LAKE HAVEN LODGE is our Top Rated Arrowhead Lake Community House: 4 Bedroom lake view Pocono home. Across the street from the lake, and within easy walking distance of the beach and community island with pool and splash pad, boats for rent, picnic area, playground, sports courts, and more. The house has a game room, TVs and WiFi, fire pit, cornhole and other outdoor games, front deck to relax on, and more. This sprawling Lake-side lodge will feel like home with a fully loaded game room and relaxing front porch with lake view. Enjoy a nice evening fire by the lake with fire pit with plenty of seating for everyone. Take a ride in the Canoe from the marina. Enjoy TV in every bedroom and living room., and an outdoor backyard space set amongst the woods, patio table and with a propane grill and more! You'll have easy parking to avoid the car shuffling. The house is literally steps from the beach, community playground, pavilion, and more! IMPORTANT: starter packs of paper goods, toiletries, cleaning chemicals, soaps, detergents, sponges, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, tea, and other kitchen necessities ARE all included with your stay. Sheets and towels ARE included too. Your pets (up to 3) are also welcome with paid pet fee. Inside the ~1,600 square foot house you will find four bedrooms - all enclosed with doors - no dens or other spaces pretending to be bedrooms. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs - 1 with king beds and three queen bedrooms - with brand new comfortable mattresses! This lake house has it all - a full kitchen with all the usual appliances, great room for TV and gathering, huge outdoor deck directly across from the beautiful lake, a seating area with lake view and much more. Our lake house, Lake Haven, is part of Arrowhead Lake community. We had a great stay. Plenty of kitchen utensils for a weekend full of laughter and cooking. Host are very responsive and make all transaction easy to do.

I loved the house, very homely, the owners had a christmas tree and trinkets to make it feel like Christmas. The owners responded to our questions promptly, and appeared very nice. On the downside, the house was not cleaned very well, it was dusty, the tub and toilet looked it hadn't been cleaned for some time, and the water was yellow not clear. My family and I enjoyed our stay and I don't know if the owners use a cleaning company or clean themselves because the house wasn't cleaned properly.

We enjoyed staying here. It was comfortable and served our purpose. The floors good have been cleaned a little better. We found debris and trash throughout the house.

This chalet was perfect for our family to ring in the new year. The property was clean and well maintained. Ashleigh and Michael were extremely helpful and responded to questions in a timely manner. We would definitely stay again!

Michael and Ashley's lakehouse perfectly captures the essence of fall, with its golden-hued leaves reflecting on the calm lake waters. Waking up to misty mornings, sipping hot cocoa on the deck, and witnessing the most spectacular sunsets has been a dream. The cozy interiors complement the season, making it the ultimate fall getaway. Truly a slice of paradise!

Check in process was very fast and smooth. Friendly community. We didn't visit any beach locations, but drove by them. We enjoyed the house and look forward to coming back again.

Perfect chalet for a larger crew! We had 2 toddlers here as well, the game room with childrens toys was the perfect added touch to keep them busy while at the house. The place was pet friendly which we intended on bringing our dogs, but unfortunately a personal situation came up and we didnt end up having any pets with us. The place did not have that “dog” smell you sometimes find in pet friendly houses, so it is clearly cleaned well. We also got to see a mama bear and her 3 cubs which was awesome! Owners of the home were super prompt with all my questions prior to our stay and even checked in with us during. Would love to stay here again!

Pros: Overall the house is great. Well appointed and maintained, clean, as described. The front deck is awesome -- huge and securely fenced in, great for dogs and small children (though it could use a paint job). The TV’s work, the kitchen is well stocked, the fire pit is nice, the bubble hockey game is fun, etc.
The neighborhood has lots of trees and the house is indeed near (but not on, see below) two lakes. We took our bikes and enjoyed biking the area. Lots of deer. For us it was quiet and not crowded, though it was very early in the season; I suspect that will change as summer moves along.
Things to be aware of: The amenities were farther from the house than we had anticipated. Both the pool and lake access are roughly a quarter mile away. It’s doable but not quick, especially with kids. The game room etc are over a mile away. Also there are no paths or trails through the woods; it’s all private lots, fairly close together. You can take a walk, but it’s along the road. These things mattered to us; they may not to others.
Finally, the beds: The master bed, upstairs, was very good. Of the other three, two had lumpy mattresses that were too small for their frames; they were constantly falling through and getting stuck between the slats. The third was noisy and slid around.

This was the best weekend away! This property is really nice and the location is perfect! We loved everything about this place! My kids are 7 and 4 and had a blast and the best part was being able to bring my dogs! The owners are responsive and great to work with! We will be back for sure!

We had a great time this weekend. The only complaint we had which was not major was there was quite a bit of dust higher up. Unfortunately most of us have allergies. Other than that it was clean and very comfortable for 5 adults and one infant.

Stayed here with 2 sets of parents with 1 kid each. It was the perfect amount of space. Each family got 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom on their own floor. It was close to Kalahari water park and we found a bowling alley and grocery store within 15 min too. Kitchen has all the tools you might need and everything works well. Good water pressure, and the hot water doesn't take forever to get hot. Bathrooms had towels and soaps and toilet paper.
We had a little trouble figuring out how to find the buttons on the thermostat, but the system works well. The kids loved the play room.
Ashleigh was super helpful and responsive. The community HOA aspect was a little annoying, but it's pretty common in the Poconos, and this place was still less expensive than most others even after the community fees and car registration. We didn't bother to check out the community amenities. When we weren't busy, we were happy just chilling in the house. It's very cozy.

