The beach was great, and close by, we could easily walk there. The clarity of the sea water was unreal! Swimming was only possible in the a.m. due to the tides. But we had use of a pool on the resort premises. A large Hotel on the beachfront provided all sorts of water sport activities, at a cost. Restaurants in abundance. Prices much higher though, than what we would pay in Phuket. Coffee, tea and hot water provided in the morning and most of the day.
We got what we paid for :) Many long tail boats active in the only area where one could swim.

- The village is full of nice locals and good restaurants
- The beach is pretty nice and quite
- The front manager was rude. I felt like I they were doing a favor by letting me stay there.
- The received treatment changes according to your nationality, expect rudeness if you’re not European.
- The room was full of mold and the bed sheets were stained
- The hotel is far away from any activity you wanna do in phi phi and the staff won’t offer much help towards your transportation to these places

I was at first totally surprised by the super-professional and fast communication via the booking-app.
The "service-team" responded immediately and very friendly to every single question and gave tips for a save and sound journey, especially for the boat-transfer to the north part of the island.
At Ton-Sai-Pier somebody waited with for us with a Name-sign and led us to the other side of the beach to another taxiboat to the north part (at this time we did not know that this was the only way to the north part... do NOT believe GoogleMaps - there is NO road in between!).
At the north beach our always very friedly host waited for us, took our luggage and drove us to the "Resort"....
...we arrived at the resort which is in the backyard of some street-shops, directly behind some bars, a radio-tower, and an old half dried sewage-filled "river".. I'd say swamp.
We entered our bungalow 105 and were greeted by an old and piercing smell of mold.
The whole bungalow could only be described as hazardous.
There was green and black mold on the pillows, the sheets and blankets had dark and multicoloured stains, the furniture were partially damaged, locks were missing, the faucet in the "wet-cell" was green-yellow-rotten....
I even found a "collection" of old cut fingernails in the drawer of my so called nightstand...
The whole situation was simply a danger to our health and if there hadn't been so many moskitos in the swamp (sorry... river) we would have slept on the beach.
We took a few looks to other bungalows and talked to some people there... and it was not much better at the other bungalows.
We decided to stay one night on one mattress in our own sleeping bags which we've brought for stays in hostels.
....the other mattress was totally damaged, the springs came through the topper.
Talking about sleep.... there was party in the local bars with extremely loud music until about 2 am... and at 5 am the Muezzin called us over the speaker with high volume to the morning prayer.
We then packed our backs and went to the front desk where the host was a bit confused why we wanted to leave.
He was really in worry if "anything was wrong" and if he could change anything, and I totally believe that he was serious, but there was nothing to "change" except tear down the complex and rebuild it.
Later we found out that the "very friendly service team" was a paid external service provider who may never have seen the "resort" in real life.
We've attached some photos, so you can see what we've experienced.

it was central in the village, near to restaurants
not really suitable for families or young people may find this part of the island too quiet.
beaches and surrounding could be cleaner.

the resort is on the lovely, quieter side of the island and close proximity to about 3 lovely beaches and some cracking restaurants and bars, there’s also a boat taxi service to the party side of the island that the hotel staff will help with.
You really can not fault the staff at all, they’re insanely helpful and wonderful and really made the stay extra special :-)

I very much appreciate the communication with the hotel reception via messages. We were given exact instructions on what time the hotel employee would come to pick us up. The beach was clean, with beautiful sand, clean clear sea. Excellent restaurants and bars around the beach.
Furniture in the bungalow is worn, however quite sufficient for an overnight stay.
Staff very nice, helpful and friendly.
Thank you

The washroom needs to be updated. The appliances are very worn out. The pool was closed.

The owner of the hotel is very nice and helpful. He He also organized transport back to the main pier for us, for only 100thb each. Bungalows are basic. This place is good alternative to the fancy and more expensive resorts in that spot of the island.

Best breakfast I had on my travels. Friendly staff. Awesome villas. There are cheaper stays but this is worth every baht.

The staff was warm and welcoming and the guys who help bring you in the boat and carry all your luggage were always fantastic and super helpful. The location on that part of the island was great and the bungalows are very cute. It's a shame that they couldn't keep them up Better or fix things up as it is mo soon season and they barely had any guests. Most the staff just sat around all day with nothing to do except sit and play on their phones every time we passed. The luxury Bungalow wasn't really luxurious but compared to the smaller bungalows they are. We would stay here again though. It worked out to only $26 a day. I mean, in the states it would cost at least $100 a day. The pool was really clean and great
The toilet seat was broken and the toilet sprayer was clogged with lime. I asked that day if they could please fix it but they never did. The sheets were never changed in 5 days and on the 4th day they actually just flipped the sheets over and did the same with the comforter. I know this because both had rips in them. The rip that had been on my side was now on my husband's. The beds were super hard
