Great spot in the heart of Ghent. Everything was clean and well looked after. There was even coffee and chocolates as a welcome.
On the first night the shower took some time to drain but we told staff and they fixed it immediately. Also the room we stayed was at the top of 3 flights of narrow spiral stairs which may be a consideration if you have large luggage otherwise no issue.

rooms were clean , tidy, tea and coffee materials supplied, beds good and nice clean fresh towels both rooms we had were quite quirky and fun to be in.
nowhere was it mentioned about amount of stairs to rooms or the fact it’s a small wooden staircase. 3 out of 4 of us have bad knees ( injuries ) which was why we wanted hotel close to town centre. the couple in the suite could not manage to use spa bath because of stairs to it and ourselves were very hard pressed to reach top floor room. I would not have booked this property if i had known about these steps etc

The location was awesome
The unit's ergonomic design is a head-scratcher and the unit needs maintenance. The lights would blink on/off. The big en-suite jacuzzi didn't work. The courtyard was beautiful but not really usable without a lot of insect repellant.