We had a great time at the cabin for a much needed girls trip. The house was perfect for the 5 of us and having the two bathrooms was a plus. The property had a nice view of the lake and we had deer in the front yard every day.

Great spot for skiing and exploring the Poconos. House was nice, clean, well-kept. Community charged fees to get in, but it offered a lot - the clubhouse is fantastic and the lakes and pools seem like they would be great in the summer time (we stayed in the winter). Overall, would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

We had a great stay. 4 adults and 4 children. Plenty of space in the house. We didn’t get to utilize the community amenities as we stayed in the winter but there’s plenty to do in the community as well. Pretty close to everything.

I was a little concerned after I booked this property and then saw a negative review from another guest - those worries proved completely unjustified. The house was awesome. Very clean, great location, easy walk to the sports courts, nice fire pit in the backyard, overall a great trip and a great place to stay!

The house was NOT very CLEAN!!!
We had unexpected visitors at night, these were mice which I guess we might have expected due to the frigid weather!!!
But with children running around it’s not what we wanted!
Not a fully loaded kitchen as described and certainly not nearly enough room to sit and have a meal together with the
8 of us !!! Our biggest issue was the lack of effort put into cleaning! There was dirt and crumbs in the couch crevices, dust on the lights, and the ceiling fans were filthy!

We travelled from MA to Arrowhead Lake because we love it. This house looked adorable; the reviews seemed ok. Upon arrival, I immediately went to put our perishables away in the fridge. The fridge was filthy- mold, mildew, a mysterious brown goo, hair, and food smudges. The ice and water dispensers were so inundated with mildew, they were unusable. I had to clean the entire fridge before I could put the food away. As I am doing this, my children go to explore the house. My daughter came downstairs repulsed because there was a used dirty band aid stuck to the underside of the pillow and several crusty spots on the bedspread. My son's bed had mouse droppings on the pillow. The house reeked of dog urine as there were a few spots of uncleaned urine and dog vomit in the game room. Within an hour and a half, we had contacted the owners. They were not helpful and simply told us we should have not cleaned the fridge because they could have sent the cleaners back. We asked them to send the cleaners back, which they promised to do but never did. I took over 30 photos of mouse droppings in the utensil’s drawer, cabinets, bedroom, and around the fridge. The photos also included the dirty linens, dog urine puddles, the dog vomit, and the overall filth inside and outside of the home.
The owners argued this was not a big deal. We called Vrbo for help, they tried unsuccessfully to find us another property at Arrowhead but were unable due to their rentals being fully booked. We had guests travelling from out of state. We had no where else to go. We spent 3 days cleaning- including fixing the grill, which was filthy with grease and old food chunks.
We remained in constant contact with the owners chronically this disaster of a home. We asked for our cleaning deposit back, the cost of all the cleaning supplies we had to purchase (the home came with none), and to be comped the days it took us to clean. They refused but eventually refunded the cleaning fee plus the 50 dollars spent on cleaning supplies.
The home came with no toiletries as it was advertised to. There was no functioning fire extinguisher, we were promised one but it never came. The home had also not been vacuumed in sometime, I filled a canister and a half doing the carpets myself. The yard was littered with candy wrappers, cans, and dog poop bags. It is a shame to treat guests this way. I honestly would be horrified if a guest at my property sent me 30+ photos of my dirty home. I wish I could upload

We stayed with 2 families in September. There was plenty to do and we had a great time. The home met our needs, was comfortable and we had enough room to spread out between the indoor and outdoor seating areas. The owners are highly responsive if you need anything during your stay.

ENJOYED THE STAY. THE HOUSE WAS EVERYTHING WE HOPED IT WOULD BE AND THE WEATHER WAS AWESOME. HAD SOME PROBLEM WITH THE CHECK IN. NEVER DID RECEIVE THE DISCOUNT E MAIL! IT TOOK US 1 DAY TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO TURN ON THE TV AND THE ONLY WAY TO TURN IT OFF WAS TO PULL THE POWER CORD, PLUS THEY WAS NO WAY TO ADJUST THE VOLUMN. ALSO THE HEAT PUMP RUNS WHEN THE CONTROL , BEHIND THE FRONT DOOR, IS OFF.? HAD DEER IN THE FRONT YARD, NICE.. HOPE TO PUT MY NAME IN FOR OUR NEXT VISIT. THANK YOU KEN / JUDY

This home fit our needs well as a multigenerational family. Nice size bedrooms and living room. Eating space is a bit cramped for a family but doable for us. Some areas like Kitchen and bathroom cabinets and drawers, and laundry room are well stocked but could use some cleaning out. Overall a good house for a group to enjoy time together and enjoy all Arrowhead community has to offer for a reasonable price.

The house is beautiful. It is spacious to accommodate a large party - has 4 separate bedrooms plus a game room (where we ended up having more children sleep). It also has a large back yard with a fire pit (which we definitely used). It is convenient to Island Pool and beach 2. The hosts were very responsive to every question and issue, and we enjoyed our stay there tremendously. This was our 12th year renting in Poconoes and one of the best houses there!
