About this house rental

Located in Concan, this attractive house for $375 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Peak Rate – May 15th – September 15th $575 Non-peak March 1st - May 14th $475 Winter Rate September 16th – February 28th $375 All major holidays, spring break will be charged at peak rate. April 2024 Eclipse may be charged up to three times the peak rate. Casa del Sol has a spacious, open kitchen/living area with a great covered patio off of the dining area, plus a balcony outside the upstairs loft area, providing plenty of places to enjoy family fun. This 4 bedroom + 4.5 bath home sleeps up to 16 people, with 14 in beds plus a unique queen size sleeper sofa in the loft area. Each spacious bedroom has a roomy closet and private bath. “House of Sun” is decorated just that…every kind of sun you could imagine. So clever! Downstairs there are two bedrooms (private baths), a half bath, living area, dining area, kitchen with the pantry and utility off of the kitchen. On the back patio, there is table and extra seating along with a 2nd refrigerator. The loft area is located between the two upstairs bedrooms. A covered balcony with a giant checker table is located outside the loft on the 2nd story. The safety-fenced pool has decking ready for sunning and a good place for little ones to enjoy the water. The pool is 3’ – 5’ and has a tanning shelf on the 3’ end. Outdoor volleyball, tetherball, and horseshoes help complete your outdoor activities. There is ample parking and level entry makes this home the perfect place for your Frio River vacation! To help keep the cost of your rental down, we do offer our guest the option to bring their own Linens and Towels. We do offer the option to rent them at an extra cost. If wanting to rent linens and towels for your stay, please allow us 4 weeks prior to arrival notice. Make note that we do have a limited supply and cannot guarantee we will have lines and towels readily available. Bedroom 1 — sleeps 2 – 1 king bed Bedroom 2 — sleeps 4 – 2 queen beds Bedroom 3 – sleeps 4 – 2 queen beds Bedroom 4 – sleeps 4 – 2 queen beds What to Bring. LINENS: Bring linens and towels, pillows, blanket/bedspread are provided. TOWELS: Bath towels, washcloths, kitchen towels and pool towels. CHAIRS: Bring folding or sack chairs to take to the river. The chairs at the rental should not be removed from the property. PAPER GOODS: Paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, paper plates, plastic cups, plastic ware. SOAP: Dishwashing, laundry and hygiene products BBQ: There are BBQ cooking utensils, but remember to bring charcoal/lighter/matches. Your kitchen is complete with dinnerware, silverware, glasses, basic cookware, coffee pot, microwave, pots & pans. We provide: • Coffee filters • Daily garbage pick up service We do not provide: • Tall kitchen bags • Paper towels • Hand soap • Shampoo • Dishwashing liquid/powder • Salt & pepper • Toilet Paper NOTE: If it is an all adult group (18 years +) then ALL GUESTS MUST BE 25 YEARS OR OLDER! The only thing was that the mattresses were hard to sleep on upstairs and downstairs bedrooms. But that won't stop us from going back.

First off, let me start by saying it is a great location. One other house is close by, but there is definitely a lot of privacy. Upon the arrival of the home and inspection windows were broken, blinds were broken or missing. There was no fire extinguisher and the air condition filter was extremely dirt. Emailed the office to get the AC filter and fire extinguisher but received no response. The windows were so dirty that you couldn’t even enjoy the view outside. The refrigerator outdoor took two days to cool and the indoor refrigerator was missing a vegetable container. the beds are extremely hard and making a lot of noise. The dishes where so dirty we made sure to give everything a scrub before using. If you are planning to cook for a lot of people make sure you take your pots and pan because the ones available are very small. Under the beds very dirty as well. Overall great location but DIRTY.
