On rentals of 30 nights or longer there is no city bed tax, but the renter is responsible for the entire gas and electric bills from check-in to check out, based on meter reads. A utility deposit, which is in addition to the security deposit, will be taken to guarantee payment of the utility charges. The City of Indian Wells requires an additional written contract which you will be sent before your arrival. The city also requires that renters supply a copy of their government-issued ID and license plate numbers of personally owned vehicles. Please note: all legitimate, licensed vacation rentals in Indian Wells follow city-wide vacation rental laws to remain in business. These include occupancy limits, good neighbor policies, party-free homes, the collection of separate bed taxes, no outdoor music permitted, minimum age of 25, and an actual contract signed by the responsible renter. This adds an extra step to the quick booking process, but we believe you will find our beautiful Indian Wells property is worth the extra effort.
