Open the blinds early, brew a pot of coffee, and take a seat in the rocking chair on your oceanfront deck to catch the sunrise before your day officially begins. If you've brought the family pup to this dog-friendly home, a walk along the beach might be in order. Head back inside as the rest of your group wakes up and starts preparing breakfast. You’ve got a full suite of appliances, ample counter space, and all the gadgets you need to make anything from eggs to Eggos. When it’s time to eat, grab a seat at one of two dining tables or the breakfast bar inside, or slide those double doors open and sit at the picnic table on the deck with the salty breeze in your hair. Stow the dishes in the dishwasher and head out to explore the Outer Banks, or just make your way to the beach for a lazy day on the sand. In the evening, a comfortable seating area and a TV with cable offer an area for everyone to relax. Downstairs, you’ll find all four bedrooms. The main suite offers a king bed, a TV, an en-suite bathroom, and access to a lower deck. Another bedroom features a queen bed, flatscreen, en suite bathroom, and deck access as well; another bedroom features a comfy queen, and the final bedroom offers a pair of twin beds and a flatscreen as well. End the day as you began, on your lovely deck, this time watching the stars rise over the ocean. Don't stay up too late though – you don't want to miss that sunrise. THINGS TO KNOW There is a pirate-themed kids bedroom with a trunk of toys available. There is a luggage lift (Stair Tamer) available for guest use. This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

It is a great little cottage on the beach for a winter getaway. We had trouble with the breaker going off and getting into the house, but the property manager via text was very helpful and got us the information we needed.

This home is a nature lover’s paradise located right between pea island and the national seashore! Sunrise on the beach and sunsets over the sound, check out the Salvo day use area for prime viewing less than 10 min down the road! Kitchen is well equipped and our pup made himself right at home.

We had a very nice stay at this rental. The house was very clean and comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked with high quality cookware, dishes, etc. The ocean view was excellent from both the first and second floors. Still Waters will be on the top of our list to return to again!!

My family had an excellent Thanksgiving at Still Waters. The location was excellent, the house and kitchen were well equipped with everything we needed. Communication with Vacasa was prompt and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

The front row seats ocean view from this home is incredible and the home is very comfortably appointed. The kitchen has absolutely everything you need to cook anything you want! There is a handy foot wash and shower on ground level so you don't have to track it too much sand, all of the beds are comfortable and the AC works perfectly. There are thoughtful touches such as a multi-charger for all of your phones, binoculars, and even a record player and some records and lots of puzzles and books supplied by the homeowner. If we could have changed our reservation for next year to this house we would have done so, unfortunately Vacasa will not allow that

Pee stained mattress, food crusted blankets, screens with head-sized holes, roof leaks into livingroom. Sliding door to porch in king room doesn’t open. Board on exterior stairs broken and hidden with a rug posing a safety hazard, broken coffee pot flooded counter top, grill crusted with greasy food, clothes and trash under house, filthy stained carpets. Windows and sills dirty. Management has been unresponsive

We had a great stay at Stillwaters. The ocean front view can’t be beat. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean’s waves coming in through the open doors leading out to the deck with a beautiful ocean view was amazing. The top deck off the living area offered an even better view. The house was very comfortable for the six of us, including 3 teenage boys. We always stay on Hatteras because we love to get away from the bustle of the northern towns and just have some peace.
The kitchen had seemingly everything you could possibly need to cook a feast at first, but we realized it was missing some basic things like potholders, dishwasher soap and garbage bags (you get only the bad that is there when you arrive) which was kind of strange. Keep in mind you will need to bring or purchase literally anything you would need to cook. Even salt and pepper. There is a coffee maker that takes grounds or pods, no coffee is provided. This is not a complaint, just a heads up. You are also expected to vacuum and sweep before you leave which I find very off putting since we pay a pretty good cleaning fee. The floor was a little sandy when we arrived and I’m guessing that’s because it was left to previous tenants. All in all though we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Great location on the beach in Rodanthe. The house is a little dated, but the price was great and the house has everything you need for a family! Like everything in the OBX….stairs! Nice lift for coolers, bags, etc. We’d stay here again.

