About this cottage rental

Situated in Daytona Beach, this lovely cottage for $155 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Enjoy your stay in this spacious, beautifully decorated beach home with a large fenced in back yard complete with hot tub, fire pit and Weber gas grill. You will love it and never want to go home! The very large master suite has a king size bed, a 50" smart Roku TV, master bath has vanity with 2 sinks, large closet and a fireplace. The door in back leads out to the large back yard and covered patio with hot tub. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed, 32" smart Roku TV, and a half bath. It has french doors that lead out to the patio also. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds. There is a new full bath (tub/shower) at the end of the hall. The beautiful large living area has a 55" smart Roku TV and a sectional couch that is very comfortable! The dining area has seating for 4 and 2 bar stools at the granite countertop in the kitchen area. The kitchen area is small but very well equipped. The new washer and dryer is in the garage and the garage has plenty of room for storage if needed. There are 2 bicycles in the garage if you decide to ride around the nice quiet neighborhood! Well behaved pets are welcomed, but please clean up after your pet. There is a $150 per pet non refundable fee. This home has everything needed for a nice peaceful vacation on the beach side. We are close to grocery stores (Publix), churches, shopping, and restaurants. We are located on a non busy street between the river and the ocean. There is private parking for Riverbreeze people at the condo right across the street (A1A) from us on the ocean. This home is only available to be rented by the month (or months) I am not able to rent it by the week, This is an Ormond By The Sea restriction, not mine!

The property is in a good location and is suitable for a group, however there were major letdowns. The property simply was not clean, Fridge and kitchen appliances dirty, floors full of sand, closets full of clutter and virtually unusable, outside chairs so dirty you did not want to sit on them and an outdoor grill (BBQ) that had never been cleaned and full of grease. We spent the first 2 days cleaning the property, washing the outside seat covers, clearing out the closets so you could use them and clearing the clutter in the garage. The owner did contact after 2 days and was told of the issues, but all we got was sorry we will get it right for the next renters. Not what you want to hear when you have paid 5k plus for the month. We were aware it was pet friendly and had no issue with this, but this went beyond a few pet hairs. Photos were provided. We were also promised visits from the pool man, none transpired, so we did not use the hot tub. This house could be a great property in a good location, if a bit of attention introduced and a rigorous cleaning regime applied, and hopefully the owners will take notice. The whole house needs de cluttering of old lamps, tables, microwaves, chairs that were in the closets and garage. We come to the area every year for 2 months, I think it says a lot when we have already booked a different property for next year.

Property was exactly as described and in pictures. We had a great time. Neighborhood is quiet and only a block from the beach. Becky was an excellent hostess and even gave suggestions of places to visit nearby. Overall great experience.

We absolutely loved staying here. Becky, the host is so nice and was very accommodating. Everything about our stay was outstanding. We will definitely stay here again next year.

We truly enjoyed our month at this house! So comfortable and great location. We rented a 4 person golf cart to use all month and made almost daily trips down the street to the beach. Highly recommend this place and Becky was GREAT to work with!! Plan to book again!!

The owner, Becky, has created a lovely, serene atmosphere. The decor accentuated the seaside feel. The home was actually more spacious than expected. It was a great place to relax and enjoy a perfect getaway. The hot tub and fenced yard were an added bonus. The host was very nice and easily accessible.
