I booked the Triple room, it was myself (in the Double) and a friend (in the Single). It was compact but the room worked for us. We only needed it to dry off after a downpour in the afternoon and for one night and it was to sleep and wake fresh for our BlackpoolPB visit.
Gail was very informative, welcoming and friendly. She showed us the how to access our room (an external annexe), how to operate the heating and tv and the bathroom fixtures, and the best way to get to the front and find good food.
The room was very cosy and very clean. The bed linen looked/smelled fresh (no signs of other guests). The bed was nice and firm.
The heating worked well as and when required.
The Sink and Shower had plentiful hot water and there were old (clean) towels used for the bathroom floor. There was Liquid Handwash and plenty of toilet rolls. The room/bathroom was light and fresh, there was also a convection heater. Hangers for clothes and hooks and rails. There was a decent TV and Kettle with provided sachets of coffee, tea, milk, sugar and cups & glasses for 3 guests.
There were enough sockets for us to recharge our mobiles.
There was free wifi available but we had mobile data (good signal area) anyway so didn't need it.
For the price we paid it was exceptional value for a nights stay in Blackpool.
I booked the Triple room, it was myself (in the Double) and a friend (in the Single). However only 3 towels provided (i think 2 Body and 1 Bath Sheet) but one of the towels didn't smell as though it had been laundered (it smelled of sweaty bums), and at that point it was too late to ask Gail for another one.
The Bathroom window opened to let steam out, and although the glass was frosted, the opening would mean you were visible in the shower or on the loo (a blind or netted curtain could solve this) though there was a fan operated when the light was on.
The room may be a bit too compact if you were staying for a week as 3 people and it was too wet to go outside.
There were 3 spaces for cars on the front but these were taken, however there was free parking on the road across the street.

That we didn't stay longer, we could have stayed for weeks!

Gail was very pleasant and the area in Blackpool was nice as well as accommodation being clean.
A good price compared to other accommodation around Blackpool.
The creaky and loud staircase was bad when trying to sleep at night and also being woken in the morning by guests coming and going to and from their rooms.Roim was small with only one chair so the bed had to be used as a seat which is not ideal for back problems The dbl bed was against the wall at one side which didn't make for good access.
The walls between rooms were very thin and we were woken up at 6.58am then 7.00am in the same morning by the same people in the next room, they then they decided to have a loud conversation until 7.50am which was loud through the thin walls.
We didn't sleep well anyway as the duvet was too heavy and when pulled down to cool off the room was a bit chilly.
Only one large bath towel and one small bath towel but no hand towels. No wardrobe and struggled for space to put our clothes and also toiletries.
Toilet roll holder was loose and fell off a few times.
Alandene is right on the main road where there are a lot of sirens from the Ambulance route and to top all of this off the weather was really windy and very wet which didn't help matters
The weather obviously wasn't the responsibility of Alandene but it did help to spoil our time at our annual break in Blackpool.

Room nice, tea facilities and kettle. Parking provided.
Wooded flooring in communal areas on stairs, which made every visitor going to room heard at different hours. Shower quite weak and no hairdryer. Didnt see host on arrival or leaving.
