My wife and I had a amazing stay David was an amazing host. We loved the privacy of the cottage and the location of the neighborhood.We were close to everything and communication was excellent.We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Red Door Cottage. Dave greeted us upon our arrival and was so friendly, personable and welcoming; which was great after a long morning of travel. The Cottage itself was perfect for us. The decor was modern and updated and it was very clean. The bed was soooo comfortable! It had everything we needed for the weekend. It is located near various stores/coffee shops which was very convenient. We would definitely book it again if our travels lead us to West Palm.

This is a wonderful property. I extensively read the other reviews before booking here and I felt that made it a no-brainer that we would get exactly what we need. The place was exactly as the other reviewers had described. The cottage lacked nothing. It was small but accommodated myself and my 18 year old daughter perfectly. The host made the futon bed for us so it was all ready when we arrived. There were extra blankets for the beds. Plenty of towels. Beach towels and even a beach bag (nice touch!) were provided. A small armoire with shelves and hangers too. An extensive list of restaurants in the area. We found a beach that rents chairs and umbrellas about 9 minutes away. SO many grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, shopping nearby. A short walk to get to a small beach/park where residents dock their boats, TONS of people walking their dogs and babies in the morning hours along this riverwalk in a beautiful neighborhood. Safe neighborhood. Easy freeway access. About a 10 min drive to the WPBI airport too! The hosts were friendly and accomodating to everything. They answered messages promptly. Couldn't ask for more!

Inside, the cottage is a large room with a queen size bed, futon, wardrobe, table with chairs, numerous occasional tables, and kitchen. Everything needed is included. The space is small for creating meals, but it is possible to make just about any meal you would like to.
The bathroom is clean and has a wonderful flat shower that is both safe spacious.
The home is located between rt 1 and olive rd which allows for easy access to Lake Worth and West Palm Beach and beyond. Sidewalks make for a very walkable neighborhood and the intercoastal is only about a 15 minute walk away.
The owners are terrific and stayed in contact, answering any questions promptly.
Overall, the property was one of the best VRBO experiences we have had and we look forward to returning!

This property is so convenient to the beach (short drive), grocery shopping, clothing shopping. The host was so friendly and quick to respond. We used the bikes which were great. Equipped with everything we needed! Comfortable and great price. Beach towels, beach bag provided. Patio was very nice too. Can park in driveway.

I would have loved my 2 night stay here, but there was some mold or mildew present that made me extremely ill. I had to sleep in my rental car the second night in order to breath. It is a cute, nicely furnished, well stocked cottage in a nice location, but if you have any sensitivity to mold or mildew - DO NOT STAY HERE! It gave me the worst asthma attack of my life (I have super mild asthma and haven't used an inhaler in years, until now). I considered going to the ER but didn't want to miss my flight home. The owners did refund 1 night fee since I had to sleep in my car, but no taxes or fees and denied the property had any issues. This is a very serious problem that I hope they will be able to fix in the future before harming another guest.

Quiet backyard cottage in quiet neighborhood. I biked to S Flagler st, along the ‘lagoon’, several times — very mellow and scenic with big sky, water, and Palm Beach elegance everywhere. Unit is nicely appointed with strong AC and fan, plus newfangled air-fryer/microwave — cool once you figure it out.
Check in/out times are a bit inconvenient at 5pm and 10am…. And loading in and out is a bit of a chore since you cant park near the actual unit as its in the backyard and they reserve the closest parking for themselves.
All that said, its a great cottage and I already stayed twice !

Super friendly hosts! Everything you need is provided. What I thought was a microwave from photos was actually some sort of contraption that could broil, toast, all sorts of stuff. They also had a 2 burner hot plate. All dishes and cooking utensils provided. So, if you want to save a few dollars and make your own meals, they have everything you need. The hubby and I enjoyed the little table and chairs outside and the whole atmosphere of the place, great landscaping too! I don't need to come to WPB often, but if the need arises again, I will absolutely stay here again. Only 10 min from the airport if you are needing a place nearby.

Great place great location friendly host. The towels were a little musty but I could have probably asked and I would have gotten new ones right away because the host was very welcoming. 5 stars overall
