Location is perfect, very close to Victoria falls.

Brilliant staff (great experience with James the porter, Chewe and Nduba in the restaurant and everyone else too, and the reception staff too. Wonderful housekeeping ladies. So attentive to detail. Also an amazing location
No daily buffet dinner anymore so no opportunity to try different things. Last time I was here it was the best part! So I was so glad to see it on the website but it turns out the website is not up to date.
A great experience anyway. We will be back for sure

The breakfast

Location was amazing. Short walk to Victoria Falls and the Bridge. Room was nice. They did give us a room overlooking the gardens. Breakfast was great.
There was a very large conference on for the 2 days we were there. It was busy, noisy and we couldn't get a sunbed because the conference clients were lounging around the pool (not using the pool), despite a clear notice to say residents only. Staff were very unconcerned! Avani must tell people who have booked if any circumstances may affect the stay.
Also the menu for dinner was limited, some items not available and it was at best what I would describe as "pub" food. We went to the Royal Livingstone to eat where decent dining was available
