Nestled in St Joseph, this lovely house for $490 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Gorgeous 4 BR/3BA home on the St. Joseph River just 1 mile from Silver Beach. This home is perfect for families. Situated on a gated island, this beautiful home has panoramic views of the St. Joseph river and channel. This home offers an open kitchen, dining, and living area, 2 large decks that offer panoramic views of the St. Joseph River, open grass areas and walkways throughout the gated community with the pool located conveniently right next door. Location: Just 90 minutes from Downtown Chicago, this fully furnished home will let you relax in a fun-filled small town that will entertain you with activities for the whole family. The house is 1 mile from the historic downtown and 3 county beaches. Basics include: WIFI access, Smart (or smart-enabled) TVs, gas grill, microwave, dishwasher, central air conditioning, and 2 in the garage and 2 driveway parking spots. Bedrooms and bathrooms: Upstairs the main bedroom has a queen sized bed. The associated bathroom has a luxurious tub and a separate walk-in shower. The two other upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom and have queen beds. There also is a large loft area that opens to the upper level deck. It is great place to relax and watch TV. There is are two futon couches and a sofa that makes a great area for kids to hang out. Off the entrance and next to the first floor bedroom (*this bedroom holds a pullout bed/couch) is the 3rd full bathroom. Kitchen: Here you will find an up-to-date kitchen which is fully furnished with all the cookware and dishes needed to prepare a gourmet meal. Dining: There is a large dining area adjacent to the kitchen and living room with a table that sits 6 comfortably. There is a counter height/bar area with 4 barstools as well. Living room: This area features a stone fireplace in addition to a relaxing view of the river. Two sliding doors give access to the lower deck. There is a sleeper sofa for kids or that extra guest. The open floor plan and 2 large decks allow for lots of space to enjoy your vacation. Unique to this house is that you have access to a pool, hot tub (both open seasonally) and a small park with playground and grassy area for play. In a short drive is the quaint downtown St. Joseph with great shopping and restaurants. Also, the Whirpool Compass Fountain (splash pad), Silver Beach Carousel, Curious Kids Museum, all with a background of some of the most beautiful beaches in SWMI. Wheelchair accessible entrance with first floor bedroom accessibility as well. Maximum number of guests is 8. Exceeding the maximum will result in the forfeit of monies paid and termination of occupancy. This home is not to be used for any parties or special events.

House was better than expected! There were 7 of us ranging from ages 6 to 78 and we all loved it! Very clean and plenty of room. Right next to the pool and river. We had such a great time and will keep this property on our must visit again list.

Beautiful location, love watching the boats, deer, birds,.The condo was very nice, clean. A few little things could be improved, WiFi did not work most of the week, garage door opener did not work, a few smoke detectors needed batteries replaced. We left a pass for Silver Beach to the next renters, as it was not provided. Overall a great place though and definitely would rent it again.

We really enjoyed staying at this property! It was relaxing by the water and fun watching the boats go by. Conveniently located near our boat and a short drive to downtown shopping And restaurants. Will definitely book for next year!

Amazing vacation!

Amazing vacation!

Our family (all nine of us) had a wonderful experience in this beautiful lake house! The location and description of the area were perfect and allowed us plenty of time for family fun activities that included pool time, playground fun, beach and swimming on Lake Michigan and campfires in the evening. We had a great week here! We had a bit of trouble getting into the gate but it was quickly resolved. The property owner replied to any of our questions promptly. We’re already planning on returning next year.
