The Space:

Two-story Craftsman on a corner lot in a small East Asheville neighborhood, 3 minutes off I-40. You'll park 2 cars in the driveway (slight slope, no street parking) and climb 6 steps to the front porch. Living, kitchen, dining, and a powder room are on the main level. All three bedrooms and both full baths are upstairs; there is no bedroom on the main level.



Living: open floor plan with seating for 6, a 55-inch Roku TV, ceiling fans, throw blankets, board games, and a shelf of children's books. One family wrote that there was "plenty of space to gather together."



Kitchen and dining: full kitchen with granite counters, stainless appliances, and a dishwasher, stocked well enough that one family cooked Thanksgiving here. Coffee bar with a combo drip and K-cup machine, coffee and spices included.



Sleeping:

Bedroom 1: king bed, ensuite bath, upstairs

Bedroom 2: queen bed, upstairs

Bedroom 3: queen bed, upstairs

Sound machines and nightlights in every bedroom.



Baths: both full baths were remodeled in 2026 with marble-look tile, matte black fixtures, and oak double vanities. The king bedroom's ensuite has a walk-in glass shower with a bench; the hall bath has a tub-shower combo. Powder room on the main level. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hair dryers in each.



Outdoor: the backyard is fully fenced and private, an open lawn for the dog with no furniture. The front porch is private, with seating and a mountain view.



Families and pets: Pack 'n Play, children's books and toys, dog bowls. Pets welcome, $85 per pet. Bears visit the neighborhood, so trash stays inside and dogs stay supervised outside.



Laundry and Wi-Fi: washer and dryer with scent-free detergent. Wi-Fi throughout.



Location: 10 to 15 minutes to downtown, 10 to the Biltmore Estate entrance, 7 to the Blue Ridge Parkway visitor center, 6 to Ingles, 9 to Hopey & Co.

Guest Access:

You'll have the entire house and the fenced backyard to yourselves. Park 2 cars in the driveway; street parking is not permitted in the neighborhood, and there is no space for a third car. Self check-in with a Yale smart lock; your code arrives before check-in. Six steps lead up to the front porch, and there is no step-free entry. Check-in is at 4 pm, checkout at 10 am. Early check-in and late checkout are available on request when the calendar allows.



The Neighborhood:

East Asheville, in a small neighborhood 3 minutes off I-40 at exit 55. Tunnel Road's shops and restaurants are the nearest errand run: Ingles is 6 minutes, Hopey & Co is 9. Downtown Asheville is 10 to 15 minutes by car, the Biltmore Estate entrance is 10, and the Blue Ridge Parkway visitor center is 7. The neighborhood streets are hilly, and you'll drive for dinner and errands.



Getting Around:

You'll want a car; dinner, errands, the Parkway, and trailheads are all a drive. The house is 3 minutes from I-40 at exit 55, 10 to 15 minutes to downtown Asheville, 10 to the Biltmore Estate entrance, and 7 to the Blue Ridge Parkway visitor center. Park 2 cars in the driveway; street parking is not permitted in the neighborhood. Uber and Lyft both serve this side of town, and past guests have used them for downtown dinners and brewery nights without trouble; expect longer waits late at night. For airport pickups, book ahead in the app or use a local pre-scheduled service such as AVL Ride.



Other Things to Note:

- Pets are welcome with an $85 fee per pet. Add your pets to the guest count when you book so the fee is included in your reservation. If the booking form won't accept the right number of pets, message me and I'll add it.

- Bears visit this neighborhood. Keep trash inside the house and stay with your dog when it is in the yard.

- Parking is limited to 2 cars in the driveway. Street parking is not permitted.

- All three bedrooms and both full baths are upstairs.

- A doorbell camera at the front door records the porch and driveway.

- This is a residential street; quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am. No parties or events, and no smoking.
