The beach distance was was the highlight of this property. With golf cart rentals we were able to get to Publix, Bridge St, and to the shops on the north end of the island. This property was not within walking short distance of any of those things otherwise. Service with Verizon data and/or WiFi was extremely slow here. The home was very “used” with stains on every wall, blemishes on every piece of bedroom furniture, every toilet seat was marked up or stained, and the pool table room was too musty to hang out in. There was an alarm on the door to the pool that was so loud we couldn’t use that door. It was at ear level and even with an all adult party the owner would not let us remove the battery. The upper door battery was already removed Thank God. There was a storm before we arrived on Saturday and I received notification to please be patient as they would get to the cleaning of the pool Monday, but if we wanted to clean it we could use the net and that is what we did. (Pool company does not work on weekends). We then realized the heater in the pool and the hot tub were not working. I contacted the office and they said they had no one to fix it until Monday. I asked again Monday and they said the maintenance guy stopped yesterday (Sunday) & was unable to locate an issue. I told them the same issue still existed. Come Tuesday, still no sign of anyone with a cold pool & hot tub. When I asked they were certain he would be there that day. Needless to say, I called multiple times Tuesday & Wednesday asking to speak with a Supervisor only to be told she would return my call and that never happened. They offered us a pass to a hotel pool for the day & if we wanted to be in a public pool we would have stayed at a hotel for much less money, therefore I declined. Late Wednesday the pool guy shows up and backwashed the pool and everything worked fine after. The pump was in a locked facility or we could have done that ourselves. I understand storms and staffing issues, but the service was not efficient or professional with AMI in comparison to all others we have used. Post storm weekends should be staffed when paying high rates for these properties. I did request compensation after leaving and they agreed to a quarter of what I asked for. Sounds of water dripping or pipes expanding all night long in at least two bedrooms provided sleepless nights. We loved Anna Maria otherwise & will return to the island with a different company.

The property is in a great location, you can walk to the beach and to walk into town for meals. There is a Publix near by as well. The house was large, mostly clean and very comfortable for the group of 12. The reason I gave it 4 stars on cleanliness has to do with the tile floors and dishes/silverware. The cleaners must just sweep the sand off the floor because after walking downstairs in my socks they were completely black. The bathroom towels are nice, the beach towels/chairs are nice, however they can upgrade the toys. The pool table is completely torn and it smells like mildew in the room it is in, there are no boogie boards or umbrellas to use either. My biggest issue has to deal with the kitchen supplies. There is not enough silverware for eating, there are not enough coffee cups, they give you basically nothing in terms of supplies, and the cooking utensils are cheap and disgusting. Additionally, the blender did not work and the pots and pans were in very bad shape. When you have large groups like this it is important to be able to cook as it was practically impossible to get into a restaurant unless you go at 3:30. They should also provide more then 1 roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, more than one tiny beach towel, and more then one roll of paper towels in the kitchen. Additionally, some basic supplies like salt n pepper would be nice, coffee filters, sponges for the sink, and dishwashing soap. You are paying top dollar for this house and it is quite surprising how the little things can matter. I would suggest you take $500 and go to Target and upgrade all the silverware, plates, cooking utensils and cups - don't buy the cheap stuff because you get what you pay for. Also invest $25 for some additional supplies. I absolutely loved the home and the location, but sometimes the little things can make the trip an A+

The home was very spacious to accommodate our party of 11 people. Loved that it was an easy walk to the gulf beach and close to the Holmes Beach site with food and a gift store. We used the trolley a lot. There were a few house keeping issues that maintenance took care of pretty quickly. The backyard is mostly shaded- removing some vegetation would be nice to let in a little sunshine. We enjoyed our stay and love Anna Maria Island!

We stayed here August 2021 with family of 11 people, ages 10-75. Plenty of space in the house for everyone to have rooms and bathrooms. Amazing beach just a block away! Center of the island so it's a short distance going north or south for the day. Excellent home, would definitely stay again. Some things to note for renters and the property to management to care for: Minimal dishes in kitchen. We ended up buying 5 coffee cups at the dollar store as there was only 4 when we arrived No pantry items! No salt or pepper, no seasonings of any kind. Pantry was bare on arrival. We had to purchase everything, leaving pantry items behind, hopefully they were there for the next renters. Don't know if it gets gutted after each renter or maybe the last people used everything. We rent vacations homes each year and there is always at least seasonings from either the owners or past tenants. We arrived in the late evening so the only store open was Walgreens with slim food pickings for breakfast options. Went shopping next day and stocked up, so just fair warning to guests to be prepared. No toiletries in bathrooms. I expected that and brought all of my own and my families, but others in our group were surprised at that. Thought I would say it so other renters would know. The first 4 mornings there were at least 50-70 dead flies all over the living room, kitchen, hallways. I had to sweep them up each morning. There were still some after that, but not as many. There weren't many flying around and the ones that were were very lethargic. When I asked about it they said the exterminator had been there the week prior and perhaps that is why they were all dying. I would rather have them dead than that many flying around the house, but it was pretty gross to wake up to each day Bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean. Some furniture, like night stands, were a bit beat up, but I can only imagine in a rental home. A good cleaning of them would really help though. We had some trouble with the settings on the tv on arrival. Someone had put a parental code on the Fire TV that no one seemed to know. They had a tech come out right away and got it fixed and helped us out. Great customer service and fast help Outdoor shower was awesome! Outdoor furniture was nice and in good shape. Pool was clean. My husband did have to skim it each morning but easy to do. Exterior of house needs annual cleaning. Pool table room needs new carpet and a room fan. No ac, it gets hot.
