Located in Ninth Ward, this charming house for $345 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Located between the Mississippi Gulf Coast Casino's and the Famous French Quarter on Lake St. Catherine. This property has it all. Enjoy the excitement of gambling or the fun of Bourbon St. Then just 30 minutes to your own piece of Paradise. You get the sunrise in the morning, sunset in the evening and a sea of stars all night long while enjoying the deck or on the rear fishing pier over the lake. Did I mention the breeze?? This beautifully appointed house has everything you will need. It is an open floor plan with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Take advantage of the abundance of fishing and crabbing the lakes have to offer. Or take a kayak ride. Bring your boat and launch 4 doors down at Island Marina and then tie up to our private dock. Our house is equipped with an outdoor grill, propane, burners, pots and pans. Just bring the fish fry and oil. I will even leave you my favorite crab boil seasoning to try while you are here. Fishing polls, crab traps and nets are on the property for your enjoyment. If you don't feel like cooking your days catch, save it and you are just a short drive to downtown New Orleans or Olde Town Slidell. Both offer an array of choices to tickle your tastebuds. There are local fishing guides to take you out for a day of fun and fishing if you do not have your own boat. Owning this house has been a lifelong dream of mine and I can't wait to share my little piece of heaven on earth with you.

We had a fantastic time! Such a great location for fishing. It was so much fun to watch the men in our family behave like little boys filled with excitement to fish! Patty and her husband were very hospitable, helpful, and accommodating. We felt very welcome. We hope to return soon.

This was the best vacation me and my family have ever had. The house was amazing with the porch and the views. The porch is also enclosed so if you have a dog like we did you won't have to worry about them getting away. The host Patty was great and easy to talk to. They have everything at the house that you could possibly need, except food of course. She is a very thoughtful host. We loved going to the French Quarter to walk down Bourbon Street but getting to go back to the house where it was private and quiet was the perfect end to each day. I definitely plan on going back to New Orleans and hope that I'm able to stay at Patty's place again.

We loved our time on the lake! Check in was easy and very accommodating. Patty went above and beyond. Everything you need is here and it was great to have both cities so close by.The seafood business next door can be loud at times but turned into a great conversation starter. Beautiful place

It was very impressive...after spending the day away to go and enjoy the beauty of NOLA, coming back to the Campton's was like coming back to your own home. Very relaxing and comfortable! They supplied everything you could possibly think of for the bedroom, bathroom, laundry room and kitchen right down to the spices! If you want to go and enoy the Jazzy part of NOLA, but want peace and quiet and a good night's rest, I highly recommend The Campton's! We are looking forward to Our next trip down here and will definitely be staying here!

The house was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. Everything you could need is there for you. It was nice to visit New Orleans, and then come home to a quiet place on the lake. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here, and would definitely come back if we get back to this area.

My family and I (6 adults, ages 50+) had the most relaxing stay at this Lake Cathrine property. The men fished, the ladies chatted through the night on the airy, upstairs lanai. The Crescent city was just about 20 minutes away by car, for additional shopping, dining and live music. We also slid into Slidel for quick breakfasts and food shopping. The property was beautifuly decorated, well appointed and clean. This was a winning pick for this area!

We really did enjoy it our stay. Everyone caught at least 1 fish off off the pier. The house is beautiful. Let me know if there's a way to post pics of the beautiful sunsets.

Nice place, as advertised. Good location, close to NOLA, but not too close. Slidell has good facilities and restaurants---i wish we could have brought out boat. we enjoyed the Swamp Encounter tour.

We loved our stay! The views from the porch were lively and lovely! Under the house is a great gathering spot as well! The home was clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. House was well stocked. We will definitely come back!

Great camp! Very comfortable and everything you need for your stay. More like a vacation home than a camp, you are not roughing it! Conveniently located only a few doors down from a full service marina. Definitely plan to stay again.

We just loved this house so much! Pontchartrain on one side, Catherine on the other - sunset and sunrise every day. We couldn't wait to get back each day to be home, on the deck or the dock or in the kitchen. The magic and wonder of this place is not lost on us. What a special place. And it has everything you could ever need while on vacation!

Had a great stay here. Very clean. Plenty of towels, shampoo. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Deck was pretty. Kayaked down to the fort on a non windy day. 30 minutes to downtown. Downside was the 24/7 lights on at commercial fishery next door which interfered with sitting on deck at night.

Wonderful house. Just a couple of things missing- coffee pot, toaster, electric broom. Please fix the flap on the dryer vent. It was noisy. Otherwise I would recommend it to anyone.
