Stayed here for a weekend and enjoyed the surrounding areas of Oro Valley. Big enough space and accommodations for two. Plenty of air conditioners for the hot weather which was needed. Small plug in heater for the chilly weather but we didn't need to use it. Nice bbq/fire pit area in the front of the guest cottage which sits adjacent to another cottage on the property. We brought our cattle dog which needed to be crated while we were out of the cottage. If you are arriving with groceries, ask to have the refrigerator turned on, it took a few hours to get cold. Laundry room was available nearby but we did not use it. The place had all the comforts of home. I have a bad back and found the King bed to be extremely comfortable! The price is reasonable and we had no trouble checking in or contacting the host with questions. We would differently stay here again.

Great little place with awesome views and neighborhood. Would stay again. Only issue was collection of dust on ceiling fans, air-conditioning units, and base boards. Guess they missed those last time they cleaned. We’ll be back assuming those are addressed next time. God Bless!

My husband and I were visiting friends in Oro Valley. We found the location of this property very convenient and peaceful. Virgil is a responsive host who is committed to making your experience a good one.

This well located property gave us the perfect opportunity to explore the beautiful parks and view the desert scape all around. The little walled patio was perfect for our 8lb pup. The bed was super comfy and the desert sunset views were fabulous. All amenities were close by and we loved the Savaya coffee shop nearby. The owner was very helpful in answering our questions as we traveled South from Canada. We would recommend this vrbo to those wanting their own place especially with reasonable kitchen facilites.

Host was welcoming, property was everything pictured and the location is perfect. Parking couldn't have been easier.

Pro: very clean Nice yard for the dog Decent kitchen amenities but basic- no oven or stove which we wouldn’t have used but does have coffee maker, small refrigerator, microwave and toaster oven. Excellent location for us to visit nearby family. King size bed very comfortable. Cons: Extremely narrow tiny shower. Bedroom large enough for bed only. Would be nice to have a night stand at both sides of the bed.

pros: nice bed, great view, friendly and helpful owner cons: i think the owner may just not be fully aware of some things that truly need attention, but i plan to let him know directly on those matters, as i genuinely think he would probably want to take care of them for future guest.

This property is in a phenomenal location with good access to hiking, biking, shopping and sightseeing. The guesthouse needs some work: 1. Bathroom shower in bad shape. The host informed us that a contractor was coming in May to address it. 2. The kitchen has few supplies especially for a long term stay, so bring your own knife and can opener. The freezer needs defrosted. 3. We had to buy our own space heater as the existing one does not work well. 4. Outside furniture needs painting. The windows need cleaning as the views are so great!! Outside of the shower, these are easy fixes as this place has a ton of potential.

I believe in giving an honest review . I have stayed in many places and this was a disappointment. The view and location was wonderful along with a comfortable bed.. Was challenging with- out a porch light- entrance( no Bulb) Only 2 rough towels with no face cloths (requested face clothes and got no response) The walk- way had a cactus plant( near the front door walk way-. I got pricked when it was dark coming back from dinner. A visitor had to park 2 blocks per Owner's request on the streets down the hill from the cabin when they was plenty of safe able parking. No lighting available for the visitor to walk after the gate entrance. (A block from the cabin driveway) My visitor parked in the wrong spot due to my mistake on his instructions and he was rude and disrespectful and told me our friend had to leave. ALL he had to say can you move the car down at the street! Too bad it would be a wonderful stay because the cabin was nice itself- but no place to sit except the kitchen wooden bar stool and desk chair.. A small couch would have been great! I feel if the owner made changes would be a great place due to the location! Had I known I would have stayed in hotel.
