring Spinnaker’s Landing.
Our home is a third row oceanside duplex with a spacious reverse floor plan that sleeps 11 in 5 bedrooms. The second-floor master-primary suite includes a king bed, private deck access, and a soaking tub with separate shower in the bathroom. Two additional second floor bedrooms include queen beds and share a hall bath. The third-floor guest room also offers a queen bed and a wardrobe in lieu of a closet. On the first floor, you’ll find bunk room that includes a full-twin bunk as well as a foosball game.
The spacious third floor is an open floor plan, including the family room, a brightly lit and well-stocked kitchen that includes a granite countertop and a dishwasher (of course…who wants to wash dishes on vacation?), plus access to the top-level deck.
We provide linen service for your stay included in your rate, including fully made beds; two bath towels per person, plus hand towels and wash cloths; bathmats for all bathrooms; and three kitchen towels. The cost of linens, towels, plus standard departure cleaning, are all included in the weekly rate: there's no additional charge for any of these.
Our amenities include Wi-Fi connectivity, a gas grill, dumbwaiter, full-size hot tub, hot/cold outdoor shower, full-size washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, as well Roku or Smart TVs in 3 bedrooms. The family room includes a large Smart TV and a DVR player, along with an assortment of games and puzzles for rainy days. We also provide a golf cart for your convenience. Please follow posted rules for golf cart use; golf carts are only for neighborhood use, they aren’t allowed on Coast Guard Road. We keep spices, dish soap, and other amenities for your use, but these may vary as other guests use them; we make a day trip once or twice a month to restock as needed. We also have beach toys and also beach chairs (only 3 right now) available for you use; these get used hard at the beach, so what's available may vary, and likewise, we make every effort to update on our day trip visits.
We welcome your dogs, up to 2 allowed with a $150 non-refundable fee per pet. Emerald Isle allows dogs on the beach, though they must be on a leash (owner, too!). You’ll find pickup bags at the beach access so you can clean up after your pet and keep our beach clean.

I would have to say that this was the cleanest beach house we have ever stayed in! The owners take great pride in their house as we could tell from the moment we arrived. Joe was there to greet us and show us around and really made us feel welcome. The house was 3 levels and there was a dumb waiter to assist us. It was perfectly decorated, kitchen was fully stocked, the assortment of board games was extensive. My kids learned how to play monopoly! They even had complimentary toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags and many other items that I can't think of right now for us to use upon arrival. The golf cart provided for our use was awesome for getting our stuff and kids to the beach and the beach access and pool are just down the road. The top floor is where the kitchen and family room are and a bedroom and bathroom and beautiful deck off of it. The second floor has the master bedroom with en suite, two other bedrooms and a nice bathroom. The first floor has a large bedroom with nice bunk beds, a foosball table and it's own bathroom, a laundry room and hot tub access. The only disappointing issue we had was that the hot tub was not working, which Joe informed us about before we got there. A technician was sent out to look at it but was unable to fix it until after we had left. Joe promptly credited us for this inconvenience which we truly appreciate and I understand was out of his control. I would definitely rent this house again. Thanks again Joe!

We had a wonderful trip! It was a great location. Had a little hiccup with check in, outside of owner/management control, but overall it was fine. Having the golf cart was awesome. Made it very easy to haul all the beach gear and the kids enjoyed rides through the neighborhood and to check out the turtles. There were a couple unforeseeable issues, but the communication from the owner was absolutely fantastic and they really did an amazing job to provide solutions and make sure we had a great stay. House had plenty of games and activities for the kids and adults. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and tools. Overall it was a great spot, and we would definitely stay again for another family trip.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and has everything you need and more for a relaxed stay. It’s extremely close to the beach and really nice to have the use of the pool and hot tub. Thanks for a great week!

We met Joe upon arriving and he was a gracious and lovely host. He took us through the property and made sure we had everything we could possibly need or want. We all loved the property and didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay. It was immaculately clean and inviting. I would bring my husband and four kids here again and again. Joe and Carol’s place is a gem.
