Incredible sweeping ocean views from the balcony with breathtaking sunsets, abundant sea life cajoling on land and sea, and beautiful places to stroll or sit (inside and out) and take it all in. Time to enjoy this tastefully decorated 2 bedroom condo at Castle Reef Condos located on the NO DRIVE BEACH section of New Smyrna Beach. This 4th floor unit has everything you need to have a relaxing time and sleeps up to 4 comfortably. The large balcony is the perfect spot to enjoy a quiet morning or to watch the beautiful sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy ocean views from every room including both bedrooms, the kitchen, and the living room. Just off the living room is a well-equipped kitchen, with a dining table that seats 4, making it easy to create meals and snacks when desired. The living room has two comfortable couches and a large flat screen cable TV. Walk down the hall to the master bedroom with a king size bed, flat screen TV, a full bathroom including a walk-in shower and two closets. Just across the hall is the second bedroom with a queen size bed and flat screen TV. As our guest you’ll have access to the heated pool and kiddie pool, visit the recreation room at the clubhouse, or enjoy a barbecue at the grill. There’s also a shuffleboard, pickle ball and tennis courts for guests and a large sun deck to bask on. Enjoy direct beach access from Castle Reef and just across the street is a shopping strip mall with restaurants to enjoy! Community Washer and Dyer available for guests. Castle Reef Condominium has a tropical resort feeling with its beautiful landscaped courtyards. This quintessential beach area has a great vibe that beautifully blends the past and the present. I did have a problem with payment going through. I had to deal with the host myself in order to get my payment paid. I feel vrbo should have made sure that transaction. Because I gave them all my information for payment and the communication between VRBO and host did not happen. The only thing I got from VRBO was the reservation. The condo was amazing. Would stay there again.

Pros: Good-size 2/2 with a nice patio with a “side” view of the ocean. Patio with a nice high top style table and chairs. Comfortable beds! Plenty of extra towels, blankets. In the secondary bedroom closet there are beach towels, boogie boards, camp-style chairs, bamboo tanning mats. Internet worked fine. Kitchen was pretty much fully equipped with what looks like recently upgraded counters, sink, appliances. Elevator to the 4th floor close to the unit. Laundry room is almost right outside the unit to the left where you’ll also find the garbage shute. Paver Pool area is beautiful, directly overlooking the ocean with plenty of places to sit, both tables and chairs and loungers. Private beach access on the no- drive part of NSB - so very chill. Gorgeous. Friendly people. Observations: when I book a hotel on the beach, I choose the property by the map filter so I can pick an area I want. VRBO may have fixed it, but when I booked, the property’map’ showed an area just north of Flagler Ave, within walking distance of downtown. The unit is actually 2.4 miles South of Flagler Ave. if you want to avoid taking your car in (Parking and traffic are no joke especially on the weekends) you have to Uber at the cost of 15 each way not including tip. I tried to take it up with VRBO and they said the location was in the property description so it was my fault. . IMO, The unit could use an electric kettle (I like tea in the morning).

We rated this a 2/5 on accuracy. The location on the VRBO map showed the place close to Flagler Ave, when in fact it was 2 miles down the beach. Also, the owner did not tell us that they were dredging the beach during our visit. We liked the condo. The beach was otherwise nice. However, the listing is misleading. We feel we should get some sort of compensation for that.
