The unit had a musty odor upon check-in from what appeared to be from not being open up to fresh air for period of time. Cleared up after a day. Windows could use a good cleaning as the visible mildew was unappealing and initial reaction, upon check-in, was we rented a dud (especially with musty odor). Unit was a tad light in furniture and could use a love seat or recliner chair added. The beds were somewhat uncomfortable and could use a replacement. Sunsets from the deck were the BEST! Overall, the unit was great! I would definitely recommend and would re-visit!

The area is my favorite place to stay! We’ve stayed on this street over 10x. The pool was amazing, the views & dock were the best part! Super quiet area. The house is def old school Florida keys but a/c was cold bed was comfy. We had a few things that needed attention but Frank was quick to respond. We’ll be back

We were very excited to stay in this home in Marathon. Frank called a few days before our arrival and told us that the inspector asked him to shut down the dock until the repairs could be inspected again. He offered to heat the pool and gave us 3 kayaks at no extra charge.When we arrived, we found some safety issues with the property outside that we addressed with Frank over the phone. They were resolved. The next day we discovered an issue inside the house. We told Frank we would fix those items ourselves. Frank kindly reimbursed us for the supplies. The house location is EXCELLENT. The laundry facilities are also excellent. The beds are very comfortable. The TV is gigantic. Some apps are available, there is no cable or dish service. We used data on our phones and didn't try the internet. There was no problems with the wifi connection to the TV, so the internet must be good too.There is no beach, it is the Gulf side of the Keys, but the pool was wonderful. Our grandchildren swam for hours at a time!There is a nice screened porch for family dinners. The pictures of the listing are old, the living room furniture is not what is shown. There is only one couch, and it is comfy! The A/C works well, but is loud when it starts up. There are a few maintenence items that could be tightened and tweaked. It is a nice house for a week's stay in the middle keys.
