About this house rental
Nestled in Lake Arrowhead, this lovely house for $598 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Welcome to our completely remodeled lake view mountain home. This spacious 3000 sq ft, 3 story, 4 bedroom plus bunk bed nook, 4 1/2 bath mountain home is now available to enjoy as a private vacation rental for you, your friends and your family. Enjoy mountaintop privacy with tons of natural light, a soaring ceiling, gorgeous lake views on one side and desert pinnacle views on the other. All of the bedrooms have lake views as well as the kitchen, game room and great room. The main entrance is on the middle floor where the foyer opens to an open concept gourmet kitchen and huge great room. Enjoy an eat-in kitchen complete with a fireplace and flat screen tv. The kitchen has an oversized island that seats 6 comfortably. Past the buffet and beverage station, you enter into the great room with a 25'+ soaring ceiling and a rock fireplace with another flat screen tv. Four sets of sliding glass doors and over sized A framed glass window sandwich this room with sunrises above the mountains surrounding the lake and sunset views on the desert side of the room. Here you will find comfort in several oversized seating arrangements and dining options. Enjoy a large, 84" dining table that seats 8 as well as a second dining table that can seats 6. On the main level is one of two primary suites. This primary bedroom has a rather high Eastern King bed with steps to climb into. The en suite bath has "his" and "hers" vanities and a shower. This bedroom has sliding glass doors that open to a deck as well as a flat screen tv. The second en suite primary is on the lower level, has a private bathroom with a shower/tub combination, a private deck with access to the jacuzzi with lake view and a flat screen tv. There are two more bedrooms on this level; one with two twins and the other with a queen bed. There is an additional bathroom with a rain head shower. A full sized washer and dryer closet is also on this level. There is direct entry to this floor from our driveway and 3 car parking space which makes for easy loading and unloading of luggage. Enter into a foyer and mud room. On the top floor is the game room loft complete with a pool table, darts and a poker table that seats 4 but more can join in. A comfortable sofa with a slip cover and another flat screen tv and wall unit provide hours of entertainment with board games and video games. This is the family or kids room. There is a bunk bed nook and a full size bathroom with shower. Additional bedding includes 2 extra long twin fold out mattresses and a double sized air bed can make for a fun sleepover in the game room. This room also has the best view of the lake and overlooks the great room. Wow! What a great place for family and friends to hang out and enjoy time bonding. In addition, there are a few decks to hang out on, jacuzzi spa to enjoy and a grill for BBQ's. The sun shines on the lake side so there are 4 chaise lounges to soak up the sun in winter or summer. There is also an outdoor dining table that can accommodate 6. Parking - 4 cars confirmed on site. Our parking pad accommodates 3 cars comfortably. You could park more but then you would have to shuffle cars to get out. We also have a cut-out in the front of the house for one more car to park. We are members and have lake rights. Guests can access the lake trails by purchasing passes. If interested, we can provide additional information upon booking. If you wish to enjoy water sports, Lake Gregory and Big Bear Lake permit public use and are nearby. Our home is very private and only available as a "whole house" stay. I have a local manager close by to assist in check in and also available in case of weather related emergencies. I make sure to keep the access road plowed and the driveway and parking pad shoveled for winter vacations.

Best ever. Everything was perfect

Loved this property and the beautiful lake view.
It accommodated the 8 of us no problem.
We’re hoping to come back as we had such a great time.
The house was very comfy with a great kitchen, family room and game room upstairs. The two master suites (up and downstairs) were very nice with balconies. One of our friends even enjoyed the spa. There was a nice hiking trail close to the house which was beautiful and very private. It was a Saturday and no one else was on the trail which was an unexpected treat.
It was a bit further to town than we originally realized so only went once. Although we were very happy playing pool, playing games, watching sports, eating, drinking & spending quality time together.
We were all very relaxed as it was very quiet and
scenic. Couldn’t have asked for a better birthday weekend away.

This is a very nice property! As others have stated, the driveway is a bit tricky but well worth it! Bed linens were very soft. Very well appointed.

Family Fun
This was the second visit to Matterhorn Pines with our kids & grandkids. It is beautiful and we all enjoy it so much! The kitchen has everything to cook for a crowd and communication with the property manager is excellent.

It is beautifully decorated and every one of us talked about how comfortable the beds were. The kitchen had all the cooking tools we needed to cook for our party of eight for every meal except for one when we ate at the village. If you've got kids traveling with you, they will absolutely love the game room/loft and even us parents spent every night up there playing games and shooting pool. We did have an issue with hot water while we were there - sometimes it was hot - sometimes it was not, and unfortunately it was tough to get someone to fix on a holiday weekend. We persevered though and the management company and owners did what they could to make the situation right for us. I will say that while there is ample parking for two to three cars to park, the driveway is very narrow and we're talking sedans or SUV's on the parking pad. Had we not brought our SUV, it would have been a challenge to get my husband's truck up the driveway (especially in the snow). Even with experiencing a couple of issues, we wouldn't hesitate to stay in this home again and hope to be back soon!

A great house for a crew. Loved just staying in and not going anywhere. Driveway was a bit tricky to navigate- ice and a sharp turn. House had everything and many rooms and bathrooms was great.

This is a beautiful cabin with a beautiful view. We stayed here during Thanksgiving and were able to cook for our family of 12. The kitchen was well stocked and very easy to make a feast. The bed in the master is very comfortable. The heater worked very well. The cabin stayed warm and we were very comfortable. Our family enjoyed the game room and everyone seemed to have a good time. The parking is a slight bit challenging so make sure you are aware ahead of time. We would stay here again in an instant if we were allowed to bring our dog. I recommend!

Great house
We loved the house and the view, and Shannon was always a big help. Had a little trouble with broken dishwasher, plugged drain, and the spa quit heating in the middle of the weekend, but we didn't care much, the place was otherwise great, we would visit again!

Our family, kids & grandkids, had a wonderful time at beautiful Matterhorn Pines. It’s a very comfortable and fun place for a group. The kitchen is well-equipped for those who enjoy cooking for a bunch of hungry kids (small and large :)
