Wonderful features: • The kitchen is amazing! We didn’t cook but we loved the water filtration system, gorgeous stained glass in the window, paint and decor colors; everything about it. • Great backyard for relaxing. The deck and cushioned patio furniture were ideal for outdoor lounging, eating breakfast, sipping tea. Very peaceful and open to the sky. • Ideal place for a family with a dog. Our dog loved the large backyard, too. • Great master bedroom. Nicely decorated with a large king bed and comfortable mattress. • Lovely plants! We loved the fragrance of the pink jasmine archway over the walkway to the house. Every plant and tree was healthy and beautiful. Why I didn’t give 5-stars: • Two of three beds, the queen and double, were so uncomfortable we could barely sleep. The worst was the double bed which had a noisy plastic cover on it and was so soft it provided no support. For some people it might be fine, of course. • Dog smell. As soon as we walked in, we noticed the house smelled like dogs. Since we had a dog we were okay with it but it was noticeable. • Some dirty dishes. Most of the dishes were okay but we discovered we had to clean some of the dishes *before* using them. It’s probably due to previous renters, but it was still a drawback. • Doors stuck and hard to open/close. The door to the bedroom with the double bed was very hard to open and close without making a *very* loud noise. Some of the other doors stuck, too. If some of those things are fixed we would definitely stay again or recommend it to others. PS This is my first review on VRBO so I truly hope it’s fair. :)

Amazing getaway, can't wait to come back!
Amazing getaway, can't wait to come back!
We truly loved this house. It was so spacious and comfortable. My communication with the owner Deanna was always pleasant. I highly recommend this house for anyone who loves space. We visited with family in the area, did lots of hikes, and explored the beaches which had amazing tidepools. Because we were out a lot, we did not get much time in the back yard. But I did get to sit out there a couple mornings and relax in the cushioned furniture and enjoy my coffee. The neighborhood was quiet and the encounters we had with the neighbors were friendly. I hope we get an opportunity to come again. When we do, we hope we will be booking with Deanna.
