It has become a prime location to set up Airbnb due to its proximity to downtown, the Riverwalk, and the Pearl Brewery area, which has been seeing amazing growth recently. This is a neighborhood in transition, so there is a mixture of nicely done, newly renovated houses and ones that need quite a bit of work. If you are unfamiliar with downtown San Antonio, the street our house is on may give a bad first impression and lead to concerns that you are in a bad part of town. Despite the way the street looks, our house and neighborhood are far away from any dangerous or unwelcoming part of the city as our reviews attest to. And to reassure you, we have had zero safety issues at the house or regarding guests because we've gone above and beyond to provide extra security; locked gates protect your cars, double door entrances, security cameras on the exterior, and a high privacy fence all around the property. The properties on either side of us are an unoccupied law office and renovated bungalows that give our area an urban vibe. We offer a two-car gated driveway and the garage can hold one car on the right side. There is ample free street parking. Uber/Lyft are plentiful and you won't have trouble getting a ride anywhere. Driving through nearly every neighborhood located this close to downtown you'll see they all share this quality, creating unique mixed-income neighborhoods and businesses.
