Situated in Wild Dunes, this lovely house for $700 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Anchors Away! Your most fabulous vacation in Wild Dunes on Isle of Palms, SC begins at our spectacular home. Located in the heart of Wild Dunes resort; step out the back door and onto the Boardwalk to access the exclusive two ocean front pools, cafe, bar, seasonal live entertainment and beach. You will also be conveniently located with a short walk to the Boardwalk Inn, The Village at Wild Dunes, Tennis Center, Woody's Cafe, The Harbor Pro Shop and Golf Course, The Sweetgrass Pavilion, Sweetgrass Inn, and Sand and Sea Salon and Spa. Life couldn't be easier while staying at Anchors Away! Each bedroom offers its own private en suite- perfect for a group of friends, or family to have privacy. This home has been professionally decorated. The decor throughout the home is a breezy blue and white nautical theme with adorable specialty names for each suite. No Wake Zone suite anyone? We cannot wait for you to join us, get your toes in the sand and relax! First floor: living room, dining room, kitchen, patio with steps onto the boardwalk, "No Wake Zone Suite:" full bath, one bedroom with en suite and king bed. Second floor: two bedrooms with en suite, "Blue Coral" and "Anchor's Away". Both bedrooms bedrooms offer two queen beds. "Blue Coral" also features a crib set for an infant (not adjustable). Third floor: "Isle of Palms Suite" Considered the Master Suite; offering a king bed, private patio, and en suite with large walk in closet, two separate vanities, walk in shower and soaking tub. Ocean view from the balcony and bathroom! D suite master bath was fully renovated 2024, with new bedroom furniture and decor. Staying in this home provides complimentary access to the two ocean front pools at the Grand Pavilion. Guests may enjoy all dining outlets within the Resort. Golf tee times and lessons, tennis lessons and bike rentals are available for a fee. This home offers ten beach chairs, two sand umbrellas, one beach wagon and miscellaneous beach toys for your enjoyment.

We really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and spacious. Worked great for our family. Super close to beach, pools and restaurants. I just wish we had access to the kids pool on property but that’s a rule through Wild dunes. Overall would def stay again!!

This house was absolutely perfect for our family during my sister’s wedding weekend. Amy was VERY responsive and super helpful throughout the whole stay. The location was amazing being steps away from pools/beach/bar/wedding ceremony! We have already looked up when we will be coming back to stay. Until next time, Wild Dunes!

Overall we had a great stay. The house was very clean and ready when we checked in. The kids love playing on the boardwalk every day and the ability to walk anywhere, we rented a golf cart too and explored the island. Biggest downside here is the Wifi does not work on the second or third floor, with kids and trying to work some, and cell service very poor, it created a number of nuisances. Property manager replied right away and sent out tech, tech said no issues even though I sent multiple screenshots of issues from various devices, it actually got worse after he came. I know networking and this home needs to upgrade to a mesh system and change the network name/pw for better security. Only other small things were the master shower and top floor shower heads all leak about 50% and need replacing, some mattresses are nearing their end of life with big divots in the middle of some of them. Few little maintenance things that could be better taken care of and would easily give this home 5/5.

This home is in the perfect location with quick access to everything. The house has plenty of space for multiple people. It was clean but definitely smelled of cigarette smoke. The owner said she had not noticed it but all 6 people in my group agreed. When you first walk in each time it is kind of overwhelming. Only other problem we had was we ran out of toilet paper in 2 bathrooms within 2 days of being there and they do not supply extra so make sure you bring your own! I've never had to bring toilet paper in all the VRBO's I've stayed before so that was a first!

Wonderful house. Great location. The amenities were superb. We enjoyed the restaurants, pools, the pavilion, the ice cream shop, the nightly live music and so much more. Inside the house, the furnishings were comfortable and house with nicely appointed as and every thing was very clean. The air conditioning was wonderful on all three levels. Of all the Wild Dunes residences we have rented, this was our favorite. The communication with Amy was excellent.

