60's Modern, Mountain Views, Pool, Near Studios and All L.A. Attractions! Apt 17
About this condo rental
Nestled in Burbank, this lovely condo for $138 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. We welcome you to spend your time with us in our newly remodeled, Modern, 1 Bedroom, 1 full Bathroom, 825 square foot Apartment. There are 2 flights of stairs and no elevator to access the apartment but the views are much more enjoyable. There are plenty of Large windows in the Living Room/Dining Room and a Large Sliding Glass Door in the Bedroom, all of which have blackout shades as well as Curtains or Louvers. This Apartment will sleep 4 to 5 with a Queen size bed, a King size Sofa/Bed. A Cot is available upon request. The Bedroom has a Queen size bed and an 8 foot, sliding, glass door that walks out on to your own personal balcony with seating and lovely Mountain Views! There is also a multi speed fan over the bed. The Full Bath has a Tub/Shower with Shower Curtains. and a dispenser which will provide you with Shampoo, Body Wash and Conditioner. A rather long vanity gives plenty of counter space and A mirror that spans the entire length of the bathroom gives an elegant feel and a sensation of a much larger area. The lighting is on a dimmer switch. The building is located near Griffith Park where 3 freeways merge in Glendale, Interstate 5, U.S. Highway 101 and State Route 134. No matter what direction you decide to venture, you are close to an on-ramp. A well maintained Swimming Pool is located downstairs with Beach Towels, 2 Lounge Chairs and Bench seating. Individual Chairs also surround the pool. We wanted to be responsible with our pool and have provided 100% Solar Heating but remember...most of the year, the Solar is more than adequate but if you are visiting us in the winter, the days may reach 80 degrees but the nights are long and cold leaving the water on the cool side. There is a 2nd level deck, overlooking the pool, which provides an eating/reading area with a glass table and 4 chairs. There are also 2 bench seats. Hot water for the building is also supplied by Solar and there is no need to worry about lack of hot water here. We have 5 Large capacity Storage Tanks and a large backup water heater. There is an on-site laundry with 2 washers, 2 dryers and a folding table. A covered, under building parking space is provided with lots of street parking as well. A wall heater and an in wall Air Conditioner provide for heat and Air Conditioning. For the enjoyment of the entire family, there is a 75" Smart Television with WiFi in the Living Room. A fully equipped Kitchen has a Refrigerator, Dish Washer, Flat Top Range, Microwave and a Large Stainless Steel Sink. Appliances include a Keurig Coffee Maker with pods, a waffle maker, toaster, blender and all the cookware and bakeware you may need to make you own creations. We also provide a Reverse Osmosis Water Dispenser, dispensing HOT, ICY COLD, or Room Temperature Water. You will also enjoy our many varieties of teas and sweeteners.

The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. The unit had all the amenities and more that you could think of. The fresh milk and eggs along with other snacks and cereal were all wonderful touches. The only small bummer was the low water pressure in the showers but otherwise this is a wonderful unit and only a 10-15 minute drive to Universal Studios and Griffith Park (assuming no heavy rush hour traffic).

Overall it was good but couple of things that need attention are
1. Shower water is very unpredictable i.e someone cold water starts and sometimes water becomes to hot while taking shower.
2. The bed in the main bedroom is squeaky as the head board hits against the wall
Other than that...the fridge was very nicely stocked and communication was super easy with the host

This is a great place in Glendale. A typical Mid Century Modern valley apartment complex that is very well kept. Descriptions are spot-on. Raymond and Sandy are excellent hosts and make the check-in process very simple. They make you feel at home like family with stocking essentials in the kitchen to keeping you informed via text if you have questions or concerns. Close to all things you want to do in the area. We plan to stay here again next year! Communication was stellar! Just wish there was an In N Out Burger in walking distance.

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights as we had plans to go to Universal Studios. We arrived late on a Thursday evening and informed the host who got back to us right away. It was so clean and comfortable! Didn’t get time to use the pool. I would definitely book here again when I come back to ca!

A great location. Minimal traffic, quiet neighborhood, and close to the freeway. Close to many attractions. We felt safe and comfortable. Parking was very easy. A little bit of a walk from the car to the unit and there are some stairs but nothing too crazy.

