About this house rental
Nestled in Lake Oconee, this attractive house for $713 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Create lifelong memories at our Lake Oconee lakefront haven! This home is perfect for multiple families or multiple generations to spend time away from it all, with something for everyone! Walk into this ranch home on full finished basement that is larger than it appears. With almost 4,800 sq feet of living space on over 1 acre lot, 5 bedrooms, plus a bunk room, 4 bathrooms and 2 full kitchens this space will sure to please. On the main level there are 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, plus fully stocked kitchen and living room. The main level was fully renovated in 2024 with a brand new kitchen, cabinets, flooring, paint and bathrooms. The basement has another bedroom, bunk room, bathroom, pool table, piano and plenty of space to entertain. Out back there is a separate game room with ping pong table, full kitchen and bathroom. You will be on a private cove with access to the main water, private dock that is 6-7 feet deep, sandy area for the kids to play, we have a canoe, three kayaks and a paddleboard to experience and a fire pit to roast marshmallows and tell ghost stories. Enjoy relaxing, reading a book or a glass of wine at the many outdoor spaces. If you would like to explore the Lake Oconee area, there is plenty of fishing, golfing, or historic attractions, for everyone in the family to enjoy, like nearby Old Salem Park, Historic Uncle Remus Museum, Lake Oconee Brewery or the many great restaurants in the area. -- THE PROPERTY --Bedroom 1: Queen Bed Bedroom 2: Full Bed, Twin Bed Bedroom 3: Queen Bed Bedroom 4: Queen Bed Bedroom 5 (in basement): 2 Queen Beds, Bunk Room (in basement): 2 Twin Bunk Beds, 2 Twin Beds -- POLICIES --- Occupant is obligated to abide by all of the requirements of the Putnam County ordinances, state and federal law, and such a violation of any of these rules may result in the immediate termination of the agreement and eviction from the premises, as well as potential liability for payment of fines levied. - No smoking - Up to 2 dogs allowed with $150 pet fee - please tell us about your pup before booking - No events, parties or large gatherings - Must be at least 25 years old to book - Additional fees and taxes may apply PESTS: This is Georgia, although the property is regularly treated for bugs, understand that some do find their way in occasionally. We stayed for a long weekend with my extended family to celebrate Christmas. The house was perfect for all the different ages and had plenty of room.

A nice house but needs some cleaning on back porch and website listed a hot tub but there wasn’t one.
Rental agent told me that listing was a glitch but we were disappointed there wasn’t one
Also, rental agent sent me an email on Friday night telling us to prep for Saturday departure but we had rental until Sunday.
So, a nice comfy house but communication needs improvement.

We were there for Thanksgiving, and loved the property. The house was easily able to accommodate our large group. Jeanine was very responsive to any questions we had, and I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy the Lake Oconee area.

We had multiple families in town for a wedding and we stayed together at the house. We had fun with the fire pit and fishing and kayaking off the dock. Lots of great space and plenty of bathrooms.

This house was just perfect for our youth group and teachers! There were 14 of us in the group. The layout of the rooms gave us exactly the space we needed. The kids really enjoyed playing pool and other games in the spacious downstairs area. They enjoyed playing foosball in the game room, as well. The weather was perfect, and the tables outside on the decks were used for most meals. We were very grateful for the area under the deck to be able to load our vehicles because it was raining when it was time to pack up. We will echo what other reviewers said about disposing of the trash. It is really something that you need to plan for. We did a trash run before packing up the vehicles, but there was one final bag to take on our way out a couple of hours later. When we went by the trash center at that time, it was closed, and we ended up having to haul the trash with us until we stopped for lunch. The property owner was very good about replying to messages promptly. We would highly recommend this property for a large group!

We booked a stay with 11 adults and one teenager. There is more than enough space for 5 couples to have their own room and space for singles in bunk beds. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were great.
The game room is incredible and was an awesome spot to serve our meals and just eat them inside or sit by the dock. The dock has kayaks and paddles we were able to use and a great fire pit and BBQ grill.
There is ample parking for over 12 vehicles in the back and it is in a very private neighborhood, but not too far from a local gas station. It is not far from downtown Eatonton either. I will say, you need to take your trash to a trash collection facility, make sure to read all the instructions when you book this stay.

