The home is located just south of the Virginia Beach Boardwalk in the seaside community of Sandbridge Beach. This 5,000 square foot residence is highlighted by an expansive two-story great room, full-service kitchen, an enormous dining hall that boasts a custom-built 15-foot marble dining table that seats eighteen guests, eight spacious bedrooms including the grand primary suite with its private sundeck and adjoining bath suite with a two-person jacuzzi tub, a swimming pool with an adjoining brick grilling patio with a bathhouse, over 2,500 square feet of outdoor decking, a fenced yard, plus ample off-street parking. 'Pelican Haven' is indeed a mini-resort of huge proportions; one of the finest residences in all of Sandbridge Beach! THINGS TO KNOW The pool will be open from late April through early/mid-October. This property is managed by Vacasa Virginia LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

The best part of this home is the giant family room. The house was probably really nice when it was built in 1990; however, it needs a significant overhaul with deep cleaning and possibly renovations. Lots of cobwebs, bugs, kitchen window broken and kitchen sink faucet was difficult to keep from dripping. One evening we had water dripping from the ceiling in the dining area (below a bathroom and HVAC unit), but when I reported this to the office, no one even responded. We had to search for the washer/dryer and found it strangely located in one of the downstairs bedrooms. The location is a quick walk to the beach and the sofas, large TV, and long dining table were great for group activities. There was also plenty of space, but we definitely would not stay in this place again.

Good location. Short walk to the beautiful beach. Spacious dining room, great family room. Great dining room table, seating 18. Large and functional well-equipped kitchen with two refrig's, two dishwashers. Nice pool and deck. Conversion of garage into a game room is a good idea, but air conditioning is needed.

This home was perfect for our extended family vacation. The kitchen and shared space was large and comfortable. While the bedrooms were private and quiet! We loved the outside and pool space as well and the proximity to the beach was super convenient. We ‘ll be back again next year !!

I stayed here with my large family including 3 generations. This house worked out really well for us. The layout of the house is nice. With bedrooms on multiple levels it accommodated the late sleepers and early risers without disturbing anyone. We especially enjoyed the deck and spent a lot of time outside enjoying leisurely mornings with coffee and converstaion.

Open common areas and plenty of bedrooms. Not a far walk from the beach either. Beach was not very crowded. Possible idea for future could be to clean up backyard a little (outside of the pool deck) to open it up more for use of lawn. Overall a very nice place!

Definitely not as clean as I would’ve liked, floors turned my feet black after my first hour in there barefooted. Then there was definitely a dead rodent smell when we got there. When I told the woman at the property management company she just told me that there wasn’t one and then proceeded to ask me if they can send someone there during my stay to patch the hole outside by the balcony where birds were getting in. I personally liked the house and our stay, I just hope they make sure their cleaning team does their job and also be more accommodating/understanding of any guests complaints in the future. I understand there was a problem (a bird/birds got into a hole in the siding) which is unlikely to be a ongoing issue but I hope the management team wouldn’t just dismiss my complaint. I hope this reaches the actual owners of the property because I’m sure they’re paying for the management of this property which includes the cleaning of it.

This was our second, and unfortunately last stay here. Our group has grown too large and we will have to get a bigger home next year. We love this house. Its a great value. We love the large family room and the giant dining room table. That's where we played bingo, Catch Phrase, LCR and blackjack every night. It may be time to replace the older AC unit. It was difficult to keep cool in the August heat. We would gladly rent this home again and if our group shrinks we will be back. Thanks for a great week!

It is large and on three levels. Bedrooms are away from living room and kitchen to minimize noise.

Vacation rental in a Fantastic location. 1 Min walk to beach. Comes with a wonderful pool. Great Customer Service Cleanliness, not so good. Home is large, and plenty of space, but needs updating. Spent the first day of arrival cleaning the house again as it was poorly done. Went through cans of Lysol and disinfectants. Some hair left in various bathrooms, urine stains in the toilet, dirt in the inside house trash can, fridge dirty, mold and dirt in various crevices, dirty floors, stairs, and hand rails. Old beds. Unfortunately, i can't say there were any additional measures taken for a "COVID-19" clean.
