Well appointed, spacious cottage, located south of Bayfield on a quiet dead end road. 3 comfortable bedrooms, with clothes cabinets or drawers. No working AC, fans available. Bathroom was spacious with tub/shower equipped with grab bar and large countertop. Spacious kitchen with all necessary dishes/utensils/appliances. Water is drinkable. Nice front porch and large deck at the back of the cottage. BBQ and Fire pit available. Beach access across the road, a short distance from the cottage but accessibility is limited by a pathway with a steep set of stairs and no step onto the beach from the last step. While we were there, a tree stump was placed as the last step down to the beach. The beach is very nice with a sandy bottom beyond the rocky shoreline and private for the cottagers on that part of the road. Bring water shoes. Cottage itself is not accessible for persons with mobility issues. We travelled with seniors and the challenge is that there is no handrail at either cottage entrance, even though there are only a few steps to navigate. It was challenging. We also had a small issue with not having a working light in the dining room which we alerted our host Jennifer to, on the first day. Jennifer was quick to respond to our concern, however, the light was only installed and working 4 days later and after taking up 8 hours of our time to be at the cottage during the inspections/installation. She offered an apology for our inconvenience. Overall, the cottage was really enjoyable and the location was great to access Bayfield, Goderich, Grand Bend and the Pinery.

It was very clean, beds very comfortable. Cozy as in you felt comfortable there, good size cottage. Everything you need is there. Jennifer was amazing to deal with made us feel very welcome. We thought by the pictures it was on the water side but it is across the road with access to the beach. The only complaint we all had was no comfy cushions on the chairs on the deck, wood chairs only. The chairs around the fire pit are unsafe at this point, slats missing, old wooden chairs would be very uncomfortable if in good condition so we didn't have a fire. Definitely 5+ stars with cushions and new chairs around the firepit. I would definitely recommend this cottageto my friends and anyone else.

We stayed at the cottage for a week and it was a very relaxing and good experience. The cottage is located 7 minutes from Bayfield so it was very easy to run to get groceries and explore. It’s 20 minutes to the beaches at Grand Bend or Godrich in the opposite direction. The cottage was very clean and very very cute! Overall we had a great family trip.

Beautiful cottage experience!
Beautiful cottage experience!
My family had the opportunity to rent this cottage for a week in the end of May. We were visiting the area to celebrate my Grandfather’s 100th birthday. This cottage was the most perfect place for my young family including a baby. It was extremely clean, very spacious and had everything you could possibly need. The farm view from the back is beautiful. I even caught the sunrise over the fields one morning. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone.