The lake house was perfect for everyone to come and have a great time. There was plenty of space for our large family and the extra game room was a perfect space for our gathering. The owners were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed to make great memories.

We were a party of 18--10 adults & 8 children 11 months-9 years old. The house was very nice & in a beautiful setting. Plenty of room for everyone. We all enjoyed going on the lake in the boats. The property is very hilly, though & may be difficult for someone with mobility issues. We recommend this property to anyone with a large group!

We came with 3 generations of our family, and just loved it! The location was gorgeous, the rooms spacious, the kitchen well equipped, and the game room was a bonus! We plan on returning:)

Everything was just as described. Host was great with communication and directions. We had 18 people for a family reunion. The kids had plenty of space to hang out in the ape parade game room and basement areas when they needed space. Huge fire pit and great dock area to hang out on hot days. We celebrated my daughter and her roomates birthday here and it was basically perfect. House was as described and very well stocked. The separate game room and full kitchen made it perfect for the kids (college age) but also to prep the low country boil we had outside. We sat at the firepit for several hours each evening singing and playing the guitar. My only critique is the bathrooms upstairs have no towel hooks or bars. Each bathroom is shared by two bedrooms so really need a way to hang towels for four adults. Communication with the hosts was quick and easy.

We had a large family group from 1 year to 93 and there was something for everyone! Lots of space and activities — inside and out — which was great for a weekend getaway. Kayaking, canoeing, fishing, ping pong, board games - its all there! Trickiest part as others have mentioned is the trash at checkout -maybe even harder due to our Sunday checkout and limited hours for trash drop off in the immediate area. We recommend this home where the owners have a clear intention of making guests comfortable. We had a wonderful time!!

We stayed at this property for the 2nd year in a row for our annual business staff retreat. We look forward to this retreat every year as a time to team-build and plan for the year. This home is absolutely perfect for our group. It has lots of space, both inside and out, with lots of activities to keep us entertained. We really enjoyed the game shed, fire pit, and being right on the lake. The property manager was terrific to work with and was always very communicative. We hope to stay here again in the future!

We loved staying at this beautiful lake house. The scenery is gorgeous and there was enough space for the 9 adults and 4 young kids in my group. Keep in mind that the bunk room does not have a door. That turned out to be fine as the kids stayed put, but it made us a little nervous the first night. We enjoyed using the provided kayaks, pool table, & foosball table. The kitchen was well stocked. The only small issue was that one of the bathrooms was a little short on toilet paper. Otherwise, the stay was pretty perfect! I would definitely recommend and would go again if I ever head that way again.

This property was absolutely perfect for our family during the week of our son’s wedding. Much preparation and cooking was required for our group, and the kitchen was mostly adequate for that. The game house was an added bonus for our son and his four attendants to hang out in. The supplied water toys for the big people was great, but it can’t be helped that there were no shallow areas for the toddlers in our group. The description said that paper products were supplied for the house, but one roll of paper towels and a few rolls of toilet paper was definitely not enough. As others have stated, having to dispose of your own trash can be difficult. It would be nice on day of departure if one bag could be left for the cleaning team to dispose of. It is very difficult to try to load trash and luggage and get to the airport. You’re out of luck if it’s one of the days that the center is closed. There could be a bit more attention to detail from housecleaning. One of our bathrooms was not in good shape and lots of dried food and crumbs we’re in drawers and cabinets and under things in the kitchen. Overall this was a great stay for us.

Annual Labor Day weekend with college friends and our kids. Great house for a range of ages. We have kids ranging in age from 12 to 16, and they all enjoyed the pool table, ping-pong table, etc. We all enjoyed the space and having to separate places to congregate, in addition to the lake. Comfortable beds and a nice kitchen. We had a great stay!

Great Property for a Group Lake Gathering
Spent a guys golf weekend at the property and was very impressed with the space! Great game room detached from the house and dock on a quiet cove. Would definitely recommend to anyone planning a group outing!

Nice place for larger group
This was our second time staying in this house. It is great for a bigger group and has some really nice features. The pool house with a second kitchen is very convenient. The property seemed a little less well-maintained compared to the first time we were there, and it was inconvenient to have to haul our own trash away. Overall though we have a very nice stay.
