Northern Knights Sky View Cottage is a NEW three-bedroom, two bathroom house in the heart of Dark Sky Country.
The house is located in a very isolated rural farming area 30 minutes from the Cherry Springs Dark Sky Park which boasts the darkest skies in the eastern USA. Don't want to drive? Just go outside and look up!
We are ATV-friendly with a huge driveway specifically designed to accommodate trailers. Miles of ATV-legal roads and trails are accessible from our driveway.
The house is just 7/10 of a mile from trail heads of the Susquehannock State Forest.

Wonderful property, incredibly quiet, wide open inside & out and peaceful. Great location, off the beaten path yet only 15 minutes from town. Has pretty much everything you need. Much nicer and more comfortable than staying at a hotel. The pavilion with grill was a great outdoor feature. We had amazing clear skies almost every night we were there, & captured some breathtaking photos (one of my husband’s hobbies is astronomy/astrophotography) We’d normally go to Cherry Springs State Park in years past, but they’ve commercialized it into more of a tourist stop and we just prefer more privacy, which this property has! My daughter enjoyed walking in the backyard looking at all the wildflowers and spotting deer. My kids slept really peacefully here! (We have a 3 year old and 9 month old, so any quiet time is a plus lol) The washer/dryer was an added perk so the ability to do laundry before we went home was an added bonus!Only thing to mention is be mindful of cooking on the gas stove, the smoke alarm is very sensitive! Open the windows and turn the ceiling fan on before any cooking, we found that to be the trick to alleviate the sensitivity :) We will be back! 10/10 recommend! Thanks again!!

The host was great. He answered a lot of questions ahead of time and altered our timing to accommodate us better. The property was great as well. Very nicely decorated and very clean. It was a pleasure staying there. We plan on staying there again.

This place was amazing! Awesome amenities inside and outside. Will definitely go back at some point. If you dont mind some driving there is plenty of nice day trips. Night time sky is unbelievable!
