About this house rental
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to stay in a tiny house-there isn’t a better opportunity than now.
BoHo Bungalow is a charming 372 sq ft. studio nestled among the treetops overlooking the beautiful, tranquil waters of the Bahamas. The inside is adorable, but most of our time is spent in the 700 sq ft. of covered outdoor space!
Take one step inside the door to be met by the beautiful ocean blues with a panoramic view of our favorite ocean on Earth. The entire width of the bungalow is framed in picture windows with impact glass. Whether you are inside relaxing on the plush sofa or napping on the porch on one of the two outdoor couches, the view is top notch.
(Side Note: Watch your step when walking out onto the porch as it steps down 6 inches to ensure the handrails wouldn’t impact the view from inside the bungalow.)
We also have two loungers on the patio downstairs for the times it’s a little windy upstairs! Or, maybe you just want the views of the indigenous flowers, banana palms, and plush grass below.
The kitchen is a wonderful galley with bright purple cabinets. Don’t worry-If you don’t really want to spend so much time in the kitchen on vacation, there are several restaurants here on the island who would love to serve you some fresh conch fritters, grilled wahoo or lobster from the local waters! The cottage has a small percolator, an espresso machine and a Moka pot for your choice in your morning cup of ambition!
You will have access to the washer & dryer and a small closet to store your things. Everything in this house is small!
Thewall mounted, smart tv pivots to view from either the bed or the couch. Feel free to sign in to your Netflix account or bring your firestick! TV watching is available but, it’s definitely a secondary activity as the WiFi is not unlimited. WiFi is available throughout the bungalow.
The bathroom is the home to a custom tiled shower or the outdoor shower with hot/cold water on the south side of the property with incredible water pressure. There is something magical about showering in nature among all the tropical trees.
There is a queen size bed which looks out on the north side to the beautiful water. If you want to sleep in, we suggest you use the little hooks along the top of the windows to hang the curtains to allow for that extra sleep. There is a noise machine on the bedside table for your use.
We will provide you with a starter pack of essentials: toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags. The island grocery store, Food Fair-has all the items you will need to stock up on for your stay! There are reusable grocery bags in the bungalow for shopping as the Bahamas has eliminated single use plastic. YAY!
We have a strict NO SMOKING policy. If you are a smoker, please consider renting another home on the island.
How you get here:
There are many airlines that fly to ELH-with Delta and American being the two largest airlines with daily flights. Once you arrive at ELH, we will have Pinder taxi service waiting for you. You will jump in a 15 passenger van and be driven a few miles to Gene’s Bay dock, where the same person will bring you over to Spanish wells via the ferry! Or-if you prefer taking another taxi from the airport-you can hop on the government ferry for the short jaunt to Spanish Wells! Either way, its a quick trip from landing in Eluethera and having your toes in the sand on Spanish Wells!
From there our caretaker will meet you! We suggest renting a golf cart (buggy is the island name) and having the use of it during your stay. Buggy rentals are $50 a day and totally part of the magic of this island! We can set that up for you in advance-just let us know your wishes!
I am available by email or text before you travel and while you are on island. We love this little piece of paradise, so if you have questions, I would love to help answer them. Donna Pinder is our property manager and will be a great asset to you should you need anything during your stay!

This was our SECOND TIME staying at BOHO BUNGALOW! It is an outstanding accommodation with an AMAZING view of the ocean. The property is very clean with a lot of the comforts of being at home. We cannot thank our gracious host, Heather, enough; she once again showed us why she is respected so highly by Vrbo customers. We were also welcomed on the Island by many wonderful local residents, including our property manager, Donna—a wonderful lady who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable at BOHO. If you are looking for a PEACEFUL VIBE, this is the place you want!

Everything was great! Could of used more TP, but we took what was down in the other bathroom downstairs. Liked that there was hand soap and other misc. items from past guests. Heather was amazing!! She answered all my questions (which were a lot). Always got back to me right away. We will be back next year.

My wife and I have visited for the day Spanish Wells a few times in the past when staying on Eleuthera. We stayed at BoHo Bungalow in mid-February of 2026 for a week. Leading up to the trip the owners were great, helpful and answered any questions we had. Donna the property manager met us at the ferry the morning of our trip and was helpful getting us to the house and introducing us to the home's features. The home is small, but was perfect for my wife and I. The bed and sheets were very comfortable. The view from the upper patio is amazing and you are able to see the water in front of the north beach on Spanish Wells. The colors of the water were breathtaking. We relaxed, had coffee and cocktails on the patio each day overlooking the water. The kitchen, bathroom and living area had everything you could need and was clean and well taken care of by the owners. The house is a short drive to the few restaurants and beaches. The north beach is quiet, uncrowded, the sand is silky soft and you can walk out into the ocean for hundreds of yards and not be up to your waist. Everything was perfect. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation and not looking for a "resort" experience the home and location is perfect. We loved it. My wife and I often say we should not tell people good things because it may change what we love about the island and make it harder to book. :-)
