Situated in San Miguel de Cozumel, this lovely condo for $272 per night is a great option for your next break. Casa de Esperanza is in the penthouse (8th floor) of the gorgeous condominium building right across the street from City Hall. You are 3 blocks from downtown San Miguel (Cozumel), a 2-minute walk to the shops along the ocean, and yet you are far enough away from the tourist bustle to enjoy the crystal-clear waters and quiet. From the balcony, you can enjoy the view that goes for miles across the Caribbean Ocean to Playa del Carmen, the Riviera Maya and Xcaret eco-park. Two bedroom suites each have their own private baths that are fully accessible. If you want to eat in, you can take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen with utensils and various small appliances. Wireless high-speed DSL is available so bring your laptop! The elevator takes you to the lobby (where there are laundry facilities) or the basement/garage, directly opposite the entrance to the beach and the tri-level pool. There is a boat dock and dive rinse tanks. Supermarket across the street and multilingual, full-time American management and concierge service provides daily maid service and can arrange for any number of activities- day trips to Xcaret, renting a scooter or car, babysitters, even private chefs. This is the perfect place!! All the dive operators on the Island pick-up and deliver right to your dock and then only a short walk to the rinse tanks. NOTE: Repair to balcony edges will be taking place starting Aug. 5th. There might be noise due to this. Should any minor accidental damages occur during your stay, we will cover you up to $1,500. We understand accidents happen, so we've got your back! However, if we determine damage was willful or negligent, we will charge an additional cost based on the damage itself. -We have a no-tolerance rule about parties and loud noise, so please be aware that complaints from neighbors, notifications from authorities, notifications from our noise monitoring software, or any other proof of disruptive behavior or loud noise between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM will result in fines of up to $1000.00, possible eviction and / or possible legal action if authorities are involved. -Please be advised that there is a noise coming from a resort next door. -Jan-Feb Possible noise due to Carnaval and local events. El Cantil is one of the best location on Cozumel. The staff managing this unit was extra helpful and was kind and flexible when we needed some help. When we return to Cozumel, 100% we'll be booking with them again.

Very nice condo! Enjoyed our stay and didn’t want leave! Had minor issues we requested help with from proper manager, but got no cooperation. Finally, gave up trying to contact her.

Nice condo with great location. Would have liked: Extra bath towels-only 2/bathroom until maid comes every other day. Instructions to operate TVs/multiple remotes-only able to get one channel on each TV Needs better matresses in bedroom with two twins pushed together- lumpy and well worn spots and small hard pillows.

Everything was as advertised and we had a great time. The view was amazing, but we were there when the temperatures reached records, so the west facing patio was hard to use until after sunset. One minor thing to fix is the keypad on the entry door, it needs to be replaced, as it usually took several swipes to get the key code to be visible.

Great location. Will never get used to scuba diving without pier pickup. Snorkelling of the pier is fun but watch for boats or float a flag. Hot tub is actually warm and was a relief during the rain storms. Condo is well appointed. Use of entertainment and subscriptions was a bonus. Kitchen is fully stocked including pool glasses and water bottles.

This was our second stay in El Cantil. We love the facilities and the location. The check-in was a piece of cake and the on-site staff are amazing. The condo was very nice, living up to the pictures perfectly. Housekeeping was on point, prompt, pleasant, and thorough. A couple thoughts that might be nice... having access to the in-suite washer and dryer, and maybe a bike or two for guests to use. Overall, it was an excellent vacation, and I wouldn't hesitate to book PHBS again!

Property was as advertised, great location on edge of town. Fully stocked with kitchen utensils, toiletries etc. 15 minute walk to most restaurants/town center. 2 large supermarkets on doorstep as was local decent gym. Beautiful ocean views to watch the world happening. Drawbacks to the location were the noisy all inclusive hotel next door (pool games, music and screaming people during the day and music til late at night) which made enjoying the balcony impossible--and could be heard vividly behind closed windows. Any happenings in the town square opposite are also clearly heard thru closed windows and storm shutters. The mornings were peaceful and awesome. The condo also has a washer/dryer room and cleaning utensils all kept behind a locked door. Why??? The lock to the safe was not reprogrammable and the lock number was given to us by the cleaner who also entered the property without notice or permission. Not acceptable?!

my husband and I really enjoyed staying in this unit. We love staying at El Cantil because of the ocean views, ocean access, pool, walkable distance from town and just overall great service and people. We have stayed in several units, but this one had a surprising amount of extras that made our stay very easy and we felt spoiled. Apple TV’s and speakers in every common room and bedrooms, nice appliances (even a margarita machine and yeti cups!), very nice furniture. We will definitely stay in this unit again when it is available.

We throughly enjoyed our stay in this condo. Location is fantastic--easy walk to 2 different grocery stores (Mega and Chedraui), liquor store (European), beach bar (Jeannie's), and easy cab ride to anywhere in town. Kitchen is well stocked for meal preparation and condo has plenty of room to spread out and relax. Ice machine in unit was a real treat. We're already looking forward to returning!

Looks like i'm the first to leave a review! I can't say enough great things about this property! We can't wait to return. The location is very convenient probably about a 10 min walk to downtown. We felt very safe, there was always a security guard outside the entrance and a key card is required to use the elevator. Check in was very easy the security guard gave us the elevator card and then there was a lockbox outside the condo we opened with a code. The condo was outfitted with everything we could ever need. All the utensils, nice insulated Yeti cups, an ice maker, filtered water, very comfortable beds and pillows. Ceiling fans throughout and good AC. Pool area was very nice and spacious and we were always able to get chairs without competition. If you scuba dive then the dive shops will pick you up right off the dock. If you snorkel the snorkeling is great right at the condo, no need to go elsewhere. There is a great grocery store right across the street that has everything you could need including ATMs and liquor.