This apartment is giving neat, old school, mid-century, vintage Hollywood, palm tree mountain view vibes and we were totally here for all of it! Location was perfect for our Hollywood Bowl concert, and my dad and I loved the neighborhood. We walked to breakfast at V Boulevard Cafe and delicious Cuban dinner at Mambos. Plus a corner store a block away. My dad took a dip in the pool which was serene and quiet. I was loving the balcony off the bedroom. Ray and Sandy included some awesome little touches and amenities, plus the decor was so on-theme that it made our stay memorable and special. Communication was fast and they're kind and accommodating. This spot is close to freeways to go any direction, and not a bad drive to the ocean. Beautiful weekend, in part thanks to this great VRBO gem!

Its a perfect spot to stay if you're headed to Los Feliz or Greek Theatre. The kitchen was fully stocked and the property is nice with mountain views in multiple windows (including from bed). I would stay again and enjoy the pool next time

We had a great stay! I was skeptical about the parking and stairs because of other reviews I read but its was fine. It isnt a million stairs you have to climb to get to the apartment.
The host left a few essentials like eggs and milk, coffee and creamer! There were even pop tarts a cereal! Water! And cuties my children love mandarin oranges, they loved the snacks. Water pressure was low but its manageable and they provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash!
I would love to stay there again if we decide to spend the night in LA county. We live in Anaheim but hate to commute.

An awesome stay in this apartment. The location was excellent especially for WB tour, Hollywood sign and walk of fame etc.
Great space, lots of room and great to have the kitchen for use.

This property definitely met our expectations! We wanted a place close to Universal Studios and it was only a 15 min drive away. The place is clean and the host even has a stocked kitchen with groceries which was a total surprise but my kids definitely loved!! We definitely recommend this place to a family with children wanting to enjoy a quiet stay with a pool!

The apartment is very clean. It has all we need. The bedroom view is amazing. The parking is easy and safe. It’s a quiet area as I had sound sleep at night. I highly recommend it for a small group!

This apartment was just as advertised. It’s minutes from the freeway which made it easy to access for all our sightseeing experiences. The area felt safe and comfortable. Ray and Sandy were extremely responsive with any of our inquiries. The stocked fridge with a few essentials was greatly appreciated until we were able to get a few things of our own. We will recommend this place for anyone looking to spend some time in LA.

I would highly recommend this property if you are considering a stay in Glendale, CA. The description and photos of the property are very accurate. The apartment was clean and well kept. The hosts go out of their way to make sure their guests feel welcomed. I won’t go into details to allow future guests to be pleasantly surprised but I will say that these hosts are the best that I have come across since I began renting with VRBO 9 years ago. The apartment was perfect for our trip to Universal. We went to the Griffith Observatory Friday night and enjoyed a full day at Universal which was under 15 minutes away. The girls were thrilled with Fruit Loops in the cabinet and milk in the fridge. It was so much nicer than a hotel with the big TV, the dining table and the full kitchen. It was perfect.

There was cereal, eggs, butter, milk, pop tarts, bottled water, K cups, condiments, and so much more available. This saved us the first morning since we arrived too late to place a grocery order for delivery in time for breakfast. There was plenty of room for us and our two teenagers. Plus, it was a quick 10-15 minute Uber/Lyft ride to Universal Studios. It is so much better than what the pictures show and we would definitely stay there again!

Ray and Sandy are fantastic hosts - fridge was stocked with basics like eggs, milk, even some snacks. They were very responsive to texts and even agreed to mail us something we forgot when we left. We had an excellent time at this apartment. Very comfortable and spacious for a family of five. Only a 12 minute drive to Universal Studios. The hosts thought of all the little things to make our stay better. From shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom to coffee pods and basic food items in the fridge. For future guests - there is no cable so bring a streaming stick as the smart tv didn’t have all the apps (it had the basics like Netflix and HBO). Also the washer and dryer is coin operated so bring quarters if you need to do laundry. We didn’t have any but the hosts were able to exchange dollars for quarters.