We take a yearly trip with our extended family to Isle of Palms, and we all agree this house was hands down our favorite of all the rentals we've booked over the years. Amazing location, steps from the pools and beach access. The pavilion/pool area also has a snack bar and a cocktail bar which is super convenient. The house itself has everything you need, every bedroom has it's own en suite which is a life saver, especially when traveling with kids. The bedrooms are comfortable and each one has it's own cute theme. The property manager is quick to respond and remedy any issues that may arise - also went out of her way to mail me a shirt I had mistakenly left behind. Would love to stay at this property again in the future.

If a cleaning service was actually used the owner should demand money back….
The floors had not been cleaned….crumbs and even small chunks of food were all over the living room area rug. Candy was even stuck to one of the pillows on the couch.
The master bathroom was terrible. It really needs to be remodeled. I took photos of the shower….it had mold! The shower head had not been cleaned at all. It was disgusting. The sinks and countertops were dirty. None of the tables or nightstands had been cleaned. The master bedroom nightstand had mystery stains on the glass….so clearly it had not been cleaned. There weren’t enough towels in any of the bathrooms, and the towels that were there were super small. We had to use the larger pool towels as bath towels.
The glass door going out to the porch had sticky, child-size handprints all over it. There was a filthy rug and rug pad left wadded up on the porch at the door. We had to move it to access the door. There weren’t enough chairs on the porch….only 3 chairs. We had to bring chairs from the dining room when we sat on the porch.
I’ve stayed at the coral colored house across from this house and it was super clean. The only good thing I can say about the house….the linens on the beds were clean and the beds were very comfortable. It’s also a great location.
I did not contact anyone upon arrival because we had all traveled long distances and just want to unpack and start our vacation. I knew if I contacted anyone it would have been ongoing text messages, etc. or someone would have been sent to clean. None of us wanted this because we all had to get unpacked and ready dinner. You just don’t want strangers in your rental once you’ve unpacked. We would have had to stay there while it was being cleaned and we had pre-arranged vacation plans. I knew I would receive an email from VRBO to rate our stay once we checked out. The bottom line is, I will never rent this house again and can’t recommend it because it was dirty. Very disappointing for that kind of money.

Beautiful House
Brought my in-laws from Scotland for a mini beach getaway. The house had everything we needed and more. From location, cleanliness, comfort of beds, communication with owner everything was top notch. One thing I wish the listing had noted was the beach chairs and umbrella that were there for guests to use as we packed all those things and didnt even need it. Thank you Amy for such an incredible few days.

Great Location, communication and property
We loved our stay at the Isle of Palms. Great communication with the property manager and loved the property. Comfy beds and well stocked kitchen. This is perfect for families with children. It is three stories so may be harder on those with mobility issues. We brought walkie talkies for the kids to communicate across floors it was also helpful to “ring” the dinner bell.
Furnished beach chairs and umbrella which is very nice. We will be staying here again!

We had a golf group of 4 visit and it was just a perfect house. Location is amazing, all bedrooms with own bathroom and Amy who was the property manager was FANTASTIC! We will be back next year (only negative is IOP doesn't have Ubers at all. You need a vehicle if you want to leave property)

The perfect trip
Beautiful, peaceful, clean, quiet, fun.
“Anchors Away” on the boardwalk at the Pavilion is the best beach stay we’ve experienced! To wake up and drink coffee outside next to the quiet boardwalk as another sunny day on the Isle of Palms begins, melts the stress away. A pool, ice cream shop, burgers and bar, music, huge sandy beach, on and on.
Plenty to do for the kids with a playground, bike (and pull cart) rentals, corn hole, and tons of wildlife to explore! Don’t forget the public park off of 30th Ave too! For the golfers, you’ll really enjoy the scenic, well-maintained course. Bring an extra sleeve of balls though.
Coastal Crust Pizza is a must try! The fig & prosciutto is to die for… and don’t miss their chocolate gelato either. Check out the Gallery at Sweetgrass for some amazing local art and meet some really talented artists while you're browsing. If you’re running low on groceries, Hudson’s Market has some great options too.
The house was spotless, modern, and wonderfully planned. We loved the themed décor of the rooms with “Anchors Away,” “No Wake Zone,” and “Blue Coral.” You can tell the property manager/owners take a lot of care in making your time an experience to remember for a lifetime.
We can’t recommend this highly enough. We will be back as often as possible; it was that good!
