The house was just what we were looking for regarding size and location. No complaints but the house is starting to age and is in need of some attention. We identified a couple of possible plumbing leaks and a few other minor things like unfinished electrical. Overall, it was a great weekend.

Very nice home. Large, spacious, very comfortable. Views were spectacular. Great kitchen to cook in. Plenty of TV's for everyone. Beds were warm and comfortable.j We had one major issue, the other was minor. There was a beep coming from the coat closet on the first floor. It beeps every 23 seconds. Extremely annoying. Apparently it is an old alarm system. I learned this from the maintenance man who was called to check it out. When I said beep, he walked right to that closet and said "from here?" and it beeped just as he said it. He said it's been like that for a long time. The owners haven't fixed it. During the day it's not a problem, in the quite of the night....big problem. We actually left a day early because we didn't want to spend another night with it going off every 24 seconds. The other issues is the beautiful gas fire place. Looks really nice in the pictures but it doesn't work. Maintenace man says it hasn't worked in a long time. So if you rent, don't expect a nice fire on a cool/cold night. BTW, the house was very warm. Didn't need the fireplace, just would have been nice to have it on

This house is spacious with a gorgeous view of the lake and mountains. Unfortunately, when I contacted vacasa (not sure why it wasn't vrbo, unless the companies are one in the same), the representatives promised resolutions to 2 seemingly simple requests. Most frustrating was the difficulty accessing the home. The door to the house was inaccessible due snow up to my waist. A path was not shoveled and the stairs were not shoveled. This was not newly fallen snow. When I called the phone number on the vacasa app, they provided me with a code for the garage door. Unfortunately, I had to climb a mountain of snow to reach the box to enter the code for the garage. In my opinion, this was both unsafe and unacceptable. I called several times and was told that someone would be arriving at the house for snow removal. Again, this was not newly fallen snow. We ultimately had to shovel and put ice melt on the icy driveway. I feel that when I'm renting a home for a getaway, I should not be expected to shovel to enter the home. The minimal instructions that were provided for the home were unclear. The home was 55 degrees upon arrival. There were no directions for the digital thermostat which was unnecessarily frustrating. There was a beautiful spa tub, along with a sign that stated we couldn't use it. The fireplace did not work. There were no trash bags or dishwashing pods. We would have loved to have access to the large porch, but that was also covered with snow. Beds were comfortable. When they say you will need 4x4 to get up the driveway...that's no joke. Thankfully we had mild weather and that the ice was only at the top of the driveway because it would have been impossible to get up the steep driveway has it been snowy and icy. Yikes...this was my first negative experience with home away/vrbo...which is now vacasa I guess. Customer service was poor. Representatives told me that'd provide solutions for the snow and heat and never did after several calls. Trust the reviews on this one. I have photos. I wish I could upload them here.

This house has lots of space and is well equipped with kitchen tools towels and start up supplies… however there are things in need of repair on the property such as torn screen doors, broken cabinet and door handles and hot water was not constant. Beautiful house just need some TLC

We had such high hopes for this spot for our wedding weekend and had 10 people staying here. On arrival I opened the freezer and ice cubes spilled out all over the floor. As I was cleaning this up I noticed an odor like a dead mouse and a few bugs. Looking around the kitchen I found chips and bagels in the pantry , I assume from a previous guest, but they were unopened and not the source of the problem. . As we were preparing our dinner a guest inadvertently opened the trash compactor (we were told it was not working) and found mostly liquified trash in the compactor that was weeks old and hundreds of bugs. This disgusting mess had to be removed and spilled on the floor during the process. Another cleanup but more significant. I had been in touch with vacasa during this time and when I expressed my horror at what we found I was told that someone would be In Touch to take care of the problem. 12 hours later I received a call from Matt who told me he had just been informed of our issue. He came right out and cleaned the compactor and the kitchen area again. While we tried to regroup and enjoy our time there we were dismayed to find lights not working, a toilet paper holder off the wall in a bathroom and just a poorly maintained property. The kitchen is poorly stocked for cooking and didn't have juice or water glasses. For the amount of money this home cost we expected more. Again beautiful views but poorly maintained.

The Front porch was the best view and we enjoyed mornings out there! We liked all the bedrooms and the beds. The couch downstairs was enormous and we could all fit to spend the time together. The kitchen needs some new pots but the stove worked great to feed our crew. There is a lot to do and see within 10-15 minutes.
