With Classic Coastal Cape good looks, Sandy Bottoms is in the heart of the Island on Ridge Road - close to everywhere you want to be, but tucked away in its own little peaceful nook. Whether you love to spend your days at the Beach, or wandering through Shops in the Historic District, you’ll find yourself in just the right place. As you enter this lovely home, you’ll feel the warmth of a true family home - not just a place to lay your head at night. Relax in the Living Area after a day of exploring Assateague National Seashore, home of our famous Wild Ponies, and enjoy Flat Screen Streaming TV and Free WiFi. There’s plenty of comfy seating for all, and even a table and chairs for family game night, or extra dining space. Wandering out the French Doors onto the Deck, you’ll find colorful Adirondacks calling your name, overlooking the peaceful backyard. What a great place to slip out to with your morning coffee - just listen to the Tree Frogs, or Peepers, as we fondly call them, chirping. You may even see the neighbors' horses and pony in their pasture, ducks, ibis and all kinds of fowl. And there's a refreshing Outdoor Shower for rinsing off sandy feet - or Sandy Bottoms! Down the Hall, the Chef in your family will adore the spacious Well-Equipped Kitchen with all you need to make mealtime a bay breeze. With lots of space, Stainless Steel Appliances, and every gadget you could need, dining in will bill a treat. The spacious Dining Room has plenty of seating for all, or wander out to the backyard and dine Al-Fresco in the Picnic Area. Perhaps grill the Fresh Catch of the Day - which hopefully you caught - or maybe some Local Crabs. We just left today from the island, and it always makes us sad when we have to leave, but this time we also hated leaving this wonderful house!!! It is super clean and very spacious!!! The beds were nice and comfy!!! The central air and ceiling fans were awesome!!! It has a great playroom which my grandsons loved!!! The ponies in the neighbor’s yard out back was a nice treat!!! I honestly can’t say enough good things about this house!!! Check it out…you won’t be disappointed!!! 👍👍👍😀😀😀

The property was extremely clean and very well laid out. Plenty of room made our stay of 6 very comfortable. Loved the nature that was everywhere and the central location of the home made it super easy to hit all of our favorite spots. Can’t wait to return!

House was great for our family vacation. Backyard was private with horses coming to fence, deer and numerous wild birds. Very convenient to all the island.

We had a great time at this house! It is in a great location, centrally located to be able to explore the town and also to explore neighboring Assateague Island. We were also able to go on a boat tour which was only about 10 minutes away from this house. House had plenty of room and had lots of wildlife outside to look at. We really enjoyed vacationing here!

Not the nicest but good value for the money. We choose this because all bedrooms offered privacy for 8 guests. The house “sleeps 10”.

This property was great overall, nice and quiet plus plenty of room for guests! The outdoor shower is a plus, it helped with our disabled daughter. One negative is the step down on the deck. . . My mom and mother in law both fell. Other than that it is a great place!

We thoroughly loved our stay. The house is wonderful! Everyone had their own space but there were great gathering areas as well. We enjoyed dinner together in the dining room, played foosball in the playroom (and pong!), and relaxed while watching movies in the family room. The deck is great for visiting and stargazing. The house is an easy bike ride to the main street and, if you're feeling more adventurous, the beach.
