My family & I gave this house another try this year (because of the pool) even after I expressed my issues to the REALTY very throughly about how it wasn’t clean last year, fan didn’t work, etc etc etc. Still found the home rush cleaned. (Hair in all bathroom drawers & corners that we didn’t even shower in one of the 2 bathrooms of the home, feet started to turn black on hardwood flooring, literally piles of swept debris or crumbs scattered all over as if someone took an old vacuum over it to clean up piles) I had to inspect beds to make sure they were clean and sure enough coffee spots spilt on the master king sheets, I washed the sheets and the dirty spot came out.., which would signify unclean… Upon arrival had to ask them to move an over flowing trash bin out from the CENTER of the driveway as it blocked entrance.. I asked if they could drop off a proper mop for the home. So I could mop. (Even though they asked if I wanted a cleaner to come by) Since it wasn’t mopped upon arrival. One little square section I swiffer mopped came up BLACK. We took pictures.. the pool wasn’t clean when we got there but kids didn’t care—until my 4 year old got a terrible cold the next day & the 8 year old got swimmers ear within the 4 days there. Dampened our trip. The surrounding ground of the pool/putt putt area IS DANGEROUS. There are hundreds of sand spurs in BUSHELS. I’ve never seen anything like it. My poor son ran out there to retrieve a pool ball, bloody mess! I’d write more but…….

Wonderful property. Great to come back to house after going to beach and get into a wonderful pool. Pool lights at night was a plus!

The house is in a great location. The kids loved the pool and the garage game room was a huge hit. We would stay here again!

3 Weeks on the Shores is amazing! The house is very spacious and accommodating. It is exactly as described. It is in a beautiful, clean community and pretty close to beach access. It is stocked with all of the every day needs in the kitchen (dishes, silverware, utensils, pots and pans, etc.) Our family enjoyed the pool, hot tub and several gaming options in the garage and board games. The only little hiccup we experienced was ants in the “kid” bedroom. Most of them were dead, so they must be treating the problem, but there was several. Overall, it is a great home and I highly recommend!!

We loved this property! It's an easy walk to the beach, all sorts of fun touches~ ring toss, darts, etc in the finished garage, great places to sit outside, wonderful pool and hot tub. My only disappointment is how much the rates increase in 2024 which probably will make it out of reach for me to rent again.

We stayed at the property in the off season. The weather was a bit windy and rainy but the property still offered plenty of entertainment with the pool, the nice living room, the garage with games and the great location (short walk to the beach, quiet neighborhood for walks and quick drive to Duck/Kitty Hawk). It’s not specifically set up for kids but we had no problems with our 3 month and our two year old. Would definitely recommend.

Well at first the place was great, until the longer we stayed the more small inconvenience issues we found.. no service at the home and we all have Verizon and straight talk. Internet went out CONSISTENTLY causing the TVs not to work. Tech didn’t even come out until the day before our departure upstairs, naturally, was too hot so we attempted to get top floor fan to work, it wouldn’t, tech who came out said it was shot. Things falling apart in the kitchen. House was actually clean at arrival but the middle floor bathroom vent and shower curtain has a TON of mold on it. That’s like a 15$ fix? Just fix it! 🤷‍♀️ Possible tetanus shot needed for cooking on the grill on top deck…. My husband refused to cook on it once he saw it.. fireplace is advertised yet can’t use it until October… the bunk bed room with trundle looks different in advertising picture.. we asked for a late check out and told that wasn’t an option.. even though we left on a Thursday.. and the washer stoped working the night/morning prior to departure.., so I went home with a trash bag full of soaked clothing in the trunk.. unfortunately once the rest of the family showed up, it was a nightmare! We could hear EVERY step taken AND the sliding doors sounded like nails on a chalk board!!! Whenever a toilet flushed on top level, everyone heard it on second level.. I’m really not over exaggerating!! It was ridiculous.. they also didn’t have pictures of the TINY bathrooms in the home on the listing .. would not have booked had I saw that set up. There is no MASTER bath/bed room.. we bought our own sheets after the first night, the ones provided were so HOT. This house would be FANTASTIC with lots of maintenance issues addressed, and for no more than 4 people in the home!!!
