There are quite a few other seaside areas within 15-minutes drive ranging from small rocky coves to a marina and restaurants at Cabo Roig. Immediately to the North of Torrevieja Town, which has a very large marina and two beaches, is Guardamar. This is the beginning of more than ten miles of wide flat sandy beach that seems to go all the way to Alicante. Shopping: There are several places to shop within a few kilometres.
