House Pio IX is a quiet and peaceful apartment, ready to welcome 6 / 8 people. Located about 2 km from San Pietro has a strategic location from which you can reach in minutes the underground (500 mt. Stop 'Cornelia') and the public bus station(50 mt.) Also is easily reachable by car . A few steps away is the park of Pineto considered one of the most 'beautiful green areas of the capital, some time ago arrived until Vatican walls and there were furnaces that provided material for the Factory of Saint Peter. The apartment is about 85 square meters, located on the second floor of a building with lift, composed by 3 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and 2 balconies, surrounded by restaurants, pizzerias, shops, pubs and many other services. In the surroundings you can find the Policlinico A. Gemelli, the Center Conferences Ergife and Dermatological Institute dell'Immacolata IDI. House Pius IX is ideal for those who wishes a quiet accommodation where you can reach quickly and easily the center of Rome.

We love the apartment, big and clean rooms. I especially loved the fact that one room has its own bathroom, and well stocked. We appreciated the nice touch of leaving us with a fresh loaf of bread and the jelly. And the market, what a great surprise! We brought fresh groceries and the prices are affordable. Also, the area is pretty close to the center of the town, very easy to reach by metro and bus. I will definitely recommend it to friends and in case we go back, would love to stay tjere again

We had a lovely stay is this very clean and comfortable apartment. The host Gabriella met us on our arrival and was very helpful explaining the apartment and area. Gabreilla provided us with breakfast provisions too! It was a relatively short walk to the Metro station to explore Rome. We felt privileged to have stayed in this apartment and have a more authentic experience of life in Rome.

Thé apartment is in a safe neighborhood, shopping and restaurants close by. Metro station very close. Apartment had everything we needed. Very clean. We appreciated the AC. Highly recommended for visiting Rome.

This is a wonderful 3 br/2bath condo outside of Rome but close to bus and metro. The host, Gabriella, is just fabulous, treating us with much kindness. She came and cleaned the place and replaced the towels and sheets already through our stay which was greatly appreciated. We stayed for two weeks in July and loved the air conditioning and local outside market, just down the street. This is a true gem and we can’t wait to stay again!

Our Host Gabriella was so amazing, the apartment was clean and bright, she left lots of breakfast goodies for us all and whenever we needed help she answered immediately and went above to help us. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

This apartment is a comfortable and roomy oasis away from the heat and crowds of Rome! Gabriella is an amazing host and our teens loved the apartment! Huge thanks to our hosts!

The host was very informative and helpful on our arrival. Everything clearly explained and lots of advice on nearby services. The apartment was immaculately presented and plenty of room for a family of 4. It is a 15min walk to the closest metro station and 15 min to centre of London. If you are looking for accommodation at less than prices for the centre of Rome this is a great option.

Really good location where you are not in the busy/ touristy center of Rome but have access to lots of places both by foot and using public transport. There is a daily open market around the corner and a couple of different stores just a couple minutes walk from the house. House was really nice, clean and with all the amenities that were listed. Had a wonderful stay and Gabriella was really nice and helpful. Great place to stay!

Missed a good livingroom, and one of the beds was not good, it was hard and very noisy. Odherwise it was very good service.

4 adults and 2 kids comfortably stayed here for 9 days. The bedrooms are spacious, the kitchen is the gathering spot and the 2 balconies are great for drying clothes. Gabriella is an exceptional hostess leaving enough breakfast and bathroom items for our stay and she found a doctor to make a house call for my sick grandson and arranged for cabs for the airport. She is very responsive.
The metro is a 7 minute walk and will take you into Roman sights in 30-45 minutes.

The property is in excellent condition and situated close to all amenities. It is on a quiet side street but very close to a busy neighbourhood. It is also close to the metro and a local bus terminus. Gabriella met us at the property when we arrived and could not have been more helpful. We would use this property again if we come back to Rome.

Gabriella was an amazing host. She went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of. The apartment has everything you will ever need to enjoy your stay. The complimentary breakfast basket was like a gift from the heavens the day of our late check in. The walk to the metro is quick and easy and the neighborhood had a local outdoor market as well as Conad supermarket close by. Should I ever be in Rome again this will be the place I stay.

This property was perfect for our family of 4. Gabriella and Francesco were amazing hosts!! Great communication and were very quick to respond. They helped us a few times specifically when the metro station was down and taxi service took a strike position and we needed to get to our scheduled event Although you are 30/45 minutes or so from the airport - you are walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, market, bus/train stations. Thanks again for being such great hosts and the hospitality ❤️🇮🇹! Certainly recommend this property.

A Great Apartment
This was a great find. Apartment was clean. It looked better in reality then in the pictures. The bedrooms were spacious.Gabriella had helpful extras, including adapters, a wonderful basket full of breakfast food, and kitchen pots and pans that met EVERY need. The neighborhood was safe, and provided everything we needed. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for the wonderful apartment experience

Great Apartment and location.
The apartment was spacious and clean. The location is approximately 10 min walk from the train station and total commute of 25/30 minutes to the main attractions using public transit. The neighborhood is very nice and there is a great farmers market less then five minutes to get amazing produce and meat. It was great staying out of the touristy area and meeting the local people. Gabriella was gracious and very quick to respond to all questions or concerns. I will definetly stay again.

