All the staff were amazing, and I had a fantastic night. I had an early start next morning, and the guys kindly left me a packed breakfast ready for first light.The location couldn’t be any better, with secure motorcycle parking, so close to the old town. I can definitely recommend Hotel Alkhalifa to anyone exploring Morocco by motorcycle.

As I was traveling on motorbike, it was important for me to park the bike at the hotel playground. The GPS sent me off one street but in general the hotel is at one end of the village near a large carpark. One can easily stroll into the village and close to the hotel are the steps which lead you up the hill to the Spanish Mosque, highly recommendable to see the sunset and have a mint tea, which was exceptional. The room is clean and basic, the shower also and the showerhead had little pressure, but all worked well and to my surprise you could see the mosque through the small window. The views from the room are nice and overlook part of the village. The staff was friendly but a little lack of communication due to the language. Breakfast was poor in comparison with the next rihads or guesthouses I visited afterwards, this was my first stop on my mini tour. Overall I am happy with a roof over my head, so that was ok, the price is a bit high compared to others but Chefchaouen is a pretty touristic place so that´s probably why.
Breakfast could be worked on, the rooms need some modernisation.
