Hotel Chapala Country

The check-in process was smooth, and afterward the concierge took me on a tour of the property. She showed me all the amenities; the room was spacious, and the beds had firm mattresses and pillows to choose from. The AC and TV both worked. Then she explained the pool and breakfast schedules, and told me how to reach the office if I needed any assistance. The heated pool was occupied, but the unheated pool was empty, which is perfect for exercising. Both have lounge chairs and regular chairs around them. The property is a decent size.

I was disappointed to learn there is no on-site restaurant, though they do serve breakfast. The concierge gave me a takeout menu during check-in, in case I wanted something to eat. One interesting fact about the room is that the wall plugs are all 2-prong (no hole for a grounding post)
