This certification is given to properties which meet the country’s health and safety standards for both employees and travelers. Perfect for big families. 2 condo with 4 bedrooms and 2 sofa beds. Playa Del Sol Resort offers complimentary snorkeling and a half day fishing tour to each guest group. During your stay we will make sure that you will snorkel at Hol Chan Marine Reserve & World famous Shark Ray Alley and catch some fish by the reef. (Please see below for more info) Playa Del Sol impresses from the moment you dock at the pier and enter the lush, landscaped grounds, but its biggest draw is that it is only 800 yards from the reef. The unique architecture, blending tropical charm, Mediterranean sophistication and Belizean craftsmanship, is designed to merge indoor and outdoor living into one seamless experience. Inside, the guest house is bright and airy, with high ceilings, large windows and an open-plan living and dining area. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and are air-conditioned. A state-of-the-art kitchen makes cooking a pleasure with high-end appliances. In our boutique resort, we offer a relaxing vacation and full of tranquility. Start the day by watching an amazing sunrise on the pier then jump into the crystal water. Use our kayaks to paddle to the reef. Enjoy the pool after a long day. Our jungle is home to iguanas, hummingbirds and ospreys. Hang out in our tiki bar for exotic drinks and local soul food or take a nap on our very private pier. You will be surrounded by hundreds of coconut trees. During the day you will see exotic birds hunting on the flat water. You can fish snappers, tarpons and barracudas from the pier afternoon time. When you want to explore the rest of Belize, our staff will help you find the most suitable tours to the Mayan ruins, cave tubing, zip-lining, zoo, the Blue Hole and diving. All complimentary; You first night dinner, Snorkeling at world famous site " Hol Chan Marine Reserve" & Shark & Ray Alley with our private boat and tour guide*, Half day reef fishing, Wi-fi, kayaks, welcome drinks, coconut water, Cornholes, Horseshoes, library, board games, Netflix, and darts are also available. You will have 2 condos in 2 buildings across from each other. Each condo has 2 bedrooms upstairs with a full bathroom. 1 sofa bed downstairs with a half bedroom. (in total 12 people) All our beds including sofa beds are queen size. -These free trips are available one time only and can be arranged upon arrival. -All boat transportation is ‘weather permitting’ -No Substitutions * You need to pay $10 US/each person marine park fee (11 years and older) TRAVELING TO THE ISLAND You can reach San Pedro one of two ways. By taking a local flight from the Belize International Airport (BZE to SPR) or by taking a public water taxi from Belize City. Water taxi: You will need to get a taxi from International airport to Belize City to the water ferry terminal. The ferry takes 1.5 hours. Flight: You can transfer to Tropic or Maya Island Air in the International Airport. Flight is 15 minutes. Add a minimum $30 US taxi rate from International Airport to Water Taxi terminal in Belize City. COMING TO PLAYA DEL SOL & SHOPPING If you wish, we can arrange your transfer to and from Playa Del Sol Resort according to your arrival and departure times. The transfers will be private to your group. Please let us know if you want the transfer to be arranged by us with discounted rate. We will need your arrival time and arrival terminal (by air; Tropic Air or Maya Island Air. By ferry; Belize Express or Caribbean Sprinter) to the island ahead of time. Driver will take you to grocery shopping. Make sure to buy breakfast stuff since our bar/restaurant does not offer breakfast. There are a couple of small grocery stores nearby. They sell basics like; water, bread, eggs, cheese, milk, chips, canned food etc...

If you're looking for a real experience in the heart of Belize, this is the place. Iz and the family-staff shared their love of the country to our family in every way imaginable. From the delicious fresh food to excursions, snorkelling, tours and fishing, every member of our family was treated to an incredible, personable vacation experience. Highly recommend.
