About this house rental
Situated in Zilker, this charming house for $182 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. This 2 bedroom 1 bath duplex is wheelchair accessible with an entry ramp, roll in shower and open space under the sink in kitchen and bath. Enjoy the birds in the oak tree shading the partially covered deck with your morning coffee or just after a day at Barton Springs Pool, Austin's crown jewel. This half duplex of approx. 1000 Sq. Ft. can sleep up to 4 comfortably. The open living/dining/kitchen area has windows all along the front of the building for lots of natural light. We have no contact check-in with key-less deadbolt. Pets allowed with a $50 pet fee. For bookings over 28 days, there won't be tax collected but the cleaning fee is $200 and pet fee is $100, to be requested. The updated kitchen has everything you need to cook with and with the 2 folding chairs in the closet, the dining table seats 6. We offer fresh organic locally roasted coffee beans, a grinder, filters and a drip thermos coffee pot along with tea bags, sugar, cream, and Splenda. There is a Britta water pitcher, oil, basic condiments and some spices and herbs in the kitchen as well. There is a gas grill on the deck and tools and grate covers in the kitchen. All of our properties are fully stocked with linens, towels and there is a washer and dryer and all the supplies, free for our guests' use. There are no stairs up to the deck and front entryway from the driveway, and once you’re in it’s all one level with plenty of grab bars in the roll in shower and at the toilet. While we can’t say this property is ADA compliant, it’s been wheelchair friendly for many people. There are Smart TV's in the living room and master bedroom, with access to local channels with an antenna, and high speed protected wireless internet. You are renting the entire property - this is NOT a shared space. You also have a reserved driveway that can fit one to two cars next to each other. We typically don't interact with guests much, however we live nearby so, if you need anything at all, we are there for you. Call or text us! This property is just .44 miles from Zilker Park, home to Barton Springs Pool. Located in the Barton Hills area is perfect for exploring Austin, being just a few miles from downtown and with easy access to restaurants, shops and entertainment. There is a bus stop about a 2/3 mile away on Barton Springs Rd. if you want access to public transport. The hike and bike trails are also a fabulous way to get around Austin via bike or on foot. You can rent bikes through Barton Springs Bike Rentals and they'll have them delivered to the property. Ask for our 10% discount. Uber or Lyft are in Austin if you don't want to rent a car.

This was our second stay in this wonderful duplex. Cynthia and Peach are wonderful hosts (we have rented from them for ten years), and they have made this rental vacation ready ( jyst bring your clothes). Family of 4 visiting family over the weekend. Check-in was easy, communication was strong. The property is in a great location to access the Greenbelt and downtown as well as South Austin where our family lives. So many great restaurants and shops to explore nearby. The beds were comfortable and the unit was well stocked with everything we needed and more. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back in the future!

Great place in a quiet neighbourhood in Austin
We had a very nice time staying at this property in a quiet neighbourhood in Austin but close to everything. We rode our bicycles down to the path and enjoyed with wonderful sights of Austin and playgrounds. Thanks again,

Although Zilker park is near, it still requires a 20 min walk (reason for my 4 star rating on description). Listing says 2 blocks and it's a pleasant walk, just know it's an uphill climb walking back to the property from Barton Springs pool and Zilker Park. No complaints, just informing further on description. We rather enjoyed the extra workour :) I'd stay again in a heartbeat and I HIGHLY recommend it. Cindy and Peach are very good communicating before arrival with instructions and have many suggestions in a book within the property. I liked that is is privately and stand alone structure and not a typical duplex. This affords way more privacy when playing music and such. Lots of daily details we enjoyed. This is one of the most cleanliest and well stocked properties we've stayed at. It had everything we needed with nice little touches like condiments, sun screen, insolated grocery bags and beach towels. The beds were very comfortable and there was a good amount of space in all the rooms. We enjoyed the deck that had a nice table/chairs and a grill. We had a few questions before our stay and during our stay and the owners were very responsive. If you want a mixture of nature and the city this is the perfect location! It is within walking distance to Barton Springs and Lady Bird Lake, which were both a lot of fun. Paddleboards/kayak rentals also within walking distance, as well as a handful of restaurants and food trucks. In very close proximity to the city. There is also a walking/jogging path near by where you can go for miles. Recommendations in Austin: Terry Blacks BBQ, Amy's Ice Cream, The Speakeasy, the Segway capitol/ghost/bat tour.

Everything is labeled and clearly laid out, with an incredible amount of detail (much appreciated!). The location is perfect for neighborhood walks and exploring Zilker Park. Great Austin getaway
My husband and I stayed at the Park Place duplex while visiting family in South Austin. The location is ideal with great access to Barton Springs trail -- perfect for walking and jogging! The duplex is very clean and accessible. Very comfortable beds and stocked with all the essentials. The owners are awesome and very helpful. We have stayed at several of their properties over the years and have never had anything but an outstanding experience. Thanks again!

Perfect Location
This location was ideal for our visit! Located in a nice quiet neighborhood and close to the park, biking, down town and a short drive to South Congress. We had easy access to everything we wanted to experience in Austin.
We traveled with our 17 and 20 year old sons and the house was a perfect size for us. The living area has plenty of seating for movies and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Accessible and all inclusive!
We love our annual trip to Austin, and this year we had the pleasure of staying at this property. Everything was as described in the listing and more...it really is all the special little touches - shampoo/conditioner/body wash, toothbrush holders, makeup wipes...Owners even offered a bed rail and sleeping mat for our kiddos and an air popper popcorn maker! It made their trip :) It was also our first trip with our son’s wheelchair, and this condo really made it so easy with the ramp and even the roll in shower. Location also great being right next to Zilker. Cannot say enough great things about this place, and can not wait to return! Thank you, Cynthia!

Quiet Retreat in the Trees
We LOVED staying in this amazing duplex!
We stayed 3 nights and it was a great base to move our older son into his first apartment, for his sophomore year.
It was great to have easy free parking and we loved escaping the heat and traffic of Austin.
We enjoyed our coffee (that was provided) on the peaceful deck in the trees each morning.
We day tripped to Wimberley’s Blue Hole and Barton Springs and enjoyed using the beach towels, noodles, and cooler that were provided.
We made an evening of visiting the nearby Picnic food truck park and had delicious Thai and Venezuelan meals.
Hosts were very quick to respond to questions and very nicely mailed back a hat that was left behind.
It was a GREAT stay! Thank you!!

Fantastic visit to Austin
This is our first visit to Austin and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. The bungalow was amazing, we simply had everything provided for us, from cold glasses in the freezer for our arrival to makeup removal wipes, shower gel and shampoo, couldn’t rate this highly enough. If we visit Austin again I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
Sitting on the veranda couldn’t be more relaxing and actually saw a hummingbird which was a first.
A visit to Barton Springs pool was amazing, the State Capitol building very impressive and Umlauf sculpture gardens was somewhere we’d recommend too.
Cynthia, Peach & Jay have a great place and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here.

Awesome Location, Well-Furnished
Fantastic location within 10-15 mins walk of Zilker Met Park and Barton Springs. The house was one of the best-equipped house we’ve ever stayed at, full of essentials, especially for kids. The Reynolds were extremely responsive, accommodating and helpful. I will definitely recommend this place and stay there again when we visit Austin in the future.
