We got the inspiration because when you walk out the back door leading to your very own in ground heated swimming pool, you literally feel like your in a jungle by all of the surrounding palms and exotic plants, not to mention the misc. mermaid motif uniquely placed all around. This house is located in an private gated community. This property has 3 generously sized bedrooms and 2 full sized bathrooms. There is a full sized kitchen and dining room with place settings for up to 8 ppl that overlooks the living room and den area. Beyond the doors leading to the backyard, you will find yourself in your own little oasis. There is seating on the patio that overlooks the quaint in ground heated swimming pool with waterfall. There's something very serene about listening to the nature and the water flowing through the waterfall. Some other great things to know, there are a lot of great options for the beach, restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, etc. This house is conveniently located just a couple miles from I95 which leads you to a multitude of fun things. The Beach is approx 7 miles east. The Melbourne Mall is within a few miles along with The Brevard Zoo, Camp Holly Airboats, Andretti thrill park and so much more. Orlando Airport (MCO) is approx 50 miles. Disney World 70 miles away. The Melbourne airport (MLB) is approx 2 miles away. All the best golf courses are just a few miles away. I can't forget to mention Kennedy Space Center or Cape Canaveral. Also note Rocket Launches are a pretty cool experience to see up close in personal, but if you don't feel like making that 40 min drive to Kennedy or Space X you will be able to see most Rockets flying through the air from my driveway. **Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have. We stayed at the Mermaid Jungle for an extended weekend. We had a wonderful time and pleasant stay. The house had everything that we needed for our stay and Shelly was awesome! The response time to our questions was practically immediate. The house was located in a safe, gated neighborhood and the neighbors were so kind! We would definitely stay here again if travels ever brought us back to Melbourne. Shelly, you were amazing and thank you so much for everything!

House was as described, very well stocked with everything needed. The weather was cool, we werent able to use the heated pool as much as we'd have liked. Had the weather cooperated, it would have been great for the kids entertainment. It is a very convenient location, close to everything we needed. Host was very responsive to any questions we had.

I really enjoyed my stay here, everything needed for our vacation was readily available. So cozy, loved the decor! The backyard felt like a private getaway. Everything was easily explained for us to get in and to check out. Would love to stay here again!

Came for a short weekend to visit family and celebrate birthdays! The Mermaid Jungle house was the prefect spot! The house was spacious and decorated in super cute mermaid/coastal theme! The beds were all very comfortable! We all enjoyed the pool and outdoor “jungle” the whole time. Shelly, our host, was very quick and responsive to issue with the air unit and had it fixed within the hour! We will definitely stay again when traveling to see family! Thanks for the fantastic stay!!

We were there for a baseball tournament. Quick access from the property to the highway. No matter the time of day, the trip to and from the park was on 15 minutes. The pool made cooling off easy after a long day of multiple games.

The House was absolutely beautiful and well thought out. Everything you could possibly need or expect from a VRBO. The owner had exceptional communication and even messaged when a storm rolled through to inquire on our safety as well as needs. The owner immediately had the pool recleaned the very next morning after it received some debris from the storm. Exceptional service we would definitely recommend.

We traveled to Florida from Indiana for spring break. We absolutely loved staying in the Mermaid Jungle House!! It has everything you could need and more! The decor is on point and the coziness is perfection! The pool is fantastic! Shelly was the perfect hostess and made certain we were very comfortable! I highly recommend this home! We will be back!!

Property was comfortable, especially furniture and beds were great! There was lots of nice-to-haves including throw blankets a well-stocked pantry. Everything worked, which is not always the case with VRBOs.

Tucked into a quiet gated community the private fenced backyard and pool were perfect for our family. It was a record cold December, but the kids still braved the pool. Inside was beautiful and the minimal issues were responded to promptly. Anything you might need was readily available, they really thought of everything. Even a shower chair available! I would highly recommend staying here!! Only suggestion is that while the listing clearly says 3 bedroom 2 bath, the individual bed sizes break down to make it appear as a 4 bedroom. It is a 3 bedroom with one king, one queen and then a bunk bed with a full on bottom and twin on top.

It was rainy and cool all week when we stayed, so we didn't really use the pool, but it was November and it's Florida.... it didn't matter. The house is well stocked with everything needed. It has a very nice beach theme decor. We really enjoyed our stay.

It was such a cozy little home! The only thing I would suggest is mowing before the guests arrive. I was just a little worried with the snakes! The volume on the TVs wouldn’t work which that could have just been us! The pool was having a little trouble staying on but overall was a great home!

We had a great week at the house. It was in a perfect location for us and a really easy drive on the day that we did go to Orlando. The pool was really great for the kids and the neighborhood was a quiet and a great place to unwind after long days at our daughters tournament or at the beach.

This was the perfect place for our family to stay!! The house has everything you need and more!! Plenty of bath towels, beach towels, pool toys, games, and more! Having everything for the beach was amazing! I cannot say enough good things about this house! Shelly was great to work with and very responsive and helpful with any questions. Loved the property! House is clean and nicely decorated! Had everything we needed! Only recommendation is the backyard landscaping! I was a little worried about snakes as it was overgrown, just needed a little TLC! Otherwise we enjoyed everything and would most definitely be back!

I chatted with Shelly before and during our stay, which was extremely appreciated. We were able to use the pool and other amenities that the house offered. Great sleeping arrangements, very clean all around. The gated community made us feel like VIPs. Would highly recommend.

Shelly’s home was the perfect getaway, the house was spotless, and nicely decorated. This was the first home after 7 years of renting on VRBO that included all the extras such as extra toilet paper, dish soap, laundry soap, paper towel, and spices. I didn’t have to run immediately to the store to pick up those items for the short time I was there. The beds were comfortable, and the home was so cozy. Thank you Shelly for everything!!

This is a lovely property. Even better than the pictures! I booked for my husband, father and 2 teenage sons. They had a week of golfing. They were pleasantly surprised by the comfortable mattresses on all the beds. The kitchen and pool area are well stocked. It was easy to find and check in was a breeze. Their only complaint was about the couch not being very comfortable. They are already discussing next years trip and are hoping to rent Shelly’s home again. Definitely recommend this little gem.

I would definitely stay here again. The property is well kept, clean and the pool, though we didn't get to use it, is beautiful and beckons you to relax! The homeowner is gracious and communication was spot on. The house has a few quirks like the lighting in the master bath/shower and we preferred to unplug the air fresheners (never once did we notice a reason for them, house did not smell) but overall a great choice for privacy, space, and value over booking 3 hotel rooms.
