About this house rental
Beautifully updated home in the perfect location for exploring the Black Hills and Hill City! Walk downtown or hop on the 110 mile Mickelson trail system just a few blocks from the house! You will be delighted by the clean, bright open space and low cleaning fee!
With a modern kitchen, two queen bedrooms and two bathrooms, this vacation home is perfect for a family or two couples that want to enjoy all that the Black Hills have to offer and relax and enjoy the evenings.
This home boasts an additional bonus area with futon, washer and dryer, two sitting areas and a large back deck with gas grill.
The Villa is located just up the hill from the 1880 steam train depot and museum. You can wave at the tourists on the train as it rolls into the station but rest assured, the train won’t wake you from your slumber. It only runs a few times a day and is barely heard from inside the house! It’s sure to be a highlight of your stay!
The Villa is not a good fit for large groups or anyone traveling with a big rig (off street parking is required by the city-please inquire before booking if you have a camper, trailer, etc.).
This rental is for the entire main floor of the home. A basement with completely separate entrance is not included in this rental and is reserved for use by owners.
This home is equipped with security camera directed towards the front door.

OMGosh...this place. The day of our arrival, we left Blackhawk Colorado and decided to take a detour along the Peak to Peak Hwy, ultimately winding up in Estes Park before heading north to Hill City. Needless to say, we turned a 5.5 hour trip into just over 12 hours and was wore out by the time we arrived. We came in through Custer and arrived just as the sun was setting in Hill City. The home sits on a hill overlooking the small, quaint town of Hill City, just east of the 1880 Depot. The house was exactly as described, except for the bedroom that's adjacent to the back porch. After winding down from a long drive and having a cocktail, we decided to turn in. OMG...the bed y'all, what a great night sleep. Now, you might say it's because we were so tired from driving, but you will just have to experience it for yourself!As for the location, we stayed 5 days and were within an hour's travel of everything we wanted to see while we were on vacation. This house is the place to stay if you want to visit the Black Hills of South Dakota.

Great visit, excellent location. Home was well appointed. Kitchen well equipped. Would definitely recommend and it will be our family’s first choice when we return.