This house was more then we could have asked for. The view of the ocean is really great. The best is from the top deck!! It is set back one house length but with no house in front of you , you will love it! It truly is on the ocean! You only have to walk about 150-200 feet to set up a spectacular beach spot. The house offers everything you need and is very nice with the decor. There is only one complaint, and it is not with the house or the ocean view, it’s the cleaning company. The house in in structural order but it was not cleaned upon our arrival. And we are not picky people, but we spent about two hours vacuuming/sweeping and cleaning what should have been done. They did make the beds but that was it, there was food and dirt and sticky stains everywhere. They did give us the ok they were done cleaning , so we did not arrive prior. But still book this house, we were not let down and will book again!! But give yourself a little to clean upon arrival LOL !! Enjoy!

This is our second visit and I'm still in love. If you're on the fence about booking Still Waters just do it! The house is welcoming, peaceful and comfortable. Just bring your food, everything else you might need is there. If you go do your self the favor of going to the beach to watch the sunrise, it's an unforgettable experience. This might just become a yearly trip for our family, we love it that much.

The hot water failed and I contacted Vacasa. I was told to expect communication and help to remedy the problem. After waiting all day, I called Vacasa again , and they said they would contact the local office - and that I should update them in 1 hour. No one came and I reported this after one hour. Very bad maintenance help...

You can open the doors and hear the sounds of the ocean. The house is beautiful, and has everything you may need. We spent the visit enjoying time on the beach, and spending time as a family.

Really loved this location and the house! It was dog friendly and Vacasa (the property managing company) we’re super easy to work with and gave me no problems or fuss when my guests required service animals! The house was better in person and the views were great. The path to get beach access is right outside and the other neighbors were very friendly. Lots of people fishing, so seems like a popular spot for that as well. Also like the location of this house being basically beach front, without actually being in the water like many other NC properties - so we felt safe.
Washer and dryer on site right by the bedrooms and front door is great. And the kitchen is a little outdated, but everything else makes up for it. Also rooms are a bit small, but you get large beds and TVs in there as well. Only downside I’d say is the tv in one of the queen rooms and the upstairs living room were really outdated and it was hard to navigate the TVs. The tv in the king bedroom was fine.

Step out onto the upper back deck and have a picturesque view of the ocean. Plenty of seating and inside and out. Open concept common area. House was clean and kitchen was fully stocked
with any pot, pan, utensil, dishes or appliances needed. Beds were comfortable. Queen and full have access to the first floor deck again views of the ocean. Topping all of this was perfect weather ☀️🌊❤️

Our group of three adults and three children and one dog thoroughly enjoyed ourselves for our five night stay. There were a couple of items that needed minor repair, but overall the amenities and the provisions were quite satisfactory. The location relative to the beach was superb. I would highly recommend this property for a family vacation, and there is no question that we will definitely consider a return visit in the future.

The good news is that the location of the house is perfect. Also the layout, infrastructure (AC, plumbing etc.) all work. The views are wonderful. The bad news is that the house had not been cleaned when we go their at our check-in time and communicating with management to get this fixed was not easy. Very disappointing.

The house is pet friendly, has a cozy decor, air conditioning worked great during the heatwave. The lift is a great asset, we loved the multi charging station located in the kitchen and the flat screen televisions in the rooms. Great view of the sunrise on the beach.

We were new to the OBX and this was a perfect location for hanging out or exploring the Islands. Great beach views and access. Lots of interior and exterior space, lots of natural light and well furnished kitchen. We highly recommend!

Spectacular unobstructed views with the ocean just steps away! The cottage has everything you need: comfy beds, tv's, ample seating at the dinner table and a fully stocked kitchen including all the cookware you will need: waffle maker, coffee pot that both drips and uses pods, an electric fryer skillet, blender, and a nice charging station for electronics. Although not listed int he ad, there is an electric lift so no lugging everything up two flights of stairs. Everything was clean and fresh. The decks were nicely furnished and massive. Flatscreen TV's in all but one bedroom. There is a small charcoal grill on the property (think park style grill), so if you cook-out for a crowd, you may need to rent a large gas grill. The house is very cozy and comfortable and hit every need that we had. We can't wait to return! If you like jigsaw puzzles, try the "Coastal Shells" one, it's a challenge but all of the pieces are there and beautiful when completed!

We may bathe more than most people, doing so twice a day, and prefer not to use towels or washcloths twice before washing them. I ended up washing towels each evening and morning. For the most part the cleaning was ok. The house does allow pets, although we did not take a pet with us. Upon sitting on the furniture dark clothes had white pet hair on them. There were also empty drink bottles in a bedside table and some small pieces of trash in the kitchen floor when we arrived. Overall, the stay was nice. Nothing beats the peacefulness of the beach in the offseason.
