Pet-friendly property that was voted best short term rental in Columbia by Livability online magazine! Modern home in Columbia's "Rosewood" neighborhood features spunky decor. Very close to the USC campus/stadium, Fort Jackson, zoo and museums. Convenient to amazing dining, shopping, and entertainment. Colorful, Mid Century Modern design. Comfort mixed with class. You will enjoy the pops of colors everywhere. Kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking gear you need to enjoy a nice meal in your home away from home. Off street parking with assigned spaces are right outside the door. Home is two levels. The top level holds the bedroom and full bath. The bottom level holds the kitchen, dining area, half bath and living room. The living room contains a full size sofa bed. It is so much nicer than a typical sofa bed. The pull out ottoman completes the couch into the bed. This will be comfy place with privacy away from the bedroom. You all so enjoy this bed while watching TV or laying beside the fire. The Neighborhood Rosewood is a vibrant and historic in-town residential neighborhood with eight beautiful parks, tree-lined streets, commercial and industrial districts, and a public airport. We also have a community orchard, two community gardens, high school sports stadiums, and City Roots–Columbia’s only urban farm! A charming mix of old and new make Rosewood one of Columbia’s most eclectic and attractive communities for young professionals, families, and seniors. Residents enjoy the friendly atmosphere, diversity, and convenience of in-town life and amenities. Getting Around There is nearby public transportation. USC football/ Williams Brice Stadium -3.47 miles Fort Jackson- 2.91 miles USC campus- 3.38 miles Five Points (dining, shopping, bars)- 2.69 miles Midlands Technical College- 1.48 miles SC state capital building- 5 miles

Overall it was okay for the weekend. The furniture does not match the pictures. Definitely only sleeps 2 comfortably. The owner was friendly and responded quick to all of my messages as well as phone calls.

Quaint and quiet property perfect for a short stay. Studio townhouse with all the amenities and close proximity to all the great things to do in Columbia. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks.

We stayed here for a night (09/28/23), only because it was late and we were exhausted from travel. The property has not been maintained to the level of the current photos. Furniture is missing and what is there is badly stained. The walls are scraped, marked, and stained. The hot water handle of the bathroom faucet was broken off and the shower was dripping. Overall the property was not well cleaned. There was litter out front and an overflowing trash can out the back door. The toilet was clogged. We had our trip canceled and refunded after we found a mess the cleaner had missed in the living area, which was poorly lit as the overhead light fixture had no working bulbs (the dining area’s light fixture had 1 out of 5 working).

It was absolutely perfect for our two week stay before becoming homeowners. The atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable with plenty to do for my boys! Bring your skateboards bikes scooters frisbies soccer balls kickballs ! Literally anything youre into

Didn't feel the pics and description prepared me for the property. All appliances were very dated and i did not feel comfortable cooking in the property. Pictures show furniture not in the unit. The couch was very small (not suitable as extra bed for anyone over 5) also not the one pictured. The upstairs bathroom didn't work and made noise all throughout the day and night. The property was not terrible but i would definitely recommend to update the pictures and show the outdated appliances not to surprise anyone. The stove and fridge are from the early 90's. The bathroom the 70's, paint and upgrades there as well would go a long way. I feel the ad should show how dated it is, not everyone has a problem with that. Some people do especially when not expecting it.

Quiet. Apartment has everything you need. Nice quiet little patio in back. I really enjoyed my stay here. Directly across from Owens Field park. My son loves it there. Great stay.

This house was excellent for our stay. It was located in a quiet neighborhood with a park within walking distance. The neighbors were extremely friendly. Will consider this property on our future travels.

We were moving from one home to another and my daughter needed a place to stay. This place was excellent. Great location, save, and owner was awesome. If I could rank it higher I would. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will be going there again during football season

Nice spot
Cute house! Place was clean and comfortable, other than the upstairs being a bit toasty. There was a ceiling fan and floor fan however, so it was no problem.

The garbage disposal was broken and a strong odor was coming from it. Refrigerator was rusty and walls stained. In the outside five garbage containers were close to the door and flies came inside the house as soon as we open the door.
I called vrbo to explain the situation and to ask for a refund since I could not stay there with my family. The representative, Daniel, told me there was nothing they can do and ask me to talk to the owner. He said vrbo was not responsible for this situation and there was nothing they can do for me. This is just absurd and the worst customer service experience I have ever had since I rented this unit through vrbo.
At the end I talked to the owner and he agree to give me a partial refund and cancel the reservation.We left and went to a hotel with a significant monetary impact on us.
Vrbo retained all fees I paid even though the reservation was canceled and we lost 60% of the money we have paid.
This is the worst experience I have ever had on renting a vacation property and I will never again use Vrbo services.

Cute place
Cute place to stay at a decent price. The apartment was stocked with the essentials minus paper towels. The bed and pillows were comfortable however the spare linens appeared not so fresh. Stayed with 2 adults and 2 children. We enjoyed the 2 tv’s with ample channel choices!

Great host, cute house
The small duplex was quaint and clean. Had most of what you need. The host was very accommodating and worked with us on departure. Parts of the neighborhood were transitional, but it was very quiet and there were no issues. We walked our dog at night and had no problems. Close to a park that has frisbee golf, skate park and soccer fields. Close drive to food and shopping.

Cozy clean cottage
Came up to Columbia to watch some UFGator baseball and needed a place to stay and keep my pups. This cottage is very clean albeit a little small. It was just right for our short stay. The bed is super comfy! Only little glitch was the TV downstairs had some issues and although the owner tried her best to get it resolved - no luck. Only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is it is a little hard to find. If I did not have navigation on my phone - I’d be lost in this little neighborhood. We would stay here again!

Great place to stay! Owner has thought of all the little things to make a stay away from home as comfortable and convenient as possible. The home is In a great location to restaurants, grocery stores, and other shopping. The neighborhood even has a nice park we were able to use to get in our daily run. Would definitely stay here again!

A little run down.
The bed and the pillows were very comfortable. The place is a little rundown. The pictures look better than it is in reality. Not the nicest of neighborhoods. I had to do some light sweeping in the kitchen and living room when I arrived and there was mold on the shower curtain. The really creepy thing was I had a box of donuts on the bar when I left, and when I came back a light was on in the kitchen which I did not turn on, and the box of donuts was gone. Which is kinda scary!! That means some with a key or the code came in while I was gone all day to my nephews army graduation. That's unacceptable!

Great Stay
We are from Columbia, and my husband and I and our 3 month old daughter stayed here for 3 weeks during a home renovation - and we had a great stay! I will admit that upon first approach, we thought the area was a little run-down, but every night was quiet, the neighbors were all super friendly, and we had absolutely no issues whatsoever. The kitchen is fully equipped and even stocked with spices and any cooking utensil you could ever need. The washer and dryer worked great. There is ample hot water and the water pressure is really good. The bed was firm which is exactly how I like it - it was a little too firm for my husband but he adjusted fine. The decor is great and the interior was spotlessly clean. Jenna, the owner, was super available and quick to respond to every communication. This is by far the best deal for an accommodation in town.

Clean, Great Value
We appreciated the easy in, easy out for this property. Our luggage didn't make it right away so I also appreciated things like shower gel being provided. Property was as advertised and a good value.

Great rental
I stayed at Jenna's rental for approximately 2 months while doing my clinical internship for school. Any problem I had Jenna was eager to help. The rental is very cozy and had everything I needed. I would definitely rent again if I come back to Columbia.
