We stayed over New Years for 5 days. About 10 days too short.
Well appointed, cosy. Brilliant for self catering. Close enough to the town. Lovely walks.
We’ve stayed in many places in Wales and Cornwall. This was just so nice. As Londoners it’s further away but worth the trip.
We had 2 families here, plenty of space and enough room for the adults to get away, I mean allow the kids room for independent play.
Hope we can revisit in the near future.

Spent a week with a teenager, parents and grandparents and dogs in this lovely property. House was lovely and cosy with everything you could need. Location was good - if difficult to find in the dark initially - with everything in the village within a short(ish) walk. The house is towards the top of a short but steep road, so anyone with issues walking may find this difficult (the same is the case for the decking in the garden).
The only issue we had was with the broadband, although this was due to issues with the mast and provider - but as per the blurb it's not advertised as super fast. One of the downsides of the internet issue was issues with the TV as this is internet TV rather than normal TV - but who goes away to watch TV anyway?
Garden had little use, but anyone with dogs needs to know it's enclosed, but there is a big open gate to get the cars in, plus there's loads of wildlife, which can be 'distracting' to even the best trained 4-legged friends.
Overall a great stay, nice local walks alongside the loch and a relaxing week.

Fabulous accomodation with fantastic views.
Great base to explore the area or to stay put and relax.
The upper villa was very clean and well organised, Furniture and beds were very comfortable. Very homely and instantly felt comfortable. Log burner was great to give that cosy feeling in the evening - although a supply of kindling and smaller logs that can fit the fire would help (we did not find an axe but managed)
Kitchen is well equipped (suggest oven gloves though)
TV and wifi both great - note the pasword has changed - found new one in the welcome pack in the kitchen and tv remote batteries were dead - new ones bought at the local shop so no issues.
Dog friendly which is a bonus.
Garden decking area is very nice if you get the weather to use it.
Word of warning - if you are looking to eat out nearby, book well ahead - we didn't and EVERYWHERE was fully booked.
Overall would thoroughly recommend - we had a great weekend!

Fabulous apartment
We had a wonderful few days break and really enjoyed the apartment. It has great views across to Bute and is approx 20min easy walk to Tighnabruaich where there are a couple of cafés and hotels to eat & drink.
Kim was a terrific host and kindly let us check out slightly later, which gave us the chance to enjoy the local walks one last time.
All in a wonderful stay and thoroughly recommended.
