As you enter the resort on Gulf Highlands Boulevard from 10977 Hutchison Boulevard often referred to as Middle Beach by the locals, the well-kept, beautifully landscaped property will impress you. As you drive through the main gate you're likely to notice there is something fun to do in every direction. The resort amenities are truly impressive, including: 11 swimming pools, 4 of those are seasonally heated, multiple tennis courts, several shuffle board courts, pickle board, 2 children's play grounds, 18 hole mini golf, gym, Robin gate providing walking access to the Shoppes Around Edgewater, a canal, a beach gate, private beach clubhouse with a gulf front pool and cafe. All of this and more is within a private gated community with friendly security staff and coded access gate.
Sea This Way has reserved parking spaces just a few feet from the front door. No need to wait for or board crowded elevators, lighted entry is conveniently on the ground floor and privacy is assured.
Decorated in soothing shades of sky blue, pelican gray and white, Sea This Way invokes comfort and relaxation. The ambiance is coastal and serene. Tile floors downstairs, carpet upstairs, half bath downstairs, full bath with walk in shower upstairs, patio downstairs and balcony upstairs, Two king size bedrooms upstairs and a queen sleeper sofa downstairs. Gulf Highlands is prefect for active people and Sea This Way is ideal for couples or families that desire to be within reach of everything yet out of the intensity of the crowd. Downstairs has living room with two sofas, dining table and hutch, half bath, spacious stainless steel well stocked kitchen, laundry room and a private patio. It is attractive, comfortable, spacious and open.
Upstairs has two bedrooms furnished with king size beds, chest of drawers or dresser, ceiling fans, overhead and bedside lighting. The master has a balcony with a beautiful private view. The guest room has a window too. The walk in shower in the upstairs bathroom is one of the upgrades to Sea This Way. The bedrooms are spacious, decorated in soothing cool colors of the Gulf and the sugar white sands of the beach.
Convenience factors include: wifi, a beach wagon, two televisions, washer and dryer, BBQ grill, keyless entry and reserved parking. The Direct TV service includes complimentary HBO. All the Gulf Highlands amenities are available, free of charge for Sea This Way guests to enjoy. Shuffle board equipment, clubs and balls for mini golf and a beach wagon are available in the townhouse. Pools are open from 9:00 a.m. until 11;00 p.m. including the four, seasonally heated. The gym is available daily until 11;00 p.m. also.

What we liked best is that this unit is a very quick walk to the beach! Under 5 minutes. There are two entrances to the beach, on either side of their restaurant. If you have a beach wagon as we did, use their private entrance because it's a ramp whereas the other is steep stairs, you'll need your key card. The host had excellent and prompt communication. Accessing the unit was super easy. They called the day before with the code. There is a paper agreement you'll have to fill out, sign and fax or email back to them ahead of time. And a code word you'll be emailed with, you'll need that for your door code when they call you. There is an ice vending machine on property that sells large bags of ice, takes debit or credit card. The property felt very safe, it's gated and staffed with a gate guard. Two assigned parking spots and you can pull right up to the door, no fussing with elevators or long hallways or fighting for luggage carts. Now this particular unit is a bit dated, but very homey and cozy, ice cold air was turned on for us and ice in freezer already made, which was nice.The area is quiet, no wild parties. The cleaning crew could be a little better, but overall it was clean enough. For the price, you get 2 bedrooms, your dog is allowed to stay, and the beach is super close. That's all we really cared about. There's also a washer and dryer. We were happy with our stay.

Place was amazing! Host was very helpful with everything we needed even the last minute accommodations. Would definitely recommend and would consider staying here again.
