Chamonix is well-known for the wide variety of both winter and summer activities. It is a centre for skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, sledging and ice skating. In the summer there are numerous options including hiking and biking trails through stunning mountain scenery, rock climbing at Lac du Gaillands (5-minute drive), and horse riding at the Chamonix Equestrian Centre (11 minutes drive) mountaineering and paragliding. For even more excitement head to the Accro Adventure Park (5-minute drive) where you can climb and zip-line through high trees. If you are looking for something more relaxing then the QC Terme Spa (11-minute drive) might be a better option. Geneva airport is a 1 hour 10-minute drive from the apartment, whilst Les Bosson\'s railway station is just a 16-minute walk away. From there the Mont Blanc Express offers free rail services throughout the Chamonix valley.
