Everything was perfect.. the place was an excellent "home base" and all amenities were close. Thank you Deb for allowing us to stay at your place....

I try to be fair but I have to give this 2 stars due to the location and a few other factors. I booked this for a over a week thinking it was quaint and situated in a quiet residential area . Not so. This is located on a very busy and noisy street in an industrial area close to a major highway routes. Trucks & Buses rumbled by at all hours . It is close to major shopping and hwy access if this is what you are looking for. The neighbourhood didn't feel safe to me . You need a car to get to most places. It was also a heat wave where the temperatures were 35 - 37 C inside for a good part of the week and no Air Conditioning, only an old fan. The bedroom window, which faces onto the driveway, did not have a screen on it and because of the heat it had to be left wide open during the night. I purchased a second fan after the host indicated they had only one. The heat , noise , traffic and neighbourhood didn't make for a comfortable stay. BUT -The host is nice and welcoming and the place is clean and well laid out. It is close to Elk Falls and McIvor Lake and big box stores. I stayed out most of the time due to the heat , traffic and noise . Maybe better suited for a short stay in cooler temperatures.

Loved the Little Yellow House! This house is adorable and a perfect place to stay if you want your own space. The full kitchen was great, private backyard, house was clean and comfortable. Street is very busy during the day but quiet at night. It felt like home rather than a hotel room.

The property is quaint and the house charming. The owner is supremely pleasant and quite accommodating. Would definitely recommend staying here.
