About this house rental

Situated in Bakersfield, this charming house for $130 per night is a great option for your next trip. *New Listing* Enjoy a stylish stay at this newly renovated and centrally located 2-bedroom home in Downtown, Bakersfield. This beautiful house boasts a gorgeous, fully loaded open concept kitchen, latest stainless-steel appliances, ceiling hood vent, large farmhouse sink and mid-century modern furnishings. The bathroom is fully equipped for your favorite self-care needs whether soaking in the tub or rainfall showering. Whether its business or pleasure this stunning space has got you covered! *Please note bookings on Saturday are subject to later checkin time, typical checkin is 3 pm, checkin time on Saturday is 6 pm.* *Additional Rules & Policies* Booking with the Downtown Gem implies that the booking guest is responsible for all guest/pet damage(s) to the interior/exterior of the property during the stay. Confirming your booking is confirming knowledge of this rule. NO PETS are allowed. Pet Fee - occupant will be required to pay $200 if evidence of pet on the property without approval. NO EVENTS/PARTIES or visitations beyond registered guests - this applies to whether guests spend the night or not. In addition to Airbnb's 2021 ban on events and parties, only registered guests (maximum 4) are allowed on to the premises during a booking. Violation of this rule will result in a $200 fine. Smoking Fee - occupant will be required to pay $200 if evidence of smoking (ash tray, smoke residue, smell of cigarettes or weed, etc.) Parking - only 2 parking spaces are available to guests directly in front of the premises and not in front of neighbor's homes. Bodily Waste Fee - occupant will be required to pay $200 if evidence of human bodily waste is found on the property. Water contact with wood flooring - our hard wood flooring should not be exposed to any form of water or fluid for an extended period of time. Moisture must thoroughly dried otherwise "bowing" will occur causing serious damage. Occupant will be required to pay $300 if evidence of bowing is identified. Quiet hours - 9 pm - 8 am No eating/drinking in bedrooms. Water is acceptable. Furniture is not to be rearranged. Guest agrees to pay damage(s) to property over $50. Basic Cleaning at Checkout - expected basic cleaning prior to checkout, counters should be wiped down (susceptible to staining), all used dishes and cups placed in the dishwasher, please run the dishwasher on the "normal" setting (pods under the kitchen sink), trash in designated trashes and placed on back porch, leave beds undone, used towels placed on bathroom floor in a pile.

We are a regular vrbo travelers and would rate Fay and Luke’s place as one of the nicest, best located, and real value of all the places we have stayed. The place was very clean, modern, had everything we needed to feel at home, and was an easy walk/drive to the places we wanted to go. They did a fabulous job on their remodel!

This property was just as nice AND clean as shown in the listing pictures. The house is very spacious in the living and kitchen area and has everything for a comfortable stay, including a washer and dryer. It was a quiet and peaceful stay and we will book again when we are back in town.