Large, clean apartment close to metro
This was a really nice space. Gabriella kindly provided breakfast food which we really appreciated. She also picked us up from the airport for a very reasonable fee and gave us some tips on how to get around the city easily. Definitely would book again!

Beautiful Apartment!!
We had such a great time on our recent trip to Rome. The apartment was very nice and Gabriella was so helpful!! Everything was a short walk from the apartment. Restaurants, metro, markets. We got into Rome later in the afternoon and Gabriella recommended a restaurant just down the street that was fabulous. She also had food in the apartment for us to prepare breakfast. She gave us maps and instructions on how to find the metro and the markets. We appreciated her thoughtfulness and we would love to stay again!

Perfect!
If you are going to Rome this is the place to stay. It was very clean and we felt like part of the neighborhood. The apartment is plenty big for up to 6 people. It has 3 spacious bedrooms with 2 balconies and 2 bathrooms.. Washing machine was nice. Has everything you need. We cooked in at night to save money. Close to the train and shopping. Very good bakery around the corner for breads and sweets. Close to grocery and a fresh market with fruits, vegetables and meats every day on the street behind apartment. Saved a lot of money vs a hotel. Great!

Wonderful apartment
The apartment is very open and airy. It was a pleasure to stay there. We hopped on to the metro to get to many historic sites. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

A property well kept, clean, spacious and furnished with all the necessary (and more) to live in.
My wife and I spent ten days in this lovely apartment. The landlady, Gabriella, was very attentive to all our needs and made sure that when we arrived the apartment was spotlessly clean and welcoming. Unusually, we found in the kitchen a huge basket full of cakes, biscuits and many other tasty items of food. There was tea, coffee, milk, water and lots more. The two bathrooms had lovely freshly cleaned towels and spare toilet rolls. In the entrance there was a table with maps, books and other relevant information. The metro station is very near and, since it was the first stop after the beginning of the line, we were able to find a seat and enjoy the few stops before getting to the centre. I had planned to cook at home but in the end we ate out most of the time. Restaurants were plentiful and reasonably priced. As the weather was perfect for all our stay, we had one of the best holidays ever.

24 hours supermarket is on the way from the subway station, which is 10 min walk away.
I would recommend to everyone, who prefer calm and comfortable accommodation, not far away from crowded touristic center.

Excellent accommodations!
We stayed in this beautiful apartment for nearly two weeks in August and September 2015 and we loved it. It is so clean, bright, and comfortable. The balcony's were especially nice on the warm late-summer nights and there was often a breeze blowing.
The neighborhood feels very authentic and there are many shops and grocery stores and it is also nice to be able to walk down to the market on the next street over and buy fresh items each morning. The Metro Roma is somewhat far away from the apartment, but it shouldn't be a problem for most travelers.
Gabriella, the owner, went above and beyond and made us feel very welcome! She was so helpful and it was really nice to have her assistance.
Overall, this apartment really made our stay in Rome all the better and I certainly recommend it!

First time in Italy from USA
Gabreilla was a wonderful host providing her phone number in case we needed assistance. First time in Italy and we do not speak Italian so we were a little worried regarding the communication side of things. We found the apartment exactly as the photos show. I would certainly stay again in this apartment. However you need to be aware the Metro is quite a walk for those that have any type of handicap. We loved the daily market just behind the apartment!

The Apartment is spotless...
The Apartment is spotlessly clean and is very comfortable. There are three good-size bedrooms. There are numerous televisions and two large balconies where you can dine outside. Air con machines in all the bedrooms, which are very effective. The owner was very helpful and very easy to deal with and contact.
The apartment is on the second floor and there is a lift.
The supermarkets are ten minutes walk. A good pizza restaurant is 2 mins and the main street where there are many shops and cafes. 5 minutes to a park , playground and outside exercise equipment. Metro is ten minutes walk. Bus stop is 2 minutes away. Internet & Phone Cafe 5 minutes away.
We would be delighted to stay at this apartment in the future.

"This wonderful apartment has everything on wishes for to make a stay in Rome a very pleasant experience. Th location is excellent, in a residential area away from tourism but very well connected by metro and bus. Close-by one finds many shops, a supermarket and nice restaurants, as well as a daily market (very cheap!!). The apartment itself was extremely clean, in a good condition and has all one needs. Parking a car can be difficult in the area though. The owners were extremely kind and even came to pick us up from the airport against a reasonable fee. They provided a nice basket of essentials (coffee, biscuit, bread) to start off our stay without having to run to the shop first thing in the morning. I can recommand this apartment to everybody immediately."

"Our party consisted of 7 adults, 1 child and 1 infant. I would completely recommend this property to potential renters. It's a 10 minute walk to Cornelia for the metro or buses. It's quiet and residential and the open air market just around the corner on Via Cardinale Oreglia provides the finest of fresh fruit and vegetables. If cooking at home isn't your thing, there's a small restaurant at the end of the street. The owners are very friendly and for a reasonable fee will provide a taxi service from and to the airport."
