Situated in Estero Island, this attractive condo for $117 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. We're back and better than ever following Hurricane Ian! Welcome to Dolphin Beach Retreat, your unique place in paradise! This newly remodeled property is located mid-island with the beach access just steps across Estero Boulevard. A quiet relaxing location for that desired getaway, yet just a short walk along the beach is a kiosk for jet-ski rentals, parasailing rides, and even dolphin tours along a 7-mile stretch of white, sugary sand beach. Super convenient to the supermarket and an upscale bistro on the bay. Trolley service along the boulevard is available to transport you to Times Square, with all of its restaurants, clubs, and night life. The property has a fantastic lanai porch with ambient evening lighting that leads to the property entrance. The nicely furnished living area has comfy sofa, TV with Roku and YoutubeTV. Dining area finds a table seating 4, and a fully equipped kitchen. Everything is available that you would need to cook daily multi-course dinners, or simply make a pot of coffee in the morning. There are two beautifully decorated bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, closet, and plenty of dresser space and an ensuite bathroom! The second bedroom has twin beds that can be pushed together to create a King. Downstairs common area has a washer and dryer. There's a propane grill that is shared. All lower levels have evening ambient lighting and privacy lattice work surrounds this area. You'll also find parking space accommodating 2 vehicles. While the beach is as inviting as ever, please note that the Fort Myers Beach area is rebounding from Hurricane Ian and not all amenities are available yet. Construction and rebuilding is present on the island and moving fast. The current status of restaurants and other amenities on the island is in a state of change and island amenities may not be available or operating. There are many restaurants and shops a short drive north across the bridge towards south Fort Myers. The same is true if you drive south towards Bonita Beach. Water activities abound with fishing charters, scuba and snorkel adventures, jet ski rentals, para-sailing, etc. Fort Myers, Bonita Springs and Naples are all modern cities with plenty of shopping, dining and sight seeing to experience. The South West International Airport in Fort Myers is close by for convenience as well. For our guests with allergies, this property is non-smoking. STR #22-0276

The property is well maintained and the neighborhood is quiet.The biggest problem is there is no heat. Most places in SW Florida have combp a/c and heaters. Here they only had a/c. After complaining, the manager did provide two very small electric heaters and some blankets. This is inadequate when night time temperatures drop lnto the 40s.

I loved this property!! My favorite place was the huge screened in porch! I will use coastal breeze again.

The house was clean, spacious and convenient. I loved the screened in porch we spent most of our time there when we were not out and about. I hope to go back at a later date.

Inside was great! I would suggest that the yard to this property be cleaned up. Manager was very responsive.

The house was very nice! Considering the damage around that area due to Ian. It was clean, nicely remodeled and the location was perfect. Very close to the beach! Beds are a little bit hard, and we had some leaks on the kitchen, but once I contacted the property manager it was taken care of. I highly recommend!!

My family and I checked into the property Friday 4/28. As soon as we got to the property, we took the key out of the lock box and realized the door wasn’t locked. Once inside the property we realized the main sliding glass door to the living room only locks from inside, and the key does not work at all to lock from outside. The only other door was a sliding glass door in the primary bedroom. That door did not lock either. We contacted the property management company right away to tell them of the issue. The property management company emailed back on 4/30 and said their maintenance man would be out the next day which would have been Monday 5/1. We also informed the property manager in email on 4/28 that the WiFi was not working and was told they’d schedule a technician to fix it. The maintenance man didn’t show up 5/1, so we called the office 5/2 and received a recording saying they’re only open Mondays and Thursdays. 5/2 we received another email saying they’re waiting to hear from the owner about the WiFi and that the maintenance man should be there that day. The maintenance man did not showing 5/2. We also emailed the property management 5/1 because we were given 4 bath towels, and 8 washcloths for four people to last 10 days, and the washer/dryer was out of service. We finally received towels and WiFi 5/4, but no maintenance man for the lock. Since we were unable to lock the property, we had to keep all our medications/valuables with us. Very unprofessional management!

We booked fully understanding there may be some interruptions to services (didn’t complain no wifi or tv, no outdoor lights, screens missing) bc of hurricane impacts. What we didn’t expect was the inability to lock door when we left and no power in half the home. Agency was not helpful in their responses, the after hour service no longer under contract with them, supposedly sent maintenance person after several days there and reported lock worked which was impossible as mechanism was completely missing. Videos/photos sent right away to VRBO and no resolution from either them or agency. Will not book with VRBO again nor recommend this property mngmt.

We booked on 01/13/2023 and arrived on 02/08/2023. The listing stated that amenities in the town, such as restaurants & beaches, may not be open but stated NOTHING about the rental lacking anything. We arrived to find: 1)the door was unlocked and the key would not lock the door (We could only manually lock from the inside; could NOT LOCK when leaving) 2)half of the facility didn't have electricity; kitchen, dinning, extra bedroom & extra bathroom (we had to use a flashlight to cook in the early am and evening) 3)the HVAC didn't work(no air conditioning & no heat), 4) the kitchen window had no screen another full of holes. Problematic with no hvac 5)there was no washer dryer as stated in the listing. 6)the dishwasher was not attached to the floor or counter and was unusable. 7)some of the new flooring was peeling up creating tripping hazards. We reached out to Coastal Breeze rentals starting 2/8. They had office hours Mondays & Thursdays 9-4, so we left a message then emailed them as well. They said they would "work on getting a contractor out" but none came. We continued to update them but Costal Breeze said there was nothing they could/would do. The after hours maintenance company given did not contract with Costal Breeze any longer. Hurricane Ian hit in Sept. 2022. It should not have been rented after that. It was a mess & we are hoping for some refund. Local amenities can be done without. Standard safety not so. They removed the rental listing thank goodness.
