Nestled in Lake Norman, this charming house for $350 per night is a great option for your next break. ***Please note we are taking extra steps to disinfect everything between renters. We always pride ourselves in having our house perfect for you! Safety is very important to us. We want you to feel confident in booking our home that we have gone the extra mile to do this for you!♥ Freshly updated 2100 square foot cottage with breathtaking main channel views of Lake Norman. There are two covered deck spaces for dining, relaxing, and enjoying all the views that the lake has to offer. If you have a boat, bring your own and park it at the dock. If you need a rental, there are several places we recommend on the lake to rent one for the week. We also have outdoor seating on the dock to relax and unwind. The home comes with 2 kayaks, a canoe, a large floating mat, and several smaller floats for you to enjoy. Below the deck, this home offers a small goldfish pond with a waterfall feature which adds the serene and relaxing sounds after an exciting day on the lake. We also offer a firepit area to close out the perfect day on Lake Norman. There are two king bedrooms and one room with a bunk bed of twins and a single twin bed. We also have a queen sleeper sofa in the downstairs den. All of our bedrooms have memory foam mattresses and luxurious high-thread-count sheets for the ultimate good night's rest. Both of the king bedrooms come with attached bathrooms. The home features two dens, one upstairs and one downstairs. Enjoy some Netflix on our 4 smart TVs, as well as high-speed internet throughout the house to log in to your Disney, Hulu, Prime, etc., and stream your favorite series or movies. The upstairs family room/dining room has floor-to-ceiling windows to maximize the beauty of the outdoors. The galley kitchen is well stocked for the cook in the family to host a spectacular meal after a fun-filled day making memories on the water. There is outdoor seating upstairs on the deck as well as downstairs under the deck. This house has sunrise views from the deck and boasts the perfect place to have your coffee while enjoying the beauty of a new day beginning. If you like to fish, bring your fishing rods because we catch lots of catfish and bass all around our dock. We even have rod holders on the dock for your enjoyment. We have card games as well as a host of board games for our guests to use. In addition to our home's many amenities, we are also only a 5-minute drive to Lake Norman State Park. They have 36 miles of mountain biking and hiking trails, as well as a beach area with lifeguards. They offer pedal boat, paddleboard, kayak, and canoe rental as well. ***Please note that we have a NO PETS policy that will be strictly enforced. Thank you!

My daughter and I stayed there for Thanksgiving. It was too cold for water activities, but we had a blast in the game room playing pool, ping pong, and arcade games. The view of the lake was wonderful. The kitchen was well supplied so we had a great Thanksgiving meal. We will definitely book again in the summer!

Needed a place to stay for granddaughters wedding and we hit the jackpot. The view is amazing especially at sunset. Loved the comfortable beds and the basket of soft throws to curl up in to watch the sunsets. The game room was a big hit! The owners made sure all was good and were available if we needed anything. We will be back!

We had such a great time at Lake Norman. We were greeted with a sweet anniversary card when we arrived. The home was beautiful and clean, and had everything we wanted. We fished, played pool, and relaxed. The weather was gorgeous! Can't wait to go back and maybe take the grandkids!

Our son moved to North Carolina for work and three years later he married his southern belle. We traveled from Northern MI for the wedding festivities and Shana's place was the perfect home away from home for us. We had 6 adults(2- 17 yr olds) staying in the house and had plenty of room to roam. The game room was a bit and the house was so beautiful in the fall, on the lake and we couldn't be happier with the accommodations. Knowing our son is here for good, we hope to stay in Shana's place for future visits. You will not be disappointed! Highly recommend

This home is everything we could ask for and more. The view was beautiful, accommodations welcoming and had everything one could need for a restful and fun vacation. My teens especially loved the game room and kayaking. I loved the porch with a good cup of coffee and a book!

We came to town for our son’s wedding. The groom wanted to spend time with his groomsmen and family before his big day. We enjoy the outdoors so why not Lake Norman. We used the dock, boathouse, fire pit and spacious decks. Most of us have never been to the lake itself. Upon arriving we fell in love with this lakeside cabin. We were surprised with all the room, the surprise game room. The hostess was very helpful when we had one issue and contacted a neighbor for us. We didn’t want to leave. We had 8-9 people here and had room to spread out. The owners are continually upgrading the property as they have time. All instructions were sent by text on the day of arrival. We had a great time and want to come back as soon as we are able.

