About this house rental

Situated in Sunset Valley, this attractive house for $111 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Only 16 miles to COTA & 5 miles to downtown! Done with Southeast & South Asian decor from Thailand, Vietnam, The Philippines, & India. This is a perfect place to relax & enjoy your stay in Austin. Full-grain leather sofa, solid wood furniture, 70" TV in living & 50" TVs in bedrooms. The kitchen has a Keurig Duo, full spice rack, Calphalon cookware, extra-large fridge with ice maker, washer, & dryer. You also have access to a private enclosed lighted patio with a table and seating for four. The space During your stay, you will have easy access to the home with the keypad entry and will enjoy the convenience of self-check-in. The beautifully renovated kitchen is stocked with silverware, utensils, pots, pan, dishes, mugs, glasses, plates, and bowls. The pantry holds spices and other cooking essentials if you decide to cook during your stay. There are a dishwasher and a laundry room in the unit for use as well as an iron and ironing board! The bathroom has soaps, some bathroom essentials, and a dryer for use also. Things to keep in mind: Check-in: After 3:00 PM Checkout: 11:00 AM Self-check-in with keypad House Rules: There will be a $250 fine for breaking the following house rules. • Having a pet without paying a pet deposit • No pets on the furniture • No drugs or smoking • No parties or events You must also acknowledge: • Must climb stairs - Bedrooms & full bathroom on 2nd floor. Guest access Keyless entry with one free parking spots. There is also street parking. Other things to note The name "Sheva House" comes from a word in the Thai language, "Sheva" which means "life. We stayed here for ACL weekend 2. The host didn’t reach out with the arrival information for us, I had to reach out to him. We kept getting incorrect codes to the house. When we finally get in, the house has not been cleaned from the previous guests. Trash, used dishes in the sink, used bed sheets and dirty towels in the bathroom. This was at 11 pm and too late to get cleaners. The host offered to provide a refund, but when it was said and done only refunded for the cleaning fee of $95, not the the night we didn’t get to stay there. When I requested at least one night refunded, he stopped responding to me. The house itself was fine, once it was cleaned in the late afternoon the next day. The microwave didn’t work though.

A great location convenient to most of Austin. Walls of place were a little thin, could hear other units but was not a issue. Beds were extremely firm. We would stay here again if we come back to Austin.

Be aware this is not a “house”, but a nice unit in what I think is a quadraplex. Besides that it was located in a nice area within walking distance of a few restaurants, shopping and an excellent grocery store. It was a great value for the area and adequate for our needs while visiting family over the holidays. I would stay here again. With some easy, basic maintenance and more thorough cleaning before arrival, it would earn five stars.

Be aware this is not a “house”, but a nice unit in what I think is a quadraplex. Besides that it was located in a nice area within walking distance of a few restaurants, shopping and an excellent grocery store. It was a great value for the area and adequate for our needs while visiting family over the holidays. I would stay here again. With some easy, basic maintenance and more thorough cleaning before arrival, it would earn five stars.
