This is the property for you! An easy walk to public beach access only a block away! Enjoy partial lagoon views from the deck. Paved walking trail on W. Lagoon Ave. This home features 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a full sized sleeper sofa in the living room making it perfect for a couple or small family. One full bathroom upstairs and a full bath with a shower in the laundry room downstairs. Updated kitchen equipped with the cookware and utensils needed to prepare a meal. Mini split and window unit heating and cooling. Wi-Fi and smart tv's are available - no satellite or cable. Popular Gulf Shores restaurants, shops, and entertainment all within minutes of this property. Come enjoy all that Gulf Shores has to offer! ADDITIONAL DETAILS * Free guest parking - room to park 2 vehicles on site. * Amenities include free WiFi, 2 smart tv's, and fully equipped kitchen, outdoor deck. * Linens come furnished, but please bring your own beach towels. * Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom. POLICIES * NO Smoking. * Must be at least 25 years old to book. * Check-in is 4 p.m. or later. Cute, dog-friendly bungalow in walking distance to a small grocery, fresh seafood, an awesome restaurant/bar, ice cream shop, and the public beach. We brought our dogs who had a ball. Although we did not know that Gulf Shores has a no-dogs-on- beach ordinancy. So, we actally brought them for no reason.

Overall our stay was good. The location was an easy 3 minute walk as stated. The kitchen was updated nicely. Great water pressure in the showers. I would Recommend adding sheets and pillows for the pull out couch and outside solar lights on the stairs to the deck and lights over the patio next to the basement. It was very dark out there trying to clean up beach accessories to pack in the vehicle..

This was a wonderful, quiet location for a getaway vacation for my sister and myself. The house is just right for two adults. It's a place to cook, sleep and relax, not luxury but practical. Walked a lot on the nearby beach in the early morning before heading out for an adventure. Did most activities in the morning and evening, spent time sitting on the deck just admiring the view in the middle of the day. Kitchen for cooking and laundry available.Close to everything, went to different beach locations daily. Found a lagoon island to sunbathe and watch wildlife. Spent time at several restaurants, The Hangout, Beach House Kitchen, and Janinos, all great food, fair prices. Parking passes good all day at any public parking for a low price, you can go to the beach, eat a nice dinner and do some shopping on the same pass! We'll be back.

Pros: Clean, easy check-in/check-out process, updated kitchen, cold AC, quiet area
Cons: Only four sets of towels (one per person per day, so be prepared to wash towels every day), very outdated interior (including furniture), bathtub not able to be used for baths (no plug and peeling paint), bedroom door is warped and very hard to close, **the absolute worst mattresses ever**, soft spots in floor that made me a little nervous.
It’s hard to overlook the negatives for the price. I think a new mattress, a couple of cheap extra pillows, and enough towels for a couple of days would improve customer retention.
Owners/property managers seem to have been stolen from—that’s the vibe anyway. It’s weird to only provide the bare minimum on something you should have pride in. Everything looks like it came from a thrift store. Everyone is forced to buy insurance, throw in a couple extra towels and pillows for your guests.

Get location of the property. Beach located across the street. Owner was very quick to address concerns with stains on the bedding. Housekeeper brought new bedding promptly. Home was older but well kept. Noticed a dish not washed in the cabinet, but soap provided for cleaning. Great water pressure in the shower. Would stay here again for a quick beach getaway. If you want a luxury apartment this is not the place, but for a clean place near the beach and good pricing, this is the place.

This beach house was the perfect size for my wife and myself to enjoy a relaxing, four-night vacation in Gulf Shores. Having a full-service convenience store and restaurant right around the corner was an added bonus. The house was clean and included a nice array of household essentials. The walk to the beach took no more than 3 minutes. The only issue was locking the door when leaving. We could not get the lock to work after trying multiple times. We would whole-heartedly recommend this lovely place. Thanks!

My husband and I were so happy we chose this cute house! The location was AMAZING. We could see the bay from the big front porch. The beach is less then a 5 minute walk. There is great little grass area for our pup. We will absolutely be staying here again

House is an easy one block walk to the beach which is great! The house is old but was clean overall. Just be aware that's more of a two person house, rather than a three person. The pullout couch bed is not sleepworthy so the three of us squished into a queen. Thankfully my daughter is only 7 and doesn't take up much space. Other than that, no complaints! The property owner was kind and very helpful.

This place was perfect for me, my husband and our dog. It was a very short walk to the beach and it was quiet! The inside of the home is very nice and clean. The only issue we had (I know has nothing to do with the host of this home) but was the neighbor next door (I am assuming they live there full time) they let their dog run free outside and it came over to the house several times while we had our dog outside on a leash. It was also a huge German shepherd and made us very nervous with our small dog. I just want others to be aware to keep their dog close while outside, as we did not know we would face a loose dog so many times while we were there. Overall we had a nice stay.

Love this property. It is a older home but pretty well maintained. The bathtub has been painted and the paint is peeling off. But and I can’t stress this enough. The water pressure is incredible. Will 100% be booking again. The downstairs laundry has excellent storage for all your beach toys or fishing gear. Loved it.

We enjoyed going to play pickleball at the new courts in gulf shores. The house was so convenient to the beautiful beach. Could walk to restaurant and small grocery. loved eating most of our meals on deck. . Lots to do. And the check in was so easy. Hope to go back.

Had a problem with air conditioning installed a new one the next day. Great location. Good restaurant one block away. Dogs are not allowed on beach but right next to us was the lagoon where our dog was able to swim and run along the sand.

The cottage was clean and well located for those who prefer to walk. It was just a few blocks to the beach in one direction and a great local restaurant in the other.
Perfectly sized for 2 people, we had everything we needed (except a little more sun). Would recommend.

Nice clean home. This home is in a great location! Close to everything, beach, restaurant, ice cream shop or small grocery store. We didn't have to get back into our car until it was time to go home.

Couldn't use the basement and you couldn't get to it from the inside. Didn't know there was an easement to the upper house. Grass was not mowed and I have a 4 pound dog. A big roach fell on my head when I was asleep. We did like the walk to the beach. If we knew all of this we wouldn't have rented it. Texted them and NO answer.

It was a relaxing and quiet location. Just a short walk on a sidewalk to the beach. There’s also a paved walkway or runway for people wanting to run, push a stroller, ride a bicycle, etc. Ceiling fans in every room made the house atmosphere cozy. The ground level floor had a shower to wash off the beach sand. I loved that! Washer and dryer in ground level made it convenient to wash your clothes after a day at the beach or fishing.

We were visiting from Texas and this was our first time in gulf shores and it was amazing. The house was nice and clean, everything was well kept. We could talk to and from the beach and if you really felt like just walking everywhere you could do that also. It was overall a fantastic trip ajd would definitely book again

This place was perfect for my wife and me. Well within walking distance to the beach and our favorite ice cream spot in Gulf Shores, Island Ice Cream and Treats. Definitely recommend!

This rental was perfect for our 5 day getaway. We loved the shower, toilet and washer/dryer downstairs. The air conditioner units worked perfectly and we were always comfortable while we were inside. The location was centrally located We felt safe and they have wonderful sidewalks to ride bicycles and power walk in front of the unit. The kitchen had every utensil and pot and pan to cook with. The refrigerator and freezer were spacious and the oven even has two baking areas. An upper and a lower. The two smart TVs were easy to set up. We enjoyed our streaming apps and used our laptop in the main living room to watch our favorite shows. We will be back to rent this treasure again! John and Lisa from Daphne, Al