Very pretty location on Lake Norman. Quiet with spectacular views of the lake. Beautiful sunrises. Home was spacious and very comfortable. Beds were like sleeping on clouds - so comfy!! Lots of water toys available and seating outdoors to enjoy the serene and lovely view. Definitely would come back!!!

Our family had a great time at the Brookside Cottage The home was beautifully decorated. Shana was quick to respond to my text messages. The public boat ramp was close to the house. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare our family meals. The game room in the garage was a nice touch for rainy days. We spent our days cruising the lake and our evenings on the back deck. We can't wait to come back to Lake Norman next year.

Brookside Cottage was the perfect location on Lake Norman. It had a nice view of the lake, but it was tucked away on the cove a little, so it was quiet and peaceful. We have older kids, and they loved having the lower level to themselves. The game room in the garage was a nice surprise, and the kids spent a lot of time playing pool and ping pong. We spent several days hanging out at the house and playing on the lake. It was also a close drive to lots of other activities in the area. The furniture was very comfortable and we all slept well! Shana was very kind and great at communicating information we needed to access the house. It was a great week and we would love to visit again!

We had a great stay at the lake house. The house was very clean and we had a blast using the kayaks and other supplied water gear. We caught lots of fish off the dock including some large blue catfish! The kids loved the game room in the garage and we had fun competing in classic video games! Overall was a great time and would recommend this house to others who are looking for a quiet lake house vacation!

The location was beautiful. The hosts did a great job of communicating with us. The house lived up to all expectations. Everything was very clean, no drawback here at all. Our whole family had a great time here. The hosts were very welcoming, there were a lot of nice touches throughout the house. We will definitely be back!!

We simply loved this lake house. The game room was amazing. We played pool, ping pong and classic video games. Loved the dock and boat house. The views were fantastic of the lake and surrounding area. The beds were comfortable and the room’s spacious. The kitchen had everything needed to enjoy our stay. This home is impressive with views that are breathtaking. The decor is very nice and the interior is clean and cozy. Four teacher friends and I spent a long weekend reconnecting and this home allowed us to do just that. The living area is warm with its gas fireplace and the kitchen offered enough space for us to cook and socialize. We were very pleased with our accommodations here and look forward to returning to Lake Norman next year. I highly recommend this property.
Working with Shana, the property owner was delightful. She was very attentive, thorough in her communication, and willing to help in any way. This property would make a great get away destination any time of the year.

This was a comfortable cozy bungalow that served its purpose for our Thanksgiving family getaway. Cozy being the operative word. I deferred the upper King bedroom for my elder in-laws putting me and my wife in the basement. I am a medium build guy and struggled to move around in the bathroom. Anybody over 6’ or 220 lbs probably won’t fit. The same goes for the 1/2 bath on the main level. Additionally, the adults agreed that the beds were to soft.
All in all, the bungalow served us well. The views were amazing, the street was quiet and the little touches that the owners added were very nice.

This is our second time staying in this charming lake house with amazing lake views. This was the perfect weekend getaway spot. House clean and cozy with comfortable king sized beds. There were four adults with room for more. Boathouse was equipped with kayaks, life jackets and floats. Spacious outside deck with covered eating area. Wonderful place for a quiet, peaceful getaway! Would definitely recommend.

The house was exactly as it was presented in the listing. Very quaint, personally decorated - had a personal touch, well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The upstairs living space had a great view of the lake from the kitchen, living/dinning room, and the back covered porch, porch was amazing. We spend a lot of time in both. Very quiet. The boathouse and dock was super convenient for access and fun in the water. The boathouse was stocked with everything we needed. We kayaked, canoed, fished and swam all week. Rented a boat for a day and the dock was perfect for this. We loved it, had a super fun and relaxing week. We hope to visit again!! Property manager was easy to communicate with and available for any questions throughout the week. Thank you!!

This house was very nice & spacious for our 6 adults. The view of lake was beautiful and the roof on the deck was nice as it rained a couple days while we were there. The extra fridge in the garage was nice for overflow. Pantry space was nice. Things I would kindly suggest: An exterminator to spray regularly. My husband was bit my a tick sitting/taking a nap on the outdoor loveseat and had a horrible reaction to it. I would have thought it was a spider bite due to the reaction but I pulled the tick off myself. My kids kept seeing a snake in the outside wall of the house on bottom floor patio. My son was finally able to pull it out of the crack on day 3 & took up to road & released it. He said was a king snake. No hangers in closets except a few wire ones. Bunk bedroom has a closet with no hangers and needs a dresser. My daughter lived out of her suitcase all week. The water smells a little rusty. Thank you
